Both this property and this host leave a lot to be desired.
Communication from the host was awful - never contacted me upon booking to let me know the pertinent details of the property, tried to send me a bill for my service dog with no communication - would have happily explained had they bothered to ask. I don't remember consenting to being spied on while staying at the property either.
House was filthy. Hardwood floors had dirt, debris, and dead bugs everywhere, clearly hadn't been mopped. Dished left sitting in a drying rack out on the counter. Broom and mop bucket left out, which was entertaining considering they clearly hadn't been used prior to our stay. Walls and floors had no trim or baseboards, leaving gaps everywhere that insulation was coming out of. No switch plates on any of the outlets. Kitchen sink was plumbed backwards. Hole in the bathroom door was covered with a towel - looked like the bathroom scene from The Shining. Awful odor of open sewer as you walked into the back hallway where the bedrooms were indicates there was at least one P trap not functioning or most likely not installed. Entire place looked like an unfinished DIY. Absolutely no idea how this place passed any building codes.
