Very clean and well organized. Great hot tub with great views. Could use curtains for people who like to sleep in, but we appreciated the encouragement to wake up early.

Excellent property that was very convenient to the wedding event that we had in Leicester. The property is private with an excellent view to the east for morning sunrise. The check-in process couldn't have been any easier while the house was filled with everything needed for our 6 day stay. We will definitely recommend to others.

This house is our dream home and one day we can’t wait to own something just like it. The views, the quiet, the neighbors, everything about it was just 11/10. Roads leading up are a bit steep and winding the first time so it’s a bit of a shock if you’re a flatlander, my wife was terrified 😂 few spider friends set up shop outside every night and caught tons of bugs which we were appreciative of, and on our last night we had a thunderstorm that was just incredibly beautiful and relaxing to watch as it ebbed and flowed through the mountains and hills. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Beautiful remote property

Property was beautiful and had all the amenities we could ask for - hot tub, pool table, and a beautiful view. A bit remote relative to Asheville city center but well serviced by ride share companies. Would definitely stay again.

The details were off the charts, from soap to paper products to towels to firewood. The house was spotless and totally functional. We would definitely stay here again.

Country stay

Lovely, clean house. Loved eating on the deck and looking down into the valley with farms and scattered houses. No neighbors looking into our windows and deck unless you count a family of wild turkey's passing by.

Beautiful home in a convenient location.

The house was wonderful. Close to Asheville, Maggie Valley (skiing) and Mars Hill (tubing). Some of the listing information was inaccurate - it’s not a gas fireplace and the rooms do not have separate thermostats as advertised. There was also very little hot water so most of our group had cold showers but it was a nice visit.

3 BR House in Leicester, NC

House is very spacious. The view of the mountains is stunning. House is very light and airy. The kitchen is very large and is moderately well equipped. It is, however, very hard to get to the property by car, hard to park in the driveway, and also hard to get in the front door from where you must park: Big uneven steps made of stone and without handrails.

WOW! Even better than we expected

This property was amazing. The photos online didn't do it justice. It was large, comfortable and stacked with everything we needed. The view was unbelievable from the hot tub! That was a huge hit with my daughter and her boyfriend. The sunrises were stunning. The house itself is very well designed and there are no direct neighbors which is a plus for us! The only suggestion I have would be to perhaps replace the living room sofa, it is very low to the ground and not super comfortable. We would stay at this property again for sure!

Nice Place - Great Views

Overall, it is a very nice home with a great views. They need to update their listing description, however. It does NOT have a gas fire pit on the deck as shown in the pictures. Due to some fire restrictions or something but they should note that. Also, the daily "free" items are not accurate. Ski and tubing resort have not been open for years, for example.

great location, relaxing stay

The place was beautiful and great value for the price. hot tub and pool table were big selling points for us amlnd they did not disappoint. The view was amazing as well! The only downside was the need for some blackout curtains in the master bedroom. If you dont want to wake up with the sun in the morning youll need to bring an eye-mask to sleep. The upstairs AC didnt work but that didnt matter to us because there were only two of us and everything we needed was on the lower levels. I will definitely be back next year if they change the curtain situation. Property management was responsibe and great as well! Overall, 5/5.

Great house and amenities

There are a couple of things that need to be addressed: 1) First step main entrance is rotted away and is a trip hazard. 2) Curtains in main bedroom can not be raised, pull strings are missing. 3) Shower heads in main bathroom shower need to be replaced, one is not working properly. 4) Signage could help to find the house/driveway upon approach, not very clear. 5) Drain connected to evaporation lined of HVAC system gets clogged and maybe there is a better way to manage this. Flooded part of the poolroom, agent was prompt to address but could still be a problem for a guest in the future if not addressed.

Beautiful house with gorgeous view

What I enjoyed most about this stay: Bucolic mixed farmland and forest views with a mountains backdrop, beautifully constructed and designed home with huge windows covering a very high living room, outstanding and spacious hot tub with views, spacious and well appointed kitchen with Nespresso coffee maker, great game room. What I enjoyed least: broken AC on second floor upon arrival, fixed on third day and then tech left first floor AC breaker off, had to figure it out ourselves. No working curtains on master bedroom to control amount of light and heat from sun, near impossible to lock master bedroom door that leads to deck. Some wear an tear (most shower heads malfunctioning, stuck drawers, torn ping pong paddles). Some minor cleaning issues like accumulated toilet plaque, food crumbs under sofa, some dirt inside hot tub.

Horrible Property Managers

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful, minus a severe need for a new coat of paint. Otherwise, exactly as pictured. However, the Property Management company was unbelievably disappointing. First, out of concern for the impending hurricane and the fact that my group was traveling a great distance, I asked what we would do in the event the power went out or if we needed to vacate the property. I was told we would "cross that bridge when we get to it." - unacceptably poor customer service. Then, after our arrival, a large landscaping truck and crew appeared in the driveway and began working on the property, which was inconvenient and intrusive. Then, upon entering the property, it became very obvious it was not cleaned well as there was visible debris on the carpet and an empty beer can left out in the basement. Additionally, because the house directions instructed us to test the hot tub before use, I attempted to find the test strips but could not locate them. When I texted and called the Property Managers, they did not answer until multiple hours later and told me the hot tub was fine and I could use it without testing, which was concerning. Shockingly, when we stripped the sheets at check-out, we discovered there were no mattress covers, which made us all feel extremely unclean. I have never experienced such poor quality property management in this price range, and I cannot recommend this property under the current management.

Amazing View

We stayed here as part of a trip we gift our in-laws with to see the Biltmore at Christmas. It’s a great location for views, spacious house and had nice kitchen and entertaining areas. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were actually nice quality. The only con was waiting to get into the house until quite a bit after check in because the cleaning crew was not done cleaning. They apologized over and over and were very sweet and explained they were put behind by unusual circumstances. I think we waited outside nearly an hour. We hung out on the deck which again the views made up for the inconvenience. There were a few minor things that needed repair and the cleaning wasn’t as good as hoped but I think they were really rushing to get us in after being behind. My kids loved the pool table, my in-laws loved the great sized first floor master. We all loved that the kitchen was easy to cook in. I also loved the 5 star views and that everyone was happy. We would visit again!
