In a short distance you will find swimming and fishing opportunities. IN the surrounding area there are numerous fishing lakes where you can gain experience and prove your skills. Also put on your walking shoes and discover the many top tours that will delight the whole family and along the paths you can admire the local flora and fauna.

The village castle from the Migration Period, the coal cellar, the remains of the 18th century ironworks, the deer farm and the herb garden are some of the things you can experience in Siljan. Take a trip to Siljan Hjort, here you can watch deer. If you like bird life, you can take a trip to the nature reserve Børsesjø, here you can watch ospreys and other bird species.

The beautiful cottage is located about an hour from Skimore Kongsberg. Here you have several great slopes to frolic on. Also make a trip to the cross-country ski trail, which is about 800 m behind the cabin.
