One can deal with aging infrastructure if service is good but neither makes the cut here. We found ourselves in warm weather with the heater on in our room. Attempts to find a solution to the problem, change rooms or get a response from the reception where met with no more than "there is nothing we can do".
We stayed at Le Dune from 26.08-31.08.2016 , the hotel has an amazing sea view , big rooms , great breakfast , but at we have to get up early if u want to eat something. The staff speaks just little english. We can say that it's a 3 stars hotel , not 4 . Needs modernizing. Also a minus is that on the hotel's beach u will receive one umbrella , one sunbed and one chair ... If u want the second sunbed u have to pay extra - hotel's policy. The hotel has also free parking .
The location was fantastic.. Just In front of the beach and a very nice one I would say too. The Staff lovely and professional however it is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. The room was poorly furnished. Old bed and mattress. Toilets were old and not perfectly cleaned. Wife isn't available everywhere. My room for example didn't have enough signal. Business travellers beware.. It is not possible to work. It is a pity anyway.. Just a little of restyling and it would be a great hotel. Although The price of the room is a"4stars hotel" one anyway this is way I was expecting something way different. The restaurant is very disappointing, from the breakfast to the dinner. Poor breakfast and average dinner. I requested "pappardelle allo scoglio" typical local course.. The fish was frozen. it is not acceptable for a place just in front of the sea. I didn't even finished eating it.
This resort is a real trip, quite an experience to say the least. My husband and I are driving down the coast towards Capri on our honeymoon and this was a one night pit stop for us. This hotel is VERY 1970s chic. It definitely hasn't been updated since then. Yet somehow it lends itself to the character of the place. First let me start out by saying this resort is for the elderly holding on to their youth. It's definitely classy in how its operated. The beach is great, well taken care of. There's a bar on the beach so you can be served food and drinks. There's a terrace and random lounge areas to enjoy the sunset. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Except at Dinner. The waiters ran around like chickens without heads. Looked like they were under staffed, could've been an off night. Food was ok, by far nothing special. The whole place was run like a country club from the 70s. We were 1 of 3 young couples there, the other 2 were with their families. This is for a much older crowd. Great for a pit stop, wouldn't go out my way to spend time here.
My wife and I stayed at Le Dune Hotel in Sabaudia for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are very polite and customer service focused. From the check-in to the check-out, we found that the service at Le Dune was second to none. Giovanni in the reception area and his charming wife at the beach bar are the perfect hosts that any customer need to feel at home. Grazie di tutto ragazzi! We'll come back next year! Good place in Sabaudia. Comfortable hotel, nice bar, good restaurant and ceremonies place. May opportunities to be there for many different reason. Leisure, food, and wellness center. There is swimming pool and it's really close to the center of the city
I stayed at this hotel last weekend (12/13 September 2015) after a difficult week at work. I managed to get with early booking a good price for a single room. I was given a very spacious double room with patio and sea view. It was also clean and had many comforts. The hotel is well situated in front of the sea and is very close to the center of Sabaudia as well. It has its own private beach with comfortable seabeds and a beautiful swimming pool. I really enjoyed the aperitivo at the seaside bar and the dinner at the hotel restaurant. At ristorante Le Dune there was a great variety of antipasti, including fish and seafood, which I enjoyed to try all, spending only 20 euros. The breakfast was very good as well, I really enjoyed my cappuccino and croissants with butter and honey at the restaurant with sea view. The staff was all extremely kind and helpful, from the receptionists to the waiters and the lady at the sea bar. I was even offered a taxi drive from the receptionist because I couldn' t find a taxi. Travelling alone, I had the feeling that if I had stayed more, all the staff would become my friends. Compliments from the greek embassy, I am looking forward to return to that place.
This property has an amazing location, right on the beach of Sabaudia. But this is really the only positive thing about it. The facilities show their age and wear, and are badly in need of a refurbishment. Our room was 2 stars standard - at best. The service was mediocre, and the food very far from what you should get in a place like that in Italy. The value for money is terrible, and we will for sure never go back. This was I think my worst hotel experience in Italy. While there, we visited the San Francesco hotel which seems to be a far better option - eventhough it is not on the beach. We had a very good dinner there (as we deserted the restaurant of Le Dune very quickly and looked for alternatives)
We spent 9 days in this hotel. It is located in a very nice area, all rooms have a great view on the sea. The hotel is close to the city center. All staff is very kind and always available to support and address all concerns Great kids club However the hotel needs some investments to upgrade its infrastructure a) Furniture of the room was pretty old b) Wardrobe had a very bad smell c) WiFi was weak d) Good mattresses but we asked for a king size and we got two single bed mattresses tied together e) Rooms' door needs some maintenance
we have chooses Le Dune Hotel based on the information provided on the official website and photos from Google Earth and found it very good and suitable for a long stay here! We have book a week from their website and got a promotion rate. All positive feedback on TripAdvisor are truth and real! We spent a wonderful week with my wife and celebrated here my Birthday in June 2015. Hotel is quiet old, but very clean, with very good staff and house keeping services. Nice beach, sea with clear water, perfect sand, very calm and peaceful atmosphere ... The Hotel has a nice green and flowers territory which is very suitable for relax and freshing... Huge balcony in a seafront rooms are very nice for sunset time and breakfast or dinner taking. But, I suggest to take breakfast in the restaurant and not to order it to room, because of additional charges for service and dishes. In a restaurant it is more choice and perfect espresso and cappuccino ! The beach is very long and suitable for walking. We have enjoyed our holidays in Le Dune hotel during a different weather - sunny and rainy, windy and calmly ...I would recommend the Hotel to any pair for a honeymoon...
