Small, noisy, with beautiful view of the marina
I was quite disappointed. There was some difficulty as I only speak English, but used a computer translator to communicate with the host. The manager met us at the apartment and asked for a 3.50 euro per night tax fee. This is the first time I had heard of this and I called the site and they still haven't gotten back to me although I was told that hosts are not supposed to ask for additional fees. With other rental sites hosts tend to leave recommendations regarding the city or neighborhood. There was nothing. There was no information regarding wifi or how to work the stove or washer or where to put trash. The manager explained a few things in French, which we tried to understand using a computer translator.
We awakened to loud school children at 7 am every morning. We could hear every sound from the hallways and water running from other apartments. The apt was small and poorly lit. The shower door was falling off its tract. The saving grace was a beautiful view of the harbor. The neighborhood has a few restaurants and shopping. The host did answer questions in a timely fashion.
I would not stay here again, we were limited as we booked a few weeks prior and other places were not available.
