First few days we had few problems first night when we arrived no one help us for luggages 3 big 2 small luggages plus 2 prams 2 kids , next day no water for a while then electricity gone off after 2 days everything was very good I would reccomend it

I spent many summers at Sveltos as a kid, before the management switched hands. I went the other day with my family and had a lovely time. The swimming pool was very clean and the food was very tasty. Overall, a positive experience!

We stayed at the Sveltos Hotel for five nights, as a treat from my wife for my 40th birthday. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by the receptionist on duty. In general most of the Sveltos staff were quite friendly in the bar and on reception. Safety deposit boxes were available in the rooms but at a cost for the key (though not a ridiculous cost to be fair). Pool towels were available to hire at reception for 10 euros, though after using it on the first day and realising it didnt cover most of the sunbed (they were really small for 'pool towels'), we decided to return them and get our own. A fridge in my opinion is a necessity in any Cyprus hotel (they've been in rooms in the other hotels I've stayed in), for obvious reasons, though at the Sveltos you need to request one to be put into your room, again at a cost of course. The breakfast wasn't very inspiring in all fairness, both in the selection available and the fact that the temperature of the 'hot' food was never beyond luke warm. The coffee from their machine was nice though! The lunch at the pool bar (off the menu, not all inclusive buffet) was tasty and there were good traditional Cypriot dishes on offer, but again on the two occassions we ate lunch there, there were issues with the temperature of their food (chips and vegetables being nowhere near hot enough) and we had to ask for the food to be replaced with hot food. The worst part of this hotel was the bed (we stayed in a Superior Room)...we genuinely woke up every morning with backache, which you don't expect when staying in any hotel in any country. We spoke to another resident there who was of the same opinion about their bed. The best part of this hotel is their swimming pool! Whilst not very large, it was never overly busy and crowded, despite the hotel seeming to be fairly busy with guests and we didn't once have to play the 'claim a sunbed at 6am by putting a towel down' game, which was great to avoid and defeats the object of being on holiday! Maybe many of the guests preferred to visit the beach instead which was approx 5mins away. On our last morning, we were about to have a shower prior to departing for a night in the Troodos Mountains but the water in the hotel had stopped. To be fair, this does happen in Cyprus at times and can't be put down to the hotel's maintenance, but it was pretty bad timing and upon check out when we asked for the possibility of a small reduction to our total bill, we were told by reception that as there was no hotel management on site at that time, our request could not be considered or actioned. All in all a mixed bag and we wouldn't return to the Sveltos Hotel in the future, despite the relaxed swimming pool environment which is better than that of nearby 4-star hotels. Whilst the cost of staying here was not extortionate, there are a host of extras to be paid if you want/need certain facilities which up to this point I felt were standard in hotels in warm countries.

I really loved this hotel. The service from the staff was amazing and they really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. One of the staff members sofia was always smiling which made my stay at the hotel even better. Both panayiota's were also always smiling which was nice to see. All of the staff had amazing service and I will definitely be coming back to stay for my next holiday.

Great hotel, staff are very welcoming and easy to get along with. I have made some good friends here and I'll definitely come back. The bartender Antonis is a good guy and also good at pool, will be back for a rematch. All the staff behind the bar are nice and very friendly. The receptionist (Katerina) is by far the best I've met, very helpful 😊 You can't forget Zara the cat! Zara the cat is family now 😂

For the price range this was the best hotel I've stayed at yet. The staff were all so lovely and couldn't help you enough. I will definitely return to sveltos the hotel is decorated well, the pool area and reception and our room was so beautiful. Can't comment on the food (all inclusive) as we just had bed and breakfast but that was fine no different to anywhere else I've been it's edible. We did order some food on a few occasions from the menu and that was really tasty! Unless you want to sit around the pool for most of your holiday you will need a hire car there are things in close proximity of the hotel but if in car 2 minutes or a 45 min walk, all of the hotels around this area are the same though. Thanks again sveltos me and partner had a lovely relaxing holiday!

Flew out on 28th June 2017... with our flight being slightly delayed we hope we could grab a quick bite to eat at the hotel and this refreshing drink people have mentioned... we had nothing, so we left the hotel and went to a restaurant a few 100 metres away and the food was delicious. The breakfast is the best meal... hash browns, friend eggs, scrambled eggs/omelettes and boiled eggs, sausages and all but one day bacon. (Also had cold meats and cheeses, cereals and toast and melon). Dinner was limited choice and mostly tasty, but could do with signs to let you know what you are eating, rather than guessing. Tea was the same... Cyprus night was the best, it was outside and beautifully hosted. Mexican night was slimited, BBQ night was indoors, Italian was nothing spectacular but the carbonara was delicious. Puddings weren't much always melon and the odd days mini chocolate eclairs. The hotel is very tiny and never busy so was perfect for a chilled out week! The staff sometimes struggled with understanding English but was polite and tried there best! It was a cost of €10 to Larnaca and about 2 mile but buses run locally off the main road... buses also run to Ayia Napa and the cost of taxi is €35. Not much around hotel and the beach is pebbly so take some aqua shoes to go into the sea! But there is a place called Gala beach... comfy sun beds with a bit of sand. (We went to Larnaca, beach was beautiful, sea was shallow for around 100 metres and not big drops and it was as warm as a bath)! There is a few restaurants and a few souvenir types shops and one where you can buy anything such as deodorant etc. The poolside was quiet and lovely, Saturdays seemed to have the locals in and Sunday was very hectic with the locals. Getting served for a drink was fine until the end of the week where it slowed down and the bar staff seemed to go for the Ines paying for the drinks, rather than those all inclusive. All inclusive starts at 10am and finishe at 11pm. For what we paid... it was very good. But I love Cyprus! Always done Paphos, but both as good as each other!

Visited in June 2017 with friend. Very welcoming on arrival with fresh juice while checking in. Room was twin room, not overlooking the pool. Room a decent size, spotlessly clean, nice bathroom, and small balcony to front. Air conditioning very quiet (pleasant surprise). My only criticism (mild) there is no fridge to keep water or drinks cold (you can rent for 29 Euros per week), you also have to pay to use the room safety deposit box. We booked half board, and the breakfast menu is large with ample to choose from and great quality. Evening dinner menu just as good with a very large selection of food. No drinks with dinner (not even water, unless you buy from bar), which disappointing. Drinks free if you go fully inclusive but as I don't eat much at lunch this is why I chose half board. The pool is large and great area with plenty of loungers. The hotel has plenty of area to chill out in, bar is great, prices reasonable, and occasional entertainment provided. Distance from Larnaca is 7km so you need to take a half hourly bus from nearby, or a taxi if late at night. Overall the hotel, the staff are great and it really is good value for money. It is somewhere I would stay again.

This hotel is a very pleasant surprise with what you can get for a fair amount of money. I will start with the nice welcoming that the lady at the reception desk, Mona, has made to us, greeting us with lemonade and offering as much information as possible. The room is perfect, with a very nice view. The pool area is really great. Breakfast offers a wide variaty of delicious dishes, all fresh, all tasty. A la carte lunch offers a great deal of international menu. The only thing that could go better would be to have sound proof windows, especially in the front of the road since the area has quite busy traffic. All in all, thank you Mona, Ioulianna and all other ladies at the bar for accomodating us and making us feel ultra welcome.

Its a nice hotel with no frills. Very nice swimming pool. Rooms are big but luck of storage spaces! No drawers only wardrobe ! Breakfast is ok but evening meal you have to be there early because if you you get there say about 9pm food doesn't look very nice ! No exciting meal more less the same food every night apart from Thursday night (Cypriot night) they do BBQ which is good. Also you have to go to the bar and buy your own water , because they dont even give you a free water with the meal. Which I found really bad. I can understand alcohol but water surely they can give it free. Staff is very nice n friendly.
