I’ll start with the good- the decor and character were amazing. Charming. Well decorated rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful grounds and awesome breakfast. The unfortunate- While the front desk inaccurately stated (to every guest checking in) the pool and hot tub were open until 9… the pool was clearly drained and being maintained (closed for the season) and the hot tub was covered with a sign saying it was out of order. Since these were critical features in the booking of our stay- we were disappointed- but the front desk was very kind and apologetic and offered to keep the saunas open late for us as well as a discount on our stay. We were thankful for the integrity of Inn and I’ll be back again soon!

Really cute place. The service was awesome especially Chloe who checked us in and made us a to go bag breakfast for our long hike to Colchuck Lake. Having the sauna and hot tub accessible after the hike was so great. The hot breakfast the second day was delicious. Great coffee! And we even snuck in another early morning hot tub soak. The room was gorgeous. In room air conditioning was dated, but opening the window was fine for letting cool air in. It was a pretty perfect stay!

This is an amazing inn. We loved everything about it. The food was fresh and delicious every morning. We loved how it was dog friendly, even though we didn't have a dog ourselves. The balcony was wonderful and we could sit and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

The Blue Elk Inn was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. The entire place was a wonderland. Beautiful decks, gardens, pool area and saunas! The hot breakfast in the morning was of excellent quality. Who doesn't like fresh strawberries and whipped cream with their pancakes? A delight! We especially enjoyed the tree lined walkway to town.

This place is a backyard oasis! The value and quality of the rooms were great. I have never been to a property that has been taken care of like this! The pictures do it no justice! If you’re not staying here you are missing out.

Had trouble getting into our room had the front desk have to come try and she struggled to open the door. Once in the Reserved patio room there was extremely loud road construction that went until after 11pm. So we weren't able to use the patio because the multiple pieces of equipment being run 30ft away from our door. We understand this was not work being done at the hotel but wasn't mentioned or dealt with in anyway from the hotel. Room was updated but thin walled. Tv was hard to run and was unable to connect phone to the tv using all screen sharing apps on tv. Bed was the best part of the trip, it was extremely comfy. Breakfast was limited but it seemed like they rotated daily the main course. Main course wasn't great but it was something ended up having to go into town for breakfast every morning. Also seemed restrictive had to have a key to access lobby after 9 and had to schedule use of saunas. Also location is not ideal for walking Leavenworth. Was pretty disappointed in this site.
