The hotel, pool area & in particular the restaurant were very pretty. The service was poor though - in particular the owners/managers were incredibly unfriendly & actually made us feel uncomfortable. They didn’t seem happy to have a dog (small and quiet) there even though they said dogs were welcome. She was allowed in the restaurant for breakfast when they weren’t there on the first day but on the second morning my husband was turned away with her. The restaurant food was good but service was incredibly slow. Location was good for attractions, although it is literally on the roadside in the middle of nowhere which seems a bit odd. If it wasn’t for the nice breakfast, dinners & the pool, I would have been incredibly disappointed.

Great place to stopover on way to Spain, pool cocktails and good dinner although not cheap Especially when you try one of their amazing collection of Armagnacs!!!

Full of Gallic charm

Beautiful little hotel full of Gallic charm. I could have stayed in any number of the well known chain of hotels in the larger Bordeaux area, but wanted a more local experience. Didn’t regret for a moment. Quirky but really enjoyable. Great food.

What a beauty!

An Oasis in this typical country village. Welcoming friendly staff, superbly designed and furnished room. Lovely outside eating area with absolutely wonderfully presented food that was superbly cooked using top quality ingredients. Breakfast in the restaurant was again of high quality in lovely surroundings with lovely helpful service. Excellent value, excellent all roun and our dog was welcome too. Will be staying again

Trip Eastern France

At arrival we were greeted and helped in Spanish since our French was minimal. The room was an annex property 25 meters away. The room seemed new and offered bunk beds in a room and a double bed in another room. The bathroom was new. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good but the lack of French language made our steaks come out incorrect. Breakfast was a little priced high for the buffet offered. However I think they offered other menu items but the table menu was only in French.

Great stopover on a road trip

A one night stop over fresh out of Bordeaux airport, a brilliant little place with a great restaurant. Staff were very patient with our rudimentary French. Would stay again!
