This hotel was in a great location - across from the train station. We stayed 2 nights and NEVER heard the train. While we didn't take advantage of the Spa, it did look very nice. They went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we desperately needed to do some laundry. We put it in the bag and they said it would be the next day. We went out to walk the town and when we came back our laundry was done and nicely folded on our bed. I've never had that kind of service before! We did eat the breakfast buffet. I would say the food was about what you would expect from a hotel buffet. Hot things were hot and lots of muffins/croissants to choose from. The view from our room was breathtaking - you could see the waterfalls in the valley. I would definitely stay here again!

Very close to chain station of Wengen. It has a small patio that we liked very much.

The hotel is dated and worn. As soon as you enter the hotel, you are hit by the smell of mold. The carpets have not been changed in years. The room was oddly configured and uncomfortable. The bathroom looks as though it has not been updated in 40 years and the smell of mold hits you when you turn on the water. The location is convenient from the train station. Biggest problem is with the town. There is a church in town that rings its bells every hour and half-hour throughout the night. Since there is no AC in the hotel, we had to keep the window open. The church is close enough that the ringing bells woke us throughout the night. Food options in town are very limited. The town is quaint and offers wonderful views, but if you are looking for comfort and a quality hotel, I recommend staying elsewhere.

Stayed here since going to the Jungfrau one day and Germany the other. Perfect spot for both of them. Small quiet village and the hotel was around the corner from the train station. Beautiful views of the alps and recieved an upgraded room when I asked. Breakfast was good. Only down part was no iron and you have to pay to get your clothes ironed. Need less to say I stayed wrinkled.

Staff was nice overall ok but it was hot in the room and no ac

Fabulous location, pool, breakfast, amazing staff - each and every one! Clean Hotel, pool, dining area, basic room. Family friendly, convenient, safe. Incredible views of Alps and Vally from the hotel. Behind the hotel is the lovely townsquare with outdoor pingpong tables, tennis courts, soccer field, giant chess, mini golf and so much more. Wengen does not feel remote or isolated. There are many grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Just a lovely place to make your base for exploring the region.

This hotel is within easy walking distance to the train and to the small number of restaurants in Wengen. The Spa (especially the large pool) just made for an extremely relaxing stay.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was an excellent beginning to a day of hiking in a gorgeous part of the Swiss Alps, and the indoor pool was a nice way to wind down in the evenings. I highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and being the closest hotel to the train station was nice, too. I hope I can go back someday.

The Vic Lauberhorn was fabulous, but during breakfast we found the waiter to be unfriendly and unhelpful. The rest of the staff members were very efficient and helpful, and the facility was immaculate, with great views of the Alps!
