Beautiful cabin with great amenities. Would stay here again. Just be careful when driving into the driveway of the cabin, if your not careful your bumper may scrape.

Amazing Hills Cabin

The cabin was very clean and the location was perfect to get to deadwood! Check in and check out were simple and easy. The views from the living room were gorgeous. It was the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway with friends and family for hiking, hot tubing, gambling, and fishing. We also brought our 2 dogs so they could come hike and enjoy the weekend without being boarded so it was absolutely perfect! Thank you for an amazing accommodation.

A great cabin for a family gathering

We really enjoyed our time at Gunstock Lodge. It was warm and inviting with great spaces for our family. The cabin was pet friendly, so my family could bring our dogs. We were cognizant of keeping the dogs on the first floor and off the furniture. The cabin was also well stocked with kitchen items, games, and some movie options. We enjoyed our time at this cabin and would stay here again!

Exactly what we were looking for. Location great and easy to get to. Many Cabins in area but still a private stay. Very clean and host was quite easy to work with and responded very quickly when asked questions.

Nice place if you don’t need to sleep

I should have trusted past reviews. TERRIBLE beds. Mattress sunk in the middle. My husband spent the first night on the couch. We did discover that it was better if we laid diagonal with our legs hanging over the edge of the bed. More disappointing that I completed there emailed survey with zero response almost 48 hours later. Have stayed at many VRBO properties and loved every experience. This was such a disappointment.

Wonderful

The house was perfect. Only one issue was the driveway. It was all rock and holes big enough to fall into. It was not safe to drive motorcycles or trailers up and park. We had to park on the road which is also a huge incline.

Our Stay at Gunstock

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Loved the property. It is well designed and decorated. The set up was great and we loved the outdoor space (deck, hot tub, neighborhood, etc). We also enjoyed the pool and clubhouse. The kids loved the games upstairs and the heated pool. We plan to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed out time at Gunstock! Beautiful setting - easy checkin - good response to our concerns. Beds were a bit small and poor mattresses. Lots of rain and some wash out in driveway - kept saying it would be filled but not until the morning we left. The lights and ceiling fans in main floor bedroom and loft were messed up. Very modern kitchen, great hot tub, beautiful scenery, and wrap around deck! Lots of memories - would stay again if some things were updated, such as beds!

Location was great. Nice home. Our major complaints are the beds. Full beds seem strange for grown adults that are normally in queen size or king. and none were that comfortable. I would also put drapes on the windows. Sun shines in morning very early and woke us up with the birds. Towel bar in main bathroom was broken and sink didn't drain. Just minor maintenance issues.

End of summer UTV family fun

Great location, property just as described, perfect for our 15 year old son, .my husband and me. The only recommendation is that the bottom of the driveway be filled in. Also guests need to understand the parking limitations for multiple trailers and vehicles. Looking forward to returning next year!!!

Fabulous accommodations, easy access to wheeling trails

Very nice cabin, great clubhouse, fun wheeling trails, lots of wildlife. Would stay here again! Other cabins in the area look nice too - all are different sizes. Peaceful vacation for our family!

Very nice property

We had a very nice stay. I would say it is way more populated then it suggests. You have neighbors all around you. The pool was very small and very dated. The outside patio furniture was very dirty and worn. You need to maintain the hot tub during your stay which was a bit stressful. As I have never owned one. The instructions were clear but would rather not have to deal with it. Out overall stay was good.

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful and in a great location! Lots of room for 8 of us! The wrap around deck is awesome! However, the home is very limited on TP, PT and any kitchen supplies you may need from cooking utensils, to pots and pans to mixing bowls. Be sure to bring spices, foil, plastic wrap or storage containers, zip lock bags. Some of this is mentioned in the home amenities and description, however.
