Amazing property and perfect for a getaway

What a fantastic stay at O'Connors Retreat in Blowing Rock! My wife and I booked it for a quick couples getaway and absolutely loved it. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful – exactly what we needed. Those mountain views are seriously amazing, and having a hot tub just made it perfect. We'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing escape. Can't wait to go back!

The property was as stated in the listing and included all the amenities we needed. The host was very attentive and in communication when neededI would really recommend this place for solitude. But close to many attractions.

Birthday Weekend Escape

The property was better than advertised. We couldn't have chose a better spot to stay for our weekend getaway. The views from the cabin are phenomenal, and it's conveniently located with only a short drive to downtown for entertainment after the sun sets.

Great place to unplug

Beautiful views. Comfortable everything. This place has it all. Convenient not just to Blowing Rock but to Boone as well. It was the perfect place to just get away from it all and we hope to come back!

O'Connors Retreat is wonderful

It's a wonderful, secluded cabin with an amazing view. But easy access to Blowing Rock and surrounding area. Our family enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Perfect and Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I rented O’Connor’s retreat for my birthday week in December. This place is so perfectly cozy, well-appointed and lovely! The Mountain View’s are stunning both at sunrise and sunset. The hosts are just really good people who take the time to provide a wonderful experience for guests. Make sure that you read the details in the description. It is remote, quiet and set in the mountains - for us this was a huge part of the charm. The kitchen is very well stocked with a variety of cooking tools and such. The host welcomed us with a very nice bag of coffee, a bottle of wine and chocolates. We are already in looking to book this cabin again!
