Iberostar Lanzarote Park

I stayed at Lanzarote Park for 2 weeks from 28th July with my husband and 6 year old daughter. We arrived at approx 9pm and were efficiently checked in and directed to our room. The hotel is divided into 3 blocks - families, families/adults, and adults/star prestige. We were in the first block for families a short walk from reception. The room was one bedroom with convertible bed settees in the living area and a balcony with a sea view. Everything is white and clean in the rooms (hard to find the white room key at times!!) and the maids visited daily, on occasion leaving towel elephants with chocolate sweets much to my daughter's delight! My daughter and I bagged the bedroom and my husband had the bed settee. We were very comfy for the 2 weeks, I'm not the bed settee was quite as comfy! A meal had been plated up for us in the restaurant which was available after 11pm so we went down to the sports bar for a drink and a look about. The bar was busy, but there were tables available at 10pm and the atmosphere was very pleasant. This was our 4th trip to Playa Blanca and at this point my husband and I decided we had made a good choice booking this hotel. Our first impressions were correct. Reception staff, cleaning staff, bar and restaurant staff and the Animacíon team were all fantastic. The pool area is kept incredibly clean despite the guest's best efforts to leave a mess. The bar staff come round with ice cream, and even a crushed ice baileys or a cocktail later in the day. The Wifi is pretty good. We were allowed 3 devices on our room, but we had 4. Imagine the disaster when I logged my daughter out of the wifi so I could download a book to my kindle. I couldn't reconnect, so reception allocated us an additional password free of charge. There is plenty to do at the hotel on a pool day. The kids clubs seemed popular but my daughter is shy so was not keen to leave myself and my husband. In the afternoon the mini club (up to age 7 I think) does activities that you can stay with your child, so she joined in one day and had a great time. Maggie is an absolute gem and has so much patience and enthusiasm the kids just love her! Ani too is great at getting all the kids joining in, even the ones who like to hide at the back like my daughter. We didn't get to know the whole team as they look after different age groups, but the energy the team has is truly amazing. David and Esther must run on duracell batteries! The evenings are good. There is entertainment every night which is pretty good compared to other hotels I have visited. The 3 acrobats and dog has us in stitches and the ABBA tribute were our favourites. We ate out a bit so didn't see all the acts. There is a mini club disco for the kids at about 8.30 and the entertainment starts around 9.30. Christhian in Jameos bar in the evening is fabulous. There is table service and he will chase you down if he sees you going for your own drinks!! The food is great. Best I have had in an all inclusive hotel. I have never had table service for drinks in an all inclusive hotel before. For the evening meal drinks are served to the table. Salvadora in the restaurant was just lovely. The staff work so hard keeping the tables turning over I don't know how they keep smiling. There is always a management presence at mealtimes as well as they arrange for a waiter to take you to a table. Gents make sure you pack your long trousers! One thing tho, at tea time hold on to your kids when they are selecting their food. It is so busy, too busy in fact. We ate out a few times because we didn't want to tackle the crowds at the evening buffet. Guests hold their plates at kids head height and don't always see them as it is so busy. The evening meal experience would definitely be improved if there was a second restaurant (besides the star prestige which is adults only) We had a late flight on our last day so requested a late room. You can't find out if you can check out late until after dinner the night before when the rooming list for the following day has been confirmed. I wouldn't bother. It was 39or40Euros and we only got to extend to 2pm from 12pm. You can spend the day by the pool and store your luggage in a room in the lobby and use the spa showers to freshen up before your flight. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again, but maybe half board due to the crazy busy evening buffet

We just came from our 10 days holiday; all in all we had exceptional time. From the time we arrived till the time we left we felt very welcomed by the very friendly staff. The quality of the rooms were excellent. The food, activities and bars were excellent. The location was so unique. the entertainment team were fantastic especially Esther and David ( we had more contact with them but I would say all the team) : they were so energetic very kind and so friendly. We were able to have late check out due to our late flight. the hotel all in all was so clean: the rooms, pools, toilets and every where. Our rooms were serviced twice every day. We Had great time and certainly we will come again and use other Iberostar locations.

Ideally located on the beach front about 10 minute walk to Playa Blanca along the promenade. We had a family room with sea view which was very spacious for 2 adults and a teenager. The room was cleaned promptly everyday and service staff were friendly and helpful. We had b&b only and the breakfast was excellent with loads of choice. Overall our stay was great, just a few negative things to highlight. If you want a sunbed around the pool you have to get up early!!! Beds are being reserved from 7am with most taken by 8.30am. The hotel has a 'no reserve' policy that they do not consistently enforce. There is a small beach about 100 yards away with sunbeds & umbrellas for hire (around 12€ per day) You can hire pool towels although the procedure for changing them was not made clear. You collect them from reception initially but they are changed on Tuesday & Saturday poolside by the life guards. Mostly the reception staff are helpful although we found one to be particularly rude when we asked to change our towels at reception by mistake. Overall a great place to stay for families.

Arrived around 10pm last night and upgraded to star is amazing..sea view is to die for. Staff are so pleasant and helpful and the food is amazing. The place is spotless and the pool & sunbed area is fantastic. This place is paradise...13 more days of luxury! Oh and the facility to blue tooth music through speakers in bedroom and bathroom ...brilliant idea. Anyone coming here you are in for a treat 😉

We spent a week here all inclusive with my 2 sons families including 4 kids under 9 from August 5th Hotel is excellent with great access to number of pools and facilities Rooms We had room 1204 which overlooked pool and recieved sun on balcony in afternoon The rooms are really spacious if a bit spartan but more than adequate Shower is large and toilet is good size Food One of best I have visited for choice and quality Restuarant is massive but have so many choices no one could say they couldnt find anything to eat The restuarant staff are excellent friendly and very helpful Pool We spent most of time at childrens pools which had 3 different parts and kids had wonderful time on slides etc There is a van giving out water crepes waffles etc Although waiting 20mins for girl to make crepe in excessive heat was a bummer to many Entertainment Team tried hard and seemed to be good with kid activities during day At night a few different acts to reasonable standard One disappointment was you could only change pool towels twice a week which I felt was bit 2*ish Overrall a really good hotel with plenty of space great food and friendly staff

We stayed here for 4 nights in May and returned for a longer stay in July. We were in the Star Prestige part and it was worth every penny. The rooms were spacious , comfortable , well appointed and well cleaned every day. The Prestige pool was quiet and relaxing with its own bar and sun terrace overlooking the sea. To be fair a 9am visit was needed to plonk towels on sun beds before breakfast. Food - simply cannot find fault. The Prestige Restaurant is great . The food magnificent. Probably the best steak I've ever had. The only pain is Gentlemen having to wear long trousers. Jeans don't look right , I'm sure they could relax this and allow decent shorts. Breakfast and lunch had great choices , lunch always something different. Prestige Restaurant not open at lunch but the main restaurant had so much choice . Have to give a shout out to three fabulous ladies in Prestige Restaurant - Melissa , Letitia and Raquel - charming , polite and excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Having singled them out - its only fair to praise the rest of the staff. We encountered lots of smiles and great service from all of those we came into contact with. In short great stay(s) , lovely comfortable hotel with superb staff. We'll be back.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. I recommend all people to take 'starprestige' when you book a room at this hotel. You have more advantages and the food is really tasty. It's like you're having dinner each evening at a good restaurant, with sea view. For those who don't take starprestige, there is a big tasty buffet, which is also available for the starprestige. The hotel/room is cosy, modern designed, of good quality and very clean. From the room you also have a nice view at the sea and the swimming pool. There is a lot of space and seats at the swimming pool, so you are always sure of a seat. Each evening there is great entertainment at the hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpfull and happy. The area is beautiful and you're immediately at the beach. The bars, dancings and shops are only 15 minutes walk. I would go back for sure! Valerie T.

Stayed in a Family Room with my husband, 7yr old and 4yr old for 11nts (27/07 - 07/08). We had a brilliant holiday and can't rate this hotel highly enough. We booked directly with the hotel. Upon arrival at check in we were greeted with welcome drinks while all the paperwork was done. Special mention to Miranda who was always lovely and helpful at the reception. We were then shown to our room on the first floor. Room was amazing, separate bedroom for the adults, lots of wardrobe & storage space. Lovely big bathroom with walk in rainfall shower & hand held shower. Lounge area had 2 good comfortable sofa beds which my kids had no bother at all sleeping on. We'd a massive balcony with 2 sun loungers and table & chairs, view was stunning overlooking main pool area and out towards the sea and fuerteventura in the distance. Our room was directly above the main entertainment and bar area & I mean directly above room (1107) and we can honestly say we heard nothing from downstairs unless the balcony door was open. in fact our room being so quiet despite its great location was one of the plus points. I'd ask for this room again as it was so handy for reception, restaurant & the view was stunning!!! Music in the entertainment bar and sports bar tended to be finished by midnight anyway, most nights the 'crowds' had died down by 11pm and on the nights we were out late the hotel was quiet after midnight. Can't fault the cleanliness at all of our room or common public areas, all spotless clean. maid was in daily. Breakfasts were great with something for everyone...cooked breakfasts, pastries, all sorts of breads & rolls, croissants & sandwiches you could toast yourself, omelettes, all types of eggs, waffles, pancakes, smoothies, name it, it was there!! We ate out for lunch a few times but also had lunch at pool bar which was good choices for reasonable money. Again dinner time had so much variety and different choices every night, had some lovely meals! Enjoyed a bottle of Rose Cava with our food every night. Kids loved the desserts section and I was partial to the cheeses and crackers. Hotel also done nice touches like coming round the sunloungers with icebreaker for the kids and some alcoholic cocktails and drinks for the grown ups. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, Abba were great & they performed outdoors which was different one of the nights. The entertainment team are so nice and work so hard and are very talented, the shows they put on were better than some of the other ones. During the day there was entertainment & events happening if you wanted. we done the bingo one day & we all went to the foam party!! this hotel really does have something for everyone. Also good that they have the prestige section for those adults wanting more tranquility. If you're reading this and contemplating going then do it, you'll not be disappointed!

Great holiday from start to finish. We arrived at 10.30 pm and had a smooth relaxed check in despite there being another 4 families arriving too. We were greeted with cava and canapés and told that they had prepared food for us in the dining room which was delicious. Our room in the middle section of the hotel was spacious and clean with a separate bedroom and beds in the living room for our 16 and 13 year old. There was two sets of wardrobes so plenty of hanging space. It was on the second floor directly above the bars and the noise was fine if you closed the patio door it was inaudible. We stayed all inclusive and the food at each sitting was fresh and fabulous with Fantastic choice at every meal. The staff again are fabulous and so courteous and never rush you while eating and serve you fresh coffee and drinks and make you feel special. You could also gets snacks throughout the day if needed. The selection of drinks were great and the staff were warm and friendly and attentive we never had to wait for long to be served. There was plenty of activities for all ages at all times and if you didn't want to join in there was no pressure. All the animation team were great and worked very hard and created a nice relaxing vibe were you felt welcome Jorge and Maggi who in particular were great as they stopped to talk to people . There was a mini, maxi and teen club with activities age appropriate if you children wanted to be part of it. There is also a good gym and a fitness activity program that I enjoyed. The entertainment was fine we enjoy a walk out at night so didn't see all of it but the general opinion was that it was good. The sports bar and the terrace was nice and relaxed at night too and the staff very attentive we were often asked if we would like a drink and it was served to us. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. I cannot stress enough how great the staff are, the management must be very proud of every member from the greeting at reception to the cleaning staff who never stopped. Most Especially the animation team and the bar and restaurant staff who work tirelessly to provide a superior experience. Highly recommended!

This hotel disappointed in SO many areas, I feel like I visited a different hotel to many of the other reviews! The staff were not friendly and helpful at the desk, in fact they were quite the opposite. They put my family in a dirty room with tissues and hairs all over, so I started my holiday by cleaning up! I looked out of the doors to find a view of the wall, not the sea view I had paid for. The time was 1am so the receptionist said we would sort it in the morning. However in the morning the staff tried to tell me it was a sea view, then unfortunately jet2 didn't book the correct room and that they couldn't do anything. The jet2 lady eventually sorted out a room on the first floor with a view of the sea but I'd spent the majority of my first day sorting it out and frankly being spoken to very rudely. The new room was clean but what I didn't realise was it was directly above the sports bar which played thumping music until 12-1am. Not idea with a toddler! I actually will be leaving this holiday more tired which I didn't think was possible! The double bed is actually two single beds with separate bedding and the sofa bed is a sofa with a sheet on it. Not what the description indicates on the website. Also it said there was a bath but this is not the case. The food is by far the best bit, really lovely and lots of variety every day. The staff in there a nice and do make the effort. The entertainment was ok. My child didn't attend mini club but we did the mini disco which she loved however I thought giving medals to the mini club children at the disco was a little mean to the children that didn't attend .The adverts before the shows need looking at; it swears! Absolutely not acceptable for children! A very disappointing trip and I would say if you are a family and don't like being kept up to the early hours this hotel is not for you!
