It is the place in the capital to relax, where time stands still and where you can do sport any day of the week, wearing a swimming costume, bikini, goggles and snorkel, paddle (beach rackets) or surfboard.It is also a great marine life reserve. Its seabed is home to a thousand types of fish. On land, it is a refuge for walkers, fishermen and surfers. And it has a special peculiarity. This peculiarity is what the locals call "La Barra", a long rocky formation that spreads out not far from the sand and protects a large part of the beach from the tides, transforming it into a natural saltwater pool when the tide is out.
