I was extremely disappointed with my stay at The Cromwell. While it may have once had charm, the current condition of the hotel is unacceptable. The decor is severely outdated, with peeling paint and cracked wood throughout the room—definitely not what you’d expect for the price point.
To make matters worse, I was hit with surprise resort fees upon check-in, even though I had already paid for my stay in full. For what, exactly? There’s no room service, the one on-site restaurant closes at 9pm, and the front desk might as well be abandoned. I called multiple times for assistance and got no answer. I literally had to Google information about the hotel I was already staying in. That’s beyond frustrating—it’s flat-out unacceptable.
This was not the Vegas experience I was hoping for. Between the lack of service, limited amenities, and deteriorating facilities, I can confidently say I will not be staying at The Cromwell again. Do better.
