The town bus service picks up at the Esplanade and serves all points in the town including Lerwick’s two supermarkets, Shetland Museum and Archives, Mareel cinema and arts centre and the Viking Bus depot from which bus services depart to all Shetland’s outlying areas. Commercial Street is also home to the town’s many pubs, cafes and restaurants with a wide variety of dining choices to suit all tastes. The apartment is also a perfect base from which to make the most of all the activities that Shetland’s world renowned festivals of Up Helly Aa, Shetland Folk Festival, Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival and Shetland Wool Week have to offer.
