Two summer vacations in Lordos are among the best travels I ever had. Excellent service, friendly staff, clean, right on the beach with all amenities, close to Larnaka, tasty food and interesting evening animations. May seem crowded, but it's quiet and everything goes smooth. Would come back third time!
I stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel with a group. Rooms so nice and clean . Internet is very good every where in the hotel. Breakfast is so good . Staff so helpfull. The only disadvanage is the location is far away from the city center Dr. Ayman Abouelfetouh
A quiet relax holiday in an beautiful atmosphere. Very helpful staff and excellent food Beautiful sea views and you can hear the sea waves and the air They are going to upgrade and renovate it so be the first to book an unforgettable 2018 holidays
I stayed here for a week and the food is amazing can't fault it, the rooms however are dated and Mold was in the bathroom. We have been told that there is going to be a renovation in December. View from the balcony is amazing! Nice pools, friendly staff. You must get a hire car if not you'll be stuck in the hotel for your whole stay, we drove across the whole island going Aphrodite bath & to Limassol & paphos & famagusta then in to Ayia napa before heading back to hotel. Roads are easy to drive one. If I were to come back to Cyprus I would only stay in this hotel if I didn't plan on travelling about. The bar opposite called skylight is the place to be friendly bar staff and amazing cocktails 🍹
Excellent resort style hotel right on the beach outside Larnarca Cyprus. It is in a beautiful setting southeast of the city and has wonderful pools and a large beach and access to multiple restaurants along the main beach road. The hotel is also very reasonable. The rooms are a bit dated and not all of them have excellent views but overall this is a very reasonable hotel option outside of the main port city in the country of Cyprus
The room we were allocated had a small balcony with side sea views. The room was quite large with twin beds, a free gratis fridge, flat TV and wooden floors with a small table and chairs. The bathroom was also quite large with a full size bath, shower unit with complimentary toiletries. As our room included breakfast we enjoyed a full all you can eat buffet every morning. The choices seemed to cater for all nationalities with a choice of a full English style, varied omelettes, waffles, pancakes cooked to order. Scandinavian choices of ham, cheeses hard boiled eggs salted fish etc. There were also choices of cereals, yogurts, juices. A special mention to our head waitresses, Pandelitsa, who was outstanding. She really made our breakfast morning so successful by her never ending personal attention in ensuring that everything was on hand and to our liking. She deserves a medal for enduring the many different cultures and personal needs. On the opposite scale we found that one of the waiters, who had been working there for the last decade or so, really made sure everyone stayed awake by crashing cups and saucers in to the dispensers, dragging tables and chairs across the marble floors and generally making everyone stressed by his insensitive noisy habits. It appears that the management have addressed this problem with him but to no avail. If you are on holiday you just want a relaxing peaceful atmosphere not surrounded by a fast food restaurant environment. The only other gripe was the noise being made by guests above who were dragging their chairs across the wooden floors but this kind of action seems to be prevalent in many hotels these days. To conclude, the hotel does have some very tired areas such as worn carpets etc but I was informed that they were having a major refurbishment starting December 2017 and I hope they include tea/coffee making facilities for all rooms. Many good restaurants and shops near by. Regular local bus services to Larnaka just outside the hotel.
Found the location a little isolated. Was about 20 mins from the airport. Suggest pre-book George's Taxis in advance for good deal. No shops nearby hotel so a bit captive to hotel prices. Though bus stop nearby. Thought not advertised they had a Happy Hour in the bar in the evenings.
We had a large attractive room with a simply incredible view - sunrises are really beautiful on Cyprus. The hotel staff, especially reception are very pleasant and always friendly. Breakfast is excellent with a good selection of fruit and cereals. There is a good selection of cooked breakfast dishes as well as a varied selection of cold meats and accompaniments. Clean pool towels are available everyday at no extra charge, these could also be taken to the beach. There are plenty of sun beds (free of charge) available at the hotel private beach, which was lovely and deep. The beach bar serves attractive snacks and a good variety of drinks and beverages at a reasonable cost. Extremely easy to travel around the island using the bus, as bus stop is located directly outside the hotel. Also, mid - October is just perfect part of the year for visiting Cyprus. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff are generally very good, friendly and efficient. The suite rooms are comfortable, well appointed and have good sized balconies. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners always offer a good selection of well presented tasty food. Yesterday 4 of us had a bar meal, and it was probably amongst the worse meals that I have ever tried to eat! We were only at the hotel for the day for a conference. We ordered Club Sandwiches. One with no tomato as our friend is allergic to them. It arrived with a tomato garnish on a small toothpick stick. The order took 50 minutes to arrive. We were the first in the bar to order food at 12 midday. We asked for tomato ketchup, which never arrived. My chiabatta lamb club was a hard brown bread roll, soggy undercooked chips with black bits over them. (dirty cooking oil?). Everyones chips were the same and we all left them. I politely complained and our plates were removed. I mentioned the missing tomato ketchup. We paid full price with no offer of any refund/credit. Sadly, on our next visit we will not be ordering a bar meal. Several small restaurants outside near by.
I arrived at night, knowing that I had already booked & paid via a travel agent a sea-view single room. We were a group and had a wedding to attend the next day. I was given a maid's room, with 4 double beds, no place to walk in the room, no place to set suitcases & luggage, electricity & Air condition did not work. I asked the receptionist about this, he said that's all they have left, I did say & show a confirmation of the booking I had paid for weeks earlier to arrival. They suggested to change my room for the night, then to have me check out again the next morning to the room I had actually booked. I was there for a wedding & the knew that the next day I wouldn't be at the hotel, because supposedly they had aligned with the travel agent who had booked us this hotel. It took us 48 hours out of the 74 hours that I was there to sort this issue out, and I was only there for 3 days & a half. It was nerve wrecking and very unpleasant to talk the receptionist who didn't want to cooperate in any way, even though it was my right, I had a booking that I had paid for, and they knew that very well. I did tell them I was going to leave a realistic review, only then did they offer me a decent room, which they said I could stay in and not have to move out again and pack again the next morning. But the next morning I was asked to leave the room, because it was a "suite" and even though I told them that's not what I asked for, that they gave me the room and said I shouldn't move again, and after a long episode of stress and translation issues, I stayed in that "suite" room, after I paid lots of international calls to the travel agent, and the hotel management for 3 days... and here's the review I promised... If you're willing to disregard the hassle of unprofessional-ism, bad organization, and lack of etiquette in addressing a traveling guest, then the hotel's location is alright, the beach is nice, and the beach bar serves a good meal for an affordable price, and the Spa offers a good selection of professional massages, the rest of the staff is actually nice. Good luck!
