We have stayed in several hotels over the years in Playa Blanca and this is by far the best. Recently refurbished, the quality of the fixture and fittings, together with the fantastic service provided by the friendly staff, made this a wonderful week for us. The hotel has something for everyone. There is a great section for families with a brilliant play area, a general area for everyone and then an adult only section. Our room was just lovely with a big balcony overlooking the sea. The balcony had a couple of rocking chairs and 2 sun loungers which were lovely to use for the late afternoon sun. The breakfast choice was amazing and the quality of the food excellent. We will definitely be returning.

This was our second visit to a really wonderful hotel. The staff are all exceptionally cheerful , helpful and welcoming. The entertainment team put on two excellent shows, and the other acts were also good, especially the magician. The whole of the hotel is spotless. The restaurant was busy but everything ran like clockwork with very attentive waiting staff quickly clearing plates. We were especially pleased to be allocated another lovely corner room which gave us wide views along the sea front. The hotel is very well placed for walking along the coast towards the east or west. We hired a car from the local Cicar company next door to the hotel. Easy parking, pickup and delivering at the end of the hire period. The roads are all excellent, no pot holes as in the UK , and little traffic. We will be back next year.....for longer than a week next time.

Just returned on 11th. March, 2018 from a week stay at this fantastic Hotel. This was our third visit over the last four years. The staff are plentiful and could not be more friendly and obliging, the new greeting at reception is good in that you hand over your Passports and Hotel Summary then take a seat where you are furnished with a drink and sweets and the Reception staff come to you to sign paper work and give instructions on Hotel. Tea and Coffee facilities are now available though on AI the coffee has to be paid for. A large bottle of water is supplied and replenished when required with an additional two small bottles of water daily. A gift is supplied this year a bottle of wine although one day the maid left two plates, napkins an cutlery in room but obviously forgot what had to go along with them. The food again is excellent with a great choice, the restaurant staff are excellent and very friendly, Munoz even remembered our drinks order from days previous. The rooms and the Hotel are very clean and well looked after, plenty of sun beds. The animation team do an excellent job, thanks to Jorge, Alice, Sergio, Maria and the rest of the team. I will be returning next year. One of the best locations in Playa Blanca on the sea front.

My husband and I have just returned from a 9-day holiday taken between the 1st March - 10th March. It was our 4th visit to this hotel which has now become our regular winter destination. On arrival we upgraded to Star Prestige (all inclusive). We know it is not cheap but for us it ticks all the boxes and is worth every penny. We arrived late at night after a nightmare journey from Edinburgh. Due to the extreme weather conditions only 2 flights were able to depart that day. Our flight was almost 8 hours behind schedule and the conditions were so bad that the bus taking us to the plane was stuck in snow for several minutes! We phoned ahead to let the hotel know that we would be late arriving. Despite the restaurant being closed the hotel arranged for room service and we enjoyed a delicious club sandwich with a lovely bottle of wine. LOCATION: The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront with stunning views towards Fuerteventura and a promenade leading to shops/marina/beaches etc. FOOD: High quality with a great selection. The gourmets may prefer the show cooking and menu in the Star Prestige section, but although we sat at a table in Star Prestige we tended to use the buffet in the main restaurant. DRINK: Star Prestige customers have access to premium branded drinks including Taittinger Champagne, Tanqueray 10 gin etc. If you do visit this hotel please try the local Lanzarote white wine, one of the best wines we have tasted anywhere. ROOM: Large and spacious, with comfortable beds and stylish decor. The fridge is well stocked and replenished daily. There are coffee making facilities, iron and board, robes and slippers. However there is one niggle - there are no British TV channels (apart from Sky News). The cleaning of the room and indeed all public areas is exceptional. We have never witnessed such intensive cleaning schedules. ENTERTAINMENT: We are not interested in magic shows or acrobats, however on most nights we saw shows ranging from high quality (operatic tenors similar to Il Divo) and various groups to the animation team Juke Box show which was surprisingly good. What a talented bunch! During the day the animation team were very active and kept the kids and parents entertained in the family section. In the adults only Star Prestige area we were looked after by Maggie from the Animation Team. What a lovely person she is and so kind and sensitive to the needs of the older holiday makers (such as us!) RECEPTION: If you do visit this hotel and encounter any problems please contact reception who are unfailingly polite and helpful. In particular, Yare, who will go the extra mile to resolve the problem. She is such a good ambassador for Iberostar and should be commended. MANAGEMENT: In our experience few 5 star hotels live up to expectations. What elevates Lanzarote Park is the exceptional quality of service in all areas such as those previously described. This stems from the management of the hotel. My husband was a senior manager in a large organisation and was most impressed by the Manager Gianmaria who was highly visible and approachable. Finally, it is only in the past 2 years that we have dared to visit Lanzarote as we previously believed the that it was "behind the times" and run down. Thanks to our experience at Lanzarote Park this image has been dispelled thanks to Iberostar Lanzarote Park, Gianmaria and his team.

We have just returned from a fortnight's holiday at this hotel. We booked a Star Prestige suite with sea view on a half-board basis. From start to finish everything worked well and we had a superb time. Star Prestige has a dedicated check-in concierge where nothing is too much trouble. It also gives access to a lounge and poolside bar providing inclusive drinks and snacks to a high standard. Star Prestige guests also have use of an 'adults only' outdoor area and a separate dining room with a view to die for over the sea. Throughout our stay we found all the staff to be happy and friendly, which created a nice atmosphere. We don't usually attend evening entertainment but we did here as the shows, especially musical, from 9-10pm after dinner, were to a high standard, as was the gentle live music played on some lunchtimes at the outside Prestige bar. We have never stayed in an Iberostar hotel before. Our booking was last minute and this wasn't our first choice, but it certainly will be in the future as we were impressed by the whole Iberostar Prestige package. We should also add that the hotel has a fabulous location overlooking the sea and next to a promenade with a 20 minute walk one way to Playa Blanca, where you can get the ferry to Fuerteventura and there is a selection of shops and bars, or the other way you can meander about 4 kilometres to the lighthouse! Highly recommended

Booked online and after our flight was delayed overnight they very kindly and fairly amended our booking on arrival to deduct the first night after we informed them we would not be able to make it. Stayed Star Prestige although I think it was busy around the star prestige pool and very quiet elsewhere most must have been staying start prestige. I was not sure the advantage of all inclusive v half board because I don't know if drinks and lunch were included in Star prestige? We were all inclusive but you could get drinks in the star prestige lounge regardless. Much prefer the separate restaurant, no children is a bonus and ordering from a menu is much better than buffet although the vegetarian was not on the evening menu there was a vegetarian option available, I found out by accident walking past to go for buffet. Good quality drinks, I was happy with cava & champagne but husband would have preferred alternative choice of beer. Food excellent however dinner portions off menu very small, we did try the snack bar for lunch one day, husband had a burger and was sick that evening, don't know if it was that or not but we were tired anyway so we did not go for dinner just relaxed in the room. The room was comfortable, nicely furnished, spacious, we booked a double but were given two singles together, they were made up separately and not fixed together. Sun loungers were very comfy, bar service by star prestige good, some food available. All the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, welcoming, I would go back as the staff were go great. Only negative is checkout, booking online said late checkout subject to availability, when we asked we were told there was no availability. I asked if there were any other rooms available and would be willing to pay for an alternative room but were told the hotel was fully booked. I appreciate we could shower and change at the spa but it was so warm we came out of the spa needing another shower! I checked online and there were numerous different rooms available so was disappointed we did not get the late checkout suggested on booking.

if you want five star service , superb food , spotless and clean room and surroundings , be made to feel special every day by the wonderful hard working staff then BOOK this hotel .We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel and it was fantastic , every one who worked at the hotel went out of their way to make it special . The rooms are fantastic with memory foam beds , large flat screen tv ,mini bar, dressing robes and slippers ,luxury bathroom with rainfall shower , evening turn down service and towels service etc. Outside superb grounds with facilities for all including a water park area for kids. the sunbeds were very comfy and plenty of them and several fantastic pools were available. Food was of a really good standard with plenty of choices ......we will be returning very soon Thanks for a great time.....

Just home from our stay at Iberostar Lanzarote Park. We stayed as star prestige customers and overall the holiday was very good. 1,Front desk staff - good 2,Room very good 3,Prestige snack bar / patio area - excellent, professional and friendly service. A significant asset to the hotel. 4, Food and restaurant service staff - very good and very friendly service experienced 5, Bar staff - professional friendly service experienced. The week went well until Monday 5th March upon entering the restaurant at 6pm with the 18 or so other guests awaiting the restaurant opening. My wife and I were delighted to have been treated to a glass of wine immediately prior to the restaurant opening. My wife indicated our room number( glass of wine in hand ) to the member of staff outside the restaurant door as per all the other guests waiting. Upon the doors opening the senior restaurant manager appeared, my wife entered the restaurant followed by myself and the other guests. The senior manager approached me in front of the other guests and 1st asked if I were English, I answered " yes" He then said ( in front of the other guests entering the restaurant ) you can go into the restaurant tonight with the wine but tomorrow it won't be allowed. He said this in a most demeaning manner with an exceptionally unprofessional tone. I felt belittled and embarrassed as to the manor and volume he used in delivering the message. At no point was any warning given or any signage visible informing guests you can not take beverages of any kind into the restaurant. I went to my table with my wife and started our evening meal, Whilst eating our main course the restaurant manger walked down towards our table in an aggressive manner observing our table presumably to see if we had any other forbidden drinks. He then proceeded to walk in an intimidating manner for 1 or 2 minutes adjacent to our table before walking off. My wife and I were left feeling most shaken, intimidated and generally feeling pretty miserable. At no time did I wish to break any restaurant rules, I did not see or were made aware of any signage indicating it was forbidden to take drinks procured from other areas within the business into the restaurant. I found this senior member of staff to be extremely unprofessional in his manner and very immature in the way he interacted with paying guests. Iberostar you have a great product, please don't let poor arrogant staff spoil your product. Please understand the manager in question is NOT the grey haired gentleman he was very professional and very polite. It was the younger man.

This was our first visit to this hotel but our 4 time to the island , last time we came across in Oct we walked past his hotel and said what a lovely place so we decided to book and I’m glad we did,from the moment you arrived you were made to feel welcome. We had a lovely room right near to the kids pool , cleaned daily with loads of toiletries and a lovely turn down service with nightly chocolates,food amazing lots of choice freshly cooked before you :-) Drinks all very good brands grey goose /cava / San Miguel with table service Yes the kids pools were cold I agree with other reviewers this should be acknowledged by the hotel this was a shame as we could hardly use them for being so cold .the smaller kids pool was warmer but not great for a 4 year old to swim in .we wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again especially with the easy reach for the lovely beach near this hotel

The hotel is excellent in many respects. We chose the prestige category. This allowed for eating in the relatively peaceful prestige restaurant area, choosing from the fine dining menu there or from the buffet section next door. Prestige also gave a special room where you could relax and have a complementary alcoholic or non alcoholic drink at any time and some food in the afternoon. Other benefits of prestige were lovely rooms and free food and drink outside. The entertainment at night was very good, organised by enthusiastic Maggie and the rooms were very good too. All staff were so friendly and helpful.
