Stayed for 7 nights. Apartments are very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant has an extensive menu and is excellent value for money. Andrew and his team are a credit to the resort. If you are not a Diamond member you can rent a towel for 4 euros a week wi fi is 7 95 for 24 hours free to members. Will definitely return.

Wanted a convenient (ie not too long a flight) guaranteed sunny, winter break. It was between Abu Dhabi and the Canary Islands and we were not disappointed with the Lanzarote choice. Firstly the island is amazing, the roads look like they have been laid out through fields of broken Oreo biscuits, quite unexpected scenery (did no prior research!!). Also we were a bit wary of Lanzarote's poor British reputation and we were pleasantly surprised to find that this seems to have changed a lot. This resort and part of the island were really family friendly. Secondly Les Jardines was a very relaxed place to stay. Maria and the team were super helpful and always on hand to help out or advise with regards to what to do at the resort or on the island. The accommodation is really well appointed. It gives you the flexibility to either stay in and cook your own meals or the option to go down to the restaurant area. The food is very British clientele focussed (this suited us as we live in Belgium ;-)), but if you want more traditional Canarian fare then you should probably head out into the town area. With regards things to do; we did the Jameos del Agua - (nice to see but quite limited), the Mirador del Rio (great view, but make sure it is not foggy) and the National park (get there early if you are in a hire car otherwise take a taxi). All in all a great place to stay, very friendly people and fab weather - would very much recommend!

We previously stayed here in October 2014 and loved it so much we decided to come again. The site itself is so well looked after with immaculate grounds and facilities. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Since we were last there they have refurbished the pool bar into a bar and restaurant and it does flow much better. The pools are lovely but are now looking a bit tired but I believe they are being retiled in May. It is definitely such a nice blend between a hotel and an apartment complex. The 'apartments' are actually semi detached villas with a full kitchen and living room with private terrace including sun loungers. They do have a kind of kids club but this is definitely for older kids as they take them to play mini golf and shuffleboard etc. The food served in the restaurant is lovely but a little bit expensive compared to some of the local eateries. I would definitely recommend a walk or taxi to casa Joaquín where there are some shops and restaurants with sea views. You can order take away food from the restaurant on site for you to collect from the restaurant which is great. And you can charge items to your room as well. This is great for unplanned ice creams and drinks. You can bring your own food and drinks to the pool as well. We had a packed lunch a couple of days. You can book excursions on site but we didn't as they are quite expensive. One we did look at was rancho Texas park but glad we didn't as we drove past it on the way to the airport and it was too small to provide a full days entertainment. In terms of the apartment locations there really isn't a bad one. They all look and feel private and are well placed within the grounds. The WIFi is not included unless you are a diamond resorts member and is charged at 7.50 euros a day but that is for either 4,6 or 8 devices depending on the apartment or villa size you are staying in. For me it is definitely worth it as it works well all around the site including the pool and in the apartments. The TV channels are now more restricted than before with only BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV and PICK being available in English. I wouldn't book here if you are looking for lively, it's really laid back with people pretty much keeping to themselves and a lot of older guests. If you do stay here I would definitely recommend the pig racing and quiz night. Great fun for all the family. Was our best night there both stays!

I've been invited with a friend and so far it's a fantastic holiday. The apartments are really well equipped and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant are lovely. You can get taxis outside very easily to pop down to Playa Blanca. I've had a super time sunbathing by the pool today and would recommend this complex to anyone.

We have just returned from a lovely two week stay in a two bedroomed bungalow at Jardines del Sol. The accommodation was spacious with a full kitchen which included a washing machine, dish washer & full size fridge. A welcome pack provided on arrival included,a bottle of water, carton of milk, some tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar,& dishwasher tablets. Rooms serviced regularly with changes of bedding & towels. Also pool towels and wifi available. All the staff were friendly, courteous, efficient & helpful. The grounds are lovely & well kept. Two pools a on split levels with a pool attendant & inflatables for the children's pool. Restaurant/ Pool bar offers takeaway service & some speciality nights. We were offered an extra service as our son joined us for the first week & friends for the second week. Twenty minute walk to nice beach called Playa Flamingo & thirty minutes to Playa Blanca but plenty of free parking. Well done to all the staff at Jardines del Sol & thank you for making our holiday so good.

what a lovely surprise to come to these apartments, they are immaculate, the pool i lovely, they have an excellent policy of not putting towels on sun loungers when no occupying them, so it means you can always get one! The staff are delightful and so helpful in every aspect. The apartments are beautiful and have every imaginable mod con but we did not bother cooking so only made breakfast. the patio is lovely with sun loungers table and chairs, there was large tv but never switched them on. Its a 25 minute pleasant walk to town or cheap taxis are available. Plenty free parking. The best apartments we have ever stayed at more like a very high quality hotel!

Beautiful surroundings and a first class accommodation. We have used the villa for 10 people with two double and two twins as well as three bathrooms. As always with diamond resorts we have visited the whole resort is fantastic and well looked after. The staff are always more than helpful

Stayed here for two weeks as our main summer holiday last year. The top pool was frequently closed, missing tiles making it dangerous and one child ended up in cutting his foot and having to be carried off to hospital. Although, some of that was just that kids seemed to be running wild around the pool area all day/night, which admittedly the hotel itself can't do too much about. The apartments weren't cleaned as regularly as normal practice for diamond resorts and one morning they started digging up the path to our villa with us inside! The main pool area was very busy and a lot of "sunbed reserving" so if you wanted a bed, you had to join the queue early in the morning, again not what you normally experience on a diamond resort. The crazy golf was dug up and like an unsafe concrete jungle for the whole of our stay. Despite staying for two weeks and asking at reception many times, our keys still stopped working on the middle saturday and we had to go back to reception. Overall, those of us who were diamond members were a little disappointed in the resort, but those non-members who had found it at a cheap price seemed more than happy! If you want a nice quiet break, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a "round the pool" holiday with the kids, it might be more for you!

This is aquietly resort where all the staff are friendly and helpful. It is ideally situated for visiting Playa Blanca where a taxi from the resort costs between 3 and 4 euros. The restuarant has improved vastly from a couple of years ago. If this does not suit you the are good class restuarants in Play Blanca eg Da Vinci.

Booked through diamond resorts.Got the villa 16a,overlooking the pools and to the bar, very quiet finished at 11 so no disturbance. Can concur with all the good aspects of other reviews.Behind the complex there is a great walk up to the volcano, with fantastic views over playa and beyond.turn right and then left at water park to get to the beach, then a lovely costal walk to playa. All the staff were great, could not do enough, especially at the bar/restaurant my thanks to Anthony, talha, And Tracy for the birthday cake,it made a most memorable night. The food to me was excellent, well cooked, well presented, the themed nights good value, all the prices were comparable to all other restaurants so we ate there every night.good entertainment on theme nights my thanks to the sax player for happy birthday, and the cavern music on curry night.Had a look at one of the four big villas, very plush for all the family, your own entrance at back to park your car, gated of course, just seemed you were on your own in your own place.overall a great holiday and will return.
