Stayed around mid April which is outside the busiest season. The hotel was very quiet and calm. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks. Theres not much to do around the hotel but we weren't looking for that either. Excellent place to relax and sunbathe.

We were met with a welcome drink on arrival, very refreshing. Our room overlooked the road but has the benefit of morning sunshine. We stayed all inclusive and didn’t have to use a plastic glass for our entire stay. There was plenty of choice at each meal, rather than a buffet at lunch we had a choice from a menu, I counted 15 different main courses and if we wanted to be out exploring this allowed us to have a freshly cooked meal ordered at 2.30pm. The bar staff were all very friendly as were reception, the whole hotel is very clean and a nice size having only about 40 rooms. We didn’t bring pool towels but for 20 Euro deposit we had clean ones whenever we wanted. Plenty of sun beds too. All in all a really relaxing holiday but lots of information available allowing us to use local buses. Also a good WiFi service throughout the hotel to keep in touch with home. We hope to return. And for those of you who need it wall to wall English football matches on sky but easily avoided if that suits you.

Just back from staying at The Sveltos hotel for a week . The hotel is immaculate , the rooms are cleaned every day .The meals were much the same every night chicken , pork or fish but were nice .The breakfast was traditional English every morning but as much as you could eat . The pool area is lovely as is the bar and theres any live football you want in the lounge / bar area . The staff were excellent and gave 110% . Ideal hotel if you want a relaxing holiday by the pool .The town is only 2 minutes on local bus and there is a stop right outside hotel . The beach is only are 2 minute walk as well . Really enjoyed our stay and would go back ps Aircon in all rooms which you need in Cyprus !

Staff were excellent, definitely a big plus! While it's quite a bit outside Larnaca, there is a bus from the top of the road every 15 minutes for €1.50 that takes you right to towm! €10 deposit needed for towels which isn't an issue! Met the owner who was also very helpful, recommending a beautiful restaurant a few minutes drive away. Easy to organise taxis etc. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and looked very inviting (it was a bit cold to sit by!).

Yes it is 3+km from Larnaca, but it does not pretend it isn’t. We hired a car for 3 days which we used to take us into Larnaca to eat in the evenings. We had 3 days without a car and managed very well walking 1km up the road eating in local tavernas and a very cool Cafe Nero! There is a regular bus into Larnaca if needed. It is a 3* hotel with 5* staff. Every member of staff we came across was friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The ‘odd’ numbers are to the back of the hotel and have a great view of the pool and plenty of afternoon sun. The pool is clean as is the surrounding area. There was a covered bar providing drinks and food and music played quietly all day. We were on ‘bed and breakfast’ only which we like as we can eat out locally in the evening. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was topped up regularly whilst we were there! All in all we felt for a relaxing poolside holiday this place was great and would come back again for late winter sun!

If you have a car, the Hotel is perfect. Its few minutes away from the marina of Larnaca. easy access. Calm neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful, at the reception or at the bar, very good service. The room was really good, with a view on the pool and on the small lake. Passing some time on the pool, with the music from the bar, a cold drink, and birds flying around... simply relaxing. One problem: all channels on TV are in Greek. even Euronews is in Greek!

As we had a flight arriving in Larnaca in the evening but were basing our Cypriot holiday in Paphos, we decided to stay the first night in the Sveltos hotel. A one night's stay makes it difficult to judge the place fairly, but any opinion is furthered clouded by the fact that when we arrived the receptionist could not find details of our reservation (the booking agency's fault?). Luckily I was able to show her the email confirmation and a room was therefore found for us. The room itself was comfortable enough and the interior of the hotel seemed quite pleasant. We never saw much of the surroundings as we arrived after dark, but from the little we did see next morning I would agree with those who have said that it is not in a particularly attractive area. Breakfast was reasonable with quite a varied choice, though the cooked items could have been hotter. Apart from the problem with the reservation (or perhaps because of it), however, the main impression I got was that there was no effort made to welcome us as guests, e.g. after eventually checking in, we were given no information apart from the room number and the presence of the lift. We weren't informed whether there was still food available nor asked if we would like a drink. Overall, therefore, we were glad that we were only staying for one night.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel was very contemporary and clean. Our room was very comfortable and ample size and was cleaned to a high standard each day. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little out of the way but the local buses stop outside the hotel and are quite regular only 1.50 euro per journey. Breakfast plenty of chouce. Hot food cold though. Too much put out to early . The all inclusive program was more of a half board package with drinks. No buffet only choice was a bar menu each night but the food was good limited choice though. Only annoyance was getting a drink the bar was not manned all the time had to go to the reception for them to call somebody to the bar The swimming pool is of a good size and plenty of sunbeds.only problem had to ask the reception to get somebody to empty the over flowing bin which was done within minutes .Hotel is still ongoing renovation so is a little noisy from the drilling. Would definitely stay here again great value for money.

Bad points. 1) Location. Middle of nowhere, you will need a car. Surrounding area littered, seen same dead cat at side of road all week. Derelict abandoned buildings right outside hotel. No beach, just pebbles on dirty, littered shoreline. £10 euros each way to Larnaca town. 2) Towels only changed every 3 days. 3) Poolside dirty, bins not emptied all week 4) All inclusive, not all inclusive. Limited choice of cocktails on all inclusive. No snack bar, breakfast always cold. No pints served on all inclusive, you can only have half??? A la carte for lunch but evening meal buffet. It should be the other way around. 5)Building work being carried out so drilling noise when sat trying to have your evening meal. Good points: Bar staff. Amazing. This was this hotels saving grace. Reception staff, some of them need lessons in customer service as quite standoffish. Now I know this was an out of season holiday, and appreciate not fully staffed etc., but it was still my holiday in which I should have been treated the same as any other customer. Would not return for this reason.

Terrible hotel - the worst food we have ever had on holiday . Management not interested in sorting any of our complaints . All inclusive not worth the extra cost - on most nights they did not open the restaurant so we had to sit at the lounge tables which were not conducive to eating at - several firsts achieved by this hotel 1 - Because of the very restrictive choice have I got to have a burger for an evening meal . The same restrictive menu on offer for both lunch and dinner ! 2- When the restaurant was open ( and at each breakfast ) no plates were ever cleared, they waited until you had finished the whole meal 3- At every meal in the restaurant the food was placed in the buffet dishes at 18.15 under hot lamps , by the time we came to eat it was cold and had dried up . Definite health issue . 4- at every meal you had to collect your cutlery , the only time a table had been laid up was a private party on Sat 17 Feb - which we could not attend . No wonder prices are being heavily discounted at this time
