Amazing location for riding, hiking, and enjoying the Alpes
First the reason for 4 stars versus 5. I review based on the whole experience and don't abjectly give a 1 or 5 star rating. A couple small issues with security and function kept if from being a 5 star review.
The apartment is spacious, inviting, and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the living space was great for relaxing after long rides (which we were there to do). The outdoor seating was perfect with amazing views of the Alpes and some surrounding city. The photos don't do a good job showing how much outdoor seating there is. There is quite a bit and on two sides of the apartment. The apartment is kitted with a great array of cycling memorabilia and paraphernalia. We could tell the owner was an avid cyclist himself. The other feature that was really nice and a little unclear in the listing was the garage space. The bike storage is much larger than it seems in the photos and is secure and accessible only to the owner or renter. Groups could easily fit a half dozen bikes in there safely. There are enough tools to get minor adjustments and air in the tires but if you are building up your bike the tool selection was limited. We only used the main bed and it was comfortable enough. The negatives are that one of the balcony doors won't lock and the "dryer" (French for wall-mount towel warmer) didn't work. All-in-all this was a great stay and the host were easy to work with and provided excellent communication. I'd recommend this to any of my friends
