Riverside Chalet Retreat

Tucked between serene valleys and majestic mountains, this 3-bedroom chalet in Le Cheylard welcomes groups of up to six for a tranquil escape. Set along a quiet road-once a railway line-it borders the gentle river Eyrieux, offering a scenic launchpad for hiking and cycling adventures. Inside, the warm fireplace sets a cozy tone while the BBQ invites alfresco gatherings under the stars. The house sits in a lush environment with trails meandering through panoramic vistas, making it ideal for nature enthusiasts. Guests can swim or fish in the nearby pond, stroll through the historic town center with its Roman church and riverside lanes, or admire the Château de la Chèze, a 13th-century gem perched above town. The ambiance is laid-back, with interiors designed for comfort and windows framing the region's wild beauty. Local highlights extend beyond the doorstep. Venture to natural wonders like Grotte Chauvet 2 or the Pont d'Arc for unforgettable day trips. Sample local cuisine at charming eateries such as La Cantine des Anges and L'O À LA BOUCHE, or sip craft brews at Brasserie BV.
