Only here for one night but i must say there is a very nice atmosphere at this hotel, small and friendly a bit spoilt by the awful cold breakfast. Why do hotels have to load the buffet to bursting point at seven thirty when most guests don't surface until after eight thirty?
5 nights stay at this great hotel. All inclusive. Excellent food and drink. Friendly hard working staff, comfortable beds and spotless rooms. Pool freezing but it is November! Absolutely loved this very much needed break away. Think my sister, niece their partners and mine would all agree we couldn’t fault this lovely hotel. Have to say again the food was amazing. Al la Carte menu as there were not enough guests to lay on a buffet every day but it was amazing. We would all recommend this hotel and would go back tomorrow given the chance.
A truly great summer hotel with the staff being so friendly and wanting to help however, winter in Cyprus gets cold and this hotel does not cater for the AC units dishing out heat rather than cold air. The room each morning was freezing and trying to get hot water from the shower in the evening was impossible. Without doubt a good 3 star hotel in summer but not so from November on.
Stayed for a week early November (off season), found the hotel to be quiet (thankfully). Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and tidy throughout. Room - spacious. Had to pay extra for a fridge (€29/week).. room cleaned daily and towels replaced more than expected also. Continental breakfast was more than sufficient, only gripe was lack of fresh juice (was squash). Did not eat anything else there. (There is an AI option, but we like to get out and about). Bar prices were very reasonable throughout and there was plenty of choice. Although everything was fairly basic, it was perfect for us and just what we wanted. Location a bit out of the way, we had hire car so not an issue - bus service is regular. Would stay here again. Many thanks to all staff for being so friendly and helpful!
We stayed here last week in October 2 couples in our late fifties. The hotel is lovely and clean and all the staff are so friendly. We had a superior room which was given to us on arrival.. very nice and overlooked the pool.. The pool area is peaceful and clean with comfy sun beds. Some days we had the pool to ourselves it was so quite for reading and chilling to relax, just up my street. There is nothing much around the hotel, a bus will take you to Oraklini village where some bars and resturants are a pleasent change as there is not much going on in the hotel, the Cypriot night is a good night, with dancers and music and all the food is laid outside and tables all set. Now the food.... its not great I have to say, which is a shame as this is the only thing letting the hotel down. Normally I would live on the lovely Cypriot salads, but that wasn't to be.. No tomatoes, cheese, ham, tuna, only lettace done 4 ways, mixed potato salad and couscous on some days. The food was only warm and not a great choice.. Breakfast was the best meal of the day... However if you want to pay from the menu then the food is spot on and you wouldn't think it was cooked by the same .chef... We had a late flight home and we asked to keep our rooms on, unfortunately they were booked out to new customers, but they did offer us another 2 rooms until we left the hotel complimentary which was very nice of them and we appreciated that. This hotel is lovely but if your a big foody fan then it might not be for you. Last but not least the hotel has a cat called zara, I dont like cats so for me she was a nuisance, but the hotel staff love her and I suppose one cat is better than having hundreds running all over as I know Cyprus does has a lot of ferrell cats.
If you want a five star 🌟 service pay for it, this hotel 🏩 is only 3 star but worth more than that.. Helpful, friendly, spotlessly clean and tidy.. Breafast is a full English every day, what else do you want, OK Luke warm but I haven't been to a foreign hotel where it hasn't been piping hot.. Plentiful buffet style lunch and dinner always something different. We came AI which we were thankful for, it's expensive to eat and drink here in Cyprus. A few helpful tips We are here in Nov, it gets dark at 4,30 The pool is deep 6ft and not poss unsuited to a really young family even the kids pool is 2 ft. A lot of Russians stay here, but they are gone by early morning, and nearly all week we have had the whole pool and hotel to ourselves.. And the worst thing, the local beach, it's awful, definitely go to larnaca to the beach there, sandy and huge with loads of sun beds, Mcdonalds, burger King, KFC But avoid a Sunday all the shops are shut, 1.50 euro, aya Napa is the other way but 42 miles away If you want a good service then you won't go far wrong here.. we've had worse 4 + 5*services..
Just back from staying at this hotel. It’s a lovely hotel very clean and the staff are lovely. Bedrooms a good size, we got upgraded on arrival to a superior room. Cleaned and new towels every day. There are no draws in the rooms only wardrobe space.... the food is not too good. We were all inclusive but we were wishing we had booked room only. Every meal we had was not hot and had very little choice. Breakfast was about the best, same everyday tho. At lunch time the salad bar consisted of 4 bowls of lettuce, olives, potato salad and mayo. No tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, ham or fish. The hot food was very limited and quite often food that was left from last night. Dessert was hard fruit. The evening meal wasn’t any better but at least you got a choice of either profiteroles or small choc eclairs with the fruit. If you are willing to pay for food picked from a menu the food is much better, you wouldn’t think it had been made in the same kitchen.... the nearest restaurants are about 15 mins away so not easy to eat out.
I have booked the stay for my mother and she was very happy about it. The hotel is small but very cosy. The sea is not far away and the pool area is comfortable. My mother especially empathized that the room was very clean and the staff was helpful all the time.
I have just spent 10 days at the Sveltos Hotel. I went All Inclusive The hotel itself is marvellous. All the staff are friendly. I had a pool facing room and it was fairly quiet and guests who were facing the road said they never heard traffic . The pool and surroundings were very clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds. The food wasn't much to my liking but ok. There was always something I liked, at least it wasn't chips with everything like some hotels. I found breakfast the best meal and Mexican night and Oriental night were good but that is just my opinion I don't like food from every country same as some people won't like the meals I had. I didn't have any of the bar meals but I was told they were good. Ice cream is there at the bar whenever you want it. The rooms are cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every 3rd day. Mine were even changed the day before I came home. I did go down to the beach which is a bit pebbley but walking along there was some sandy beach. All in all I enjoyed this hotel and would go again. The only black spot were the diggers in the lot next door to the hotel and no-one was warned about this, it did drone on a bit .. I can't comment on the gym as I didn't use it If you are booked to go here then you will enjoy it x
Went to this hotel 20 Sept for 10 nights, the staff are all very welcoming and the hotel and its pool is spotless, rooms cleaned every day and laundry done every 3, location is probably the worst bit, but a short bus ride will take you to Larnaca centre, which is great lots of bars restaurants and shops to keep you amused, recommend going into Ayia Napa well worth the veiws as well as st Hilarion castle in Kyrenia Kalesi the Turkish side and the Amphitheater in Paphos.
