My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days in April and we’re mostly pleased with what we got. The apartments themselves are a bit far from the beach, but the shuttle buses that come 3 times a day are free which is good or it takes about 20mins to walk there. The room we had was okay and did the job, consisting of a lounge area, table, small kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom. I’ve seen many people complaining about cockroaches but we mainly saw lots of big moths in our room! The pool area was good, we were in the secondary apartments across the road which were a lot quieter than the first ones, although the pool itself was freezing! Service at the bar wasn’t great, quite slow and it seemed as if we were an inconvenience at times, especially when ordering food, though this was better in the actual restaurant. I’d recommend these apartments for people who just want to come and go as they please and enjoy walking and seeing the sights.

We stayed in the Tabaiba apartments last year and have been talking about it since. We really enjoyed ourselves, and the staff were super helpful. Heime, behind the bar always knew what we wanted, and Rosanna was more than helpful. The breakfast was lovely and always enough. The apartment itself was huge, and very clean. Fresh towels everyday. Tabaiba is not in the center of the resort, which means that it is quiet at night. Thank God, We were probably the latest guests coming and going at 11ish. Never a problem with booking taxis or returning hire cars. The pool was a nice size and there was plenty of pool side seating. My kids were playing football with some of the other guests one of the days and I watched the lifeguard move their improvised goals, I thought "Here we go..." trouble to follow, but he was making sure the goals were the same size. We love Tabaiba, and will def go back. Book directly with them and save some money.......

Apartment We were in a 1 bed appt which had a pool view (unfortunately on the wrong side) but got no sun at all so the appt felt quite chilly all the time. However it was spacious and cleaned to a good standard. I'm not sure of the number, it was 9 hundred and something. As you came out of reception onto the pool area you turned left after the toilets up a flight of stairs and it was the first one you came to. If you looked out of the kitchen window you looked onto the road outside the appts Calle Pitaras. The appt had toaster, kettle, microwave, hob, only one plug though so take a small extension lead. It didn't have scissors or a chopping board. Luckily it had a corkscrew. Supermarket There is a really good big Spar about 3/4 mile away. Turn right out of the appts, walk straight up the road, past the tennis/basketball court on the left, keep going til you see the children's play park on the right. Straight after this turn left. The spar is at the bottom of the road on the right. After that walk a beer goes down well, and there is a little bar on the left. Ideal! Location These appts a quite a fair walk from the main area of costa teguise. Fifteen - twenty minutes gets you to playa bastion but costa teguise is a further 15-20 mins. Facilities/pool area/bar/ restaurant etc The pool area for the appts is quite small with limited sun beds (freezing pool - I went in one day) but clean. We ate breakfast in the restaurant one morning, it was ok but nothing to shout about. Reception staff are nice and will ring taxis for you. €3.60 to get to the main square in costa teguise. There is a courtesy bus. 10am, 12 noon and 4.30pm, which takes you into town. Where it drops you off, you can get the number 3 bus to Puerto del Carmen. You can book the Sunday market trip with reception which is worth doing as it is a lovely big market with a few little bodegas to get lunch and beer, wine etc. The market is really popular and great prices. The coach picks you up at 10 or 11 am and brings you back at 3pm. €6 pp return. Costa Teguise Beer prices in costa teguise €2 pint, in Puerto del Carmen €1.5. Reasonable amount of bars and restaurants to choose from, but a lot of pasta/pizza places, serving mainly Italian food Costa teguise is very windy, much more so than other resorts on the canaries we have stayed in. We stayed there 17-24 march. To be honest I probably wouldn't return to these appts, but not because I don't like them, it's more because it's just a bit too breezy . However they are great value for money if can get them for a good price. I paid £600 for me and hubby including flights and transfers and luggage with travel republic

A great little hotel on the outskirts of town. Clean, calm and well managed. A short walk to the sea and a bit further to shops and a big beach. If that's a problem then they provide a bus service at certain times of the day. If we are back in the area we would certainly stay again at the Tabaiba.

Nothing really to say about this hotel perhaps this says it all. Everything was "nice'. I had a studio room (only ground floor and above) studio was surprisingly big l was S/Catering everything you needed, only thing I would complain about was, no bedside lights (waking up in a dark room forgetting where the toilet is) also there is no selves in the bathroom to put your things . It's not for families apart from the pool nothing. These are free buses to to center /beach, you can walk to the centre about 20 minutes which l enjoy but hey ho that's not for everyone

Stayed for a week self catering. Very basic but good sized apartment. Kitchen lacked chopping board and bowl for salads but all else ok. Coffee pot leaked so a replacement arrived quickly. Place very clean and tidy. Staff welcoming and helpful. Pool too cold to go in but sun loungers in use around the pool. No heating in rooms or air con. Beds reasonable, quite firm. Spare blankets and pillows provided. Good balcony overlooking rocks so nice to see hoopoes and chiffchaffs around the scrub land. Nice view of sea. Took about 20 mins to walk down to Costa Bastian beach - nice walks along the prom to Costa Teguise for lunch and a dip in the little coves along the way. Lovely to watch the waves crashing in during a windy day, beautiful sea colours. All in all the Tabaiba is clean and basic. Good for some light meals and as a base to explore. Oh and the tv just had sky in English-so we got all the UK news we needed.

We stay here often and are always in the apartments in the main building which are clean. I also made a cat friend, we called him Rommel. Sadly the Wi-Fi you still have to pay for. It's €20 for 4 days for 5 devices. The food at the hotel is okay for a snack at lunch time but I wouldn't recommend eating dinner there.

We used the safe on this holiday and our second last day we couldn’t open it and went to reception to report it . After waiting an hour someone came to fix it and we went out to enjoy our day.The next day when we opened the safe there was money missing and when we approached reception they didn’t want to know and said it was impossible to open with out the code.we were most disappointed with the way they handled the situation but as it was our last day decided to put it down to experience

stayed hear with family for 10 days, we have been coming to lanzarote every year for 10 years now, this was the first time at this apt' on arrival the receptionist was very friendly, checked us in quite quickly, & she really was lovely, we had to have two rooms as there was 7 of us, & to be fair they did put us quite close to each other, one group in room 308, us in 205... the rooms are lovely and have plenty space, the kitchen was well equipped with what we needed, the shower stayed hot the whole time you were in it, (always a bonus!!). The beds? oh deer god.. most uncomfortable beds EVER even the kids complained, although my mum had a double bed in her apt' & she said that one was OK, also my room was freezing, i think maybe it was because it was a top floor & it was quite windy while we were there, again my mum on a lower floor said hers was ok, the apartments were very quiet compared to others we have stayed in, & for all the staff were very friendly the atmosphere was flat, maybe because we were there out of season? who knows, i do want to mention this "10" min walk to the town... haha 10 mins for Linford Christie maybe! more like 30 mins if you know were your going!! there is however a bus.. but we had an electric wheelchair for my mum, and also a manual for my daughter, so the bus wasn't ideal for us, & the roads/walkways weren't very good for wheelchair users (totally different to main town) Ive given this hotel/apt' 3 stars because it is one of the better ones we have stayed in with regards to the rooms & how nice they were, if this hotel was in center of town, & got some new beds it would be a 5* for me.

I stayed at the complex in January this year lasting only one night before leaving and paying for another aparthotel.for the rest of my holiday. Firstly do not be taken in by the lovely picture on the TUI website, on being allocated our room we were told how to get there by the receptionist - we walked through the white turreted area up a flight of stairs across a road and into another complex which was bare of any gardens etc only a tiled square surrounded by 2 storey concrete boxes which were the apartments. The first apartment we were allocated was bare except for a television padlocked to the wall, 2 settees and a table and 4 chairs, the only form of decoration was human hair in the fridge, the patio doors were secured by 2 door safety chains which rattled with the wind blowing through the gaps. The second apartment had 2 camp metal beds, no light in the bedroom at all , the fridge freezer door was missing which resulted in the milk and soft drinks becoming frozen solid, the kettle was leaking and the settee was badly soiled. The third apartment had very obviously been burgled, the outside door lock of the patio door had a hole in the side of the lock which could be opened with a knife or screwdriver, this explains all the televisions being padlocked to the walls. I have stayed in several other aparthotels in Costa Teguise and know what to expect from a 3 star rated apartment they are all mostly the same - in need of an upgrade and a little bit tired but clean, safe for guests and with a holiday welcoming feel, NOT the TABAIBA it does not rate any star.
