The host was amazing. Extremely welcoming and friendly, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Private access to the pool and a large, covered terrasse were the highlights. The natural surroundings were beautiful. While this pool was for our private use, the owner's house and their terrasse are right next to it so you don't have complete privacy, however the owner respects your space and doesn't come out when you are there. The inside of the apartment is a bit dated but everything was functional. The bed is only a Double which is a bit small for us (2 tall people), but we knew that in advance. The pool and terrace are upstairs from the apartment, so you need to carry food, etc.. up there to enjoy meals there. A small inconvenience for a beautiful setting. The road to get up to the apartment is quite treacherous. We had a small, economy car and it was fine, but it is very steep and the road is not in great condition so it was a bit of an adventure each time! All in all, terrific value for the money.

Fantastic host

Ode is an exceptionally gracious host. She was welcoming and very kind. She provided us a ride to the grocery store and marina at the end of our stay. The on-line description recommended a car and we would recommend that as well given the location of the property.

Agréable séjour...

Le gîte est bien situé entre Basse Terre et Grande Terre pour découvrir la Guadeloupe. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse d'Ode, présente si besoin mais discrète tout au long du séjour. Le gîte est au milieu d'une belle végétation et la terrasse et la piscine sont très agréables. Nous recommandons !

La villa est en tout point conforme à la description de l'annonce. Confortable, pratique et avec tout le nécessaire pour un agrébale séjour. Ce qui n'est pas indiqué dans l'annonce c'est la gentillesse et les délicates attentions de l'hôte qui nous a accueilli avec chaleur et enthousiasme. Ode est disponible, à l'écoute de nos besoins et d'une gentillesse extraordinaire! Et discrète tout à la fois. C'est nous qui sollicitions sa présence en fin de journée pour lui raconter nos belles randonnées. Le carbet et la piscine qui nous sont exclusivement réservés ont été un atout indéniable et nous avons énormément apprécié. La localisation centrale est idéale pour rayonner facilement dans l'île. Vous pouvez venir ici sans hésitation et nous allons aussi partager l'existence de ce petit bijou avec nos amis. Comme nous lui avons souligné, ode est responsable d'au moins 50% du bonheur de nos 2 semaines en Guadeloupe. Nous la qualifions de super-hôte. Merci encore Ode de nous avoir permis de passer des vacances extraordinaires!

Farniente au calme

Un virage à 90° avant d'attaquer une pente raide pour accéder à la résidence. Le logement est très agréable avec le coin vie, et au-dessus un carbet avec piscine. L'endroit est très calme, dans la verdure et sans moustiques. La propriétaire est accueillante et n'hésite pas à nous rendre service en cas de besoin. Merci pour tout Ode.
