Superbowl Failure

I booked the room in August '23. I was incredibly excited to share a Superbowl experience with friends that were also staying nearby. I would check my VRBO app & look at the room verifiying that my reservation was still there & listing green (booked). No change occured. The night before I left I was preparing to download check in instructions and found no instructions. The Host had canceled the booking, but did not do it through the app. (If the host cancels, they should amend the app, it is not the guests responsibility to cancel.) My trip was completely ruined. No comparable room was available. VRBO has also neglected to respond in a timely manner. Be wary
