We were boating up the coast and booked last minute as it was close to port and old city. The hotel is in a nice residential area short work to the stunning old city. Hotel is party based in an old church still partly open and we had the priests changing room ! Great breakfast it's not luxury but it's clean , friendly and we were made to feel very welcome .

We selected this hotel because a friend told us that this is where the Italians holiday. The hotel provided us with excellent accommodation located in a magical town close to a weekly night market. Good eats are within walking distance. Most restaurants will tell you if they are offering fresh fish or frozen, I found this a refreshing addition to your decision making process when selecting your menu. People are friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay in hotel San Giuseppe.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is 5 minute walk to the centre where there are lots of great restaurants and the marina which is amazing. The beach is also a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was good and Antonio and Lorena were fantastic staff who were never too busy to help.

We stayed here one night over Easter and everything was lovely. We had a superior room which was clean and modern and warm. We had sky tv which was lovely as a lot of hotels only have Italian Channels. The bathroom was great, a large shower with a good flow of water. Breakfast consisted of eggs, meats, bread, fruit, yogurts and cakes. Everything we expected. The garage parking wasn't available to us as our car was fairly big but the porter guided us to nearby parking space which was inexpensive and convenient. The female receptionist was charming and the porters spoke English which was helpful. The location is great for exploring the centre of Otranto on foot. Would definitely stay here again.

Good and nice Hotel in the heart of Otranto. Very near the centre and the sea. Staff extremely nice & professional, always ready to satisfy all your needs. Rooms clean and rich breakfast. Hotel SanGiuseppe was an old "masseria" ( a kind of farm for food production). And probably a kind of Monastery. Even today you can admire the little church at the entrance of the Hotel. Very good. MaxB.

This was the second year that we have stayed in this hotel. Modernised in a sympathetic manner and very convenient to the centre of Otranto this a fantastic place to stay. There is on site secure underground parking, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast is delightful. Overall - a great place to stay.

This was the 6th hotel in a week long cycling trip. Room was modern, immaculate and very comfortable with an outside sitting area. The location is great and the reception and restaurant staff could not have been more helpful. A highlight is the terrace/lounge area which is attractively decorated and is a lovely place to relax. Breakfast is really good - I'm still dreaming of my breakfast treat - the superb chocolate hazelnut torte perfectly complemented by an espresso.

Stayed as part of a six day bicycling trip around Apulia. The hotel was lovely with spacious, comfortable rooms. Each room had a exterior entrance with a nice patio area for each room. It was a bit of a walk to the historic center, about 10 minutes, but the hotel was worth the walk because of the spcious room and patio. Also had a beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast was served.

We spent four nights in one of the family rooms and we were really surprised and pleased by how friendly everybody was with us. We have a 5 months baby and we got all we requested for him. Breakfast very good with most cakes and salads house-made. The building is an old farm well re-built as hotel.

After a difficult uphill stage of a bike trip, the welcome received in this hotel was very much appreciated. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Our room was modern, comfortable & quiet. There is secure, underground parking for bikes & cars. This is a "wellness" hotel that includes a spa. It is a short walk to the historic area of Otranto, which is beautiful and on the sea. Their recommendation for a restaurant for dinner was perfect (another wonderful meal in Puglia). Breakfast was very good as well, and there is a nice patio for before dinner drinks.
