Great place to stay. Very comfortable and clean and staff were excellent. The facilities are great also with lovely pools, chess, table tennis, pool, football table and petanque. The restaurant on site is excellent with a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely be back in future

Lovely resort in a quiet area of Playa Blanca. Its about 20 minutes walk to the main harbour area where most of the restaurants are - a little bit less to about half a dozen restaurants towards the lighthouse. That said we didnt mind that. The resort itself is low rise, semi detached bungalows so feel quite private and quiet. The grounds are immaculate. Nice pool area with plenty of loungers. Nice on site bar with a decent restaurant with reasonable prices. The apartments are large and have the usual Diamond quality and contents - so you'll want for nothing. Ours (8b) was quiet and had a view across to Fuertaventura. Very clean and plenty of housekeeping done during the stay. All of the staff here were very helpful and friendly. This is a great base for this area and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. A car is quite useful.

First time in Lanzarote, had choice of two resorts to stay in through Diamond membership. Chose Jardines as looked like nicer apartments and overall layout of resort was appealing. 30 minutes from airport by mini bus transfer (€25 for 4 people booked through resort). Bit of a walk to any restaurants / shops or beaches but worth the trade off for quality of resort. We had a two bedroom bungalow which had large living / dining area, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, front and rear doors, large patio with sun loungers and table for 6 people. Hired a car for few days ( CICAR) and went site seeing, only takes around an hour to drive to the furthest point of the island and no great hassle on roads as low speed limits. Found it an excellent base for us. Overall very nice resort, with good on site restaurant, excellent if you want piece and quiet and plenty of outdoor space for relaxing in fairly private and secure surroundings.

This was our second time staying with Diamond Resorts at Jardines Del Sol. First time was in January 2016 and our second visit this April 2017 for the Easter break. On this occasion we had one of the 3 bed villas with beautiful sea views, huge patio areas perfect for sunbathing/eating out or for the kids to run about. This is a small scale, low rise complex which all makes this property superior to other self catering apartment / villa accommodation in the Playa Blanca area. Yes, it is 20 mins walk from the main beach and marina but for the peace, views and quality of accommodation it is a small price to pay. There are 3 pools in total - the children's one is really warm and the kids spent the entire day in it. Really relaxing for parents as its not busy so you have your eye on them at all times plus there is a lifeguard watching all 3 pools and there are plenty of sun loungers about. One of the adult pools was always warm as well which is something we always look for going out of high season to make the swimming more enticing! Great on site restaurant / snack bar with nice cocktails as well - also a daily happy hour. Very reasonably priced and super staff who are so attentive and pleasant (some of the staff we recognised from the prior year - always a good sign!) Standard of accommodation is superb, really clean and 2 bed villas also have great outdoor patio space. The little playground for kids is a real bonus and there is a mini market at another hotel just up the road. Reception staff are so helpful and kind, they are a credit to the resort. Special thanks to Maria on the reception desk who helped me out with a taxi issue!! I really recommend this resort if you are looking for peace and quiet and a nice couples or family holiday!!

just returned from 2 weeks at the resort. Had a wonderful time. The two bed apartment was clean, well maintained and well serviced. ALL the staff on site were wonderful and very welcoming. The bar and food area by the pool was excellent with good food and service. The taxi rank outside the main gate was always available and taxis were plentiful and reasonably priced although there was a bus service running every half hour. A very enjoyable and restful 2 weeks.

We stayed here for 10 nights in August. When we arrived the reception staff were very welcoming, we got a map which showed us where our room was, which was very easy to find. The bungalow was amazing, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite. Large lounge/dining area, kitchen with lots of cupboard space, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Outside is a terrace with a large table and chairs and 2 loungers. There are about 50 bungalows, which means it is quieter than a hotel. There are 3 swimming pools a small circular one, like a paddling pool, a large shallow pool and a large deep pool. There are lots of loungers around the pools. They have a no reserving policy for the loungers, most days we were able to find a lounger, but if you can't find one go to reception and they will arrange for the maintenance staff to bring the loungers from your bungalow. We had a take away from the restaurant every night. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They also do breakfast and lunch, again reasonably priced and delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The entertainment which was provided by Michael was really good, he got you involved, but didn't force you to get involved. We went up to Red Mountain with him, this is the mountain behind the hotel. It was a brilliant walk. We went up on our own too to watch the sunset. Michael made you feel very welcome. He would make a point of saying hello to you. The resort is located out of town, it takes about 25 minutes to walk or you can go by taxi, there is a taxi rank outside the resort and it costs 3 euros. This is a brilliant resort. If you are thinking of booking don't hesitate.

stayed at this resort for the 2nd time, very very clean and tidy, reception staff very good, bar-and food also good, very good breakfast, only gripe was, we were told no towels to keep sunbeds, but by 9.30 each morning towels were enjoying the sun, with only about 6 people eating breakfast, when i complained, the receptions did get the beds from our villa brought down to the pool for us, taxi ride to town only 3 euro, we walked into town and had taxi back, best each dorado beach, we found we got bit by sand flies on flamingo beach,we had a nice trip up the volcano, but it can get busy in high season, would go again.

Really enjoyed our stay (we are Diamond Club members). 2 bedroom apartments are spacious and comfortable with a good sized terrace with table and chairs and loungers. The pool area is pleasant and clean. All the staff were lovely. The restaurant is next to the pool so handy for drinks and breakfast or lunch and in the evening there is entertainment and a range of food. Again staff lovely. It's a bit of a walk into Playa Blanca but if you are active I don't think it's a problem. We got taxis in and out, about 3 euros. We had a good rest and enjoyed our stay so would definitely go back.

Stayed at Jardines del Sol for 3 nights and was impressed by size and decor of villa. We had a 2 bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms and kitchen area was very well equipped, with dishwater and washing machine. Also security is excellent with key card entry to gates and secure fencing all around. Villas are about a 20 min walk to the seafront then a further 20 min walk to the port and playa Blanca town, we hired a car so this was not a problem, I did notice there is a taxi rank outside the gates, but my advice would be to hire car, gives you so much freedom. My only criticism would be that the patio area at our villa (3b) was not very private and some of the other guests seemed to use it as a short cut to the pool!! I must mention that all the staff we dealt with at Jardines del Sol were helpful and friendly and provided us with lots of information about the resort.

Our holiday at this resort was made by the friendliness of the staff. From the gardener who always said Good Morning to the reception staff to the restaurant and pool staff. The resort apartments were spotless with regular cleaning and modern and spacious. There is an outside area with table loungers. The resort gardens are tended and have quirky pots and features to browse. A little cat hotel at the back. The draw back is the resort is a walk from the sea front if you are not up to walking. However, the taxis are cheap. There is a great walk up the Volcano behind the resort. I lovely stay. My only negative point and this is personal to me is the children that seem unsupervised by parents in the deep pool. I also feel as there are three pools it would be nice to have a "quiet" pool for adults only leaving the other two for families and children!!
