Just back from this hotel and wanted the staff to know how much we enjoyed our stay they're extremely helpful and polite we always felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble very professional and very clean
Bad points: Firstly, men having to wear long pants for the evening meal is ridiculous!!! Who wants to wear long pants when on holiday in a hot country?! The first night, after arriving to the hotel with 15 minutes to spare before the restaurant closed, my husband was abruptly asked to leave the restaurant and told that he could not eat in there (despite reception staff sending us straight there). To add insult to injury, whilst he was being turfed out, there was a rather large woman with tattoos all up her legs, wandering around in shorts so short that her underwear was visible! But according to hotel rules, that is acceptable... but men wearing knee length smart shorts is not! Absolutely ridiculous! 2nd bad point: hardly any interaction with guests during the day and only 1 or 2 activities. A band played for an hour, 3 mornings out of 2 weeks, but that was about it. It totally lacks any atmosphere at all during the day. 3rd bad point: 2 single beds ON WHEELS acting as a double bed. These slid around the bedroom like Bambi on ice throughout the night. Although, despite this, the beds themselves are very comfy. 4th bad point: Not everything is all inclusive: some of the snacks during the day, even if you're all inclusive, you have to pay for! For example, at the snack bar you can get little pastries & drinks, but if you want some melon you have to pay... which is silly as you can go in the dinner hall and get as much melon as you want for free! Just doesn't make sense! 5th bad point: the family rooms aren't actually 'family rooms'. Ours had a double bedroom, then a pillow and duvet on the 2 leather settees and a fold away bed in the living room, with all other furniture piled up in the corner. Good points: The hotel itself is lovely, very clean, gorgeous sea views, great play area for kids and great pools. The kids club is also brilliant, my kids loved it. Chloe, Maggie and Imane work very hard and are great with the kids. The other member of the animation team I would like to mention is Steve... there was an elderly lady there (a guest) who had dementia, and he always went out of his way to speak to her and involve her, which was lovely to see. Also, most of the restaurant staff are very friendly, as are the staff at the pool bar, Juan especially. We did enjoy our holiday there, as holidays are what you make of them, but we won't be in a hurry to go back to this particular hotel, we have been to much better places in the past.
Just come back a week ago.. room modern, spacious and very clean!! Staff always have a smile on their face always happy to help.. Food was great lots of variety and fresh went all inclusive and didn't feel the need to eat out once which is a change for us!! Greeted with bottles of cava which was a lovely touch then I found out I could drink it all throughout my stay which was a bonus! Open till 11.30:12ish kids disco then different shows each night.. Played music throughout day on a Sunday while some people was learning salsa wish they did that more often we loved it!! Only other time music was on was when they was teaching aqua gymnastics for 45 mins or so mid morning.. Great hotel for families and couples!!
We have just returned from a great stay at this hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshments which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean and had a good view of the sea and pool. There was plenty of options at meals times and all the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is good and I have no problems with recommending this hotel to anyone who is thinking about traveling here.
Hotel..Amazing Staff..Amazing location..Amazing Food.. Amazing Room.. Amawmg Pools.. Amazing Weather.. Amazing Can't fault this hotel, we had the best holiday ever, there is nothing to complain about, I really don't understand the other reviews that pick at little things, at the end of the day it's an all inclusive hotel that caters for the average couple or family. We never go to the same place twice but if we did, we would 100% return here.
on arriving at the hotel greeted with a glass of bubbly it is a lovely place all the staff were polite and helpful and hotel room clean and tidy food was great and a lot of choices we were in the family side sea view room really cannot fault it the Lanzarote park is a lovely hotel with great friendly staff
On our check in we were given an upgrade. Our room was so big, with an enormous area for washing and a two shower shower. We were on the ground floor so when we opened the patio doors we were straight on to the pool area but still very private. The room was kept impeccable throughout our stay and even had the turn down team at night whilst dining. We were left a chocolate on the pillows too. The food was fantastic, no different than before the hotel was renovated. We were given the star prestige restaurant but could still use the usual large one too. The star prestige had air conditioning and a sea view which was delightful. The food was haute cuisine and we watched the chef carefully present it to the diners who had ordered their plate. This process was really long winded and people were getting fed up of waiting and went on to get other food from the usual restaurant. Iberostar have got this a bit wrong, people don't want to wait ages for their food, they want it there and then. That was really the only criticism of such a wonderful restaurant, perhaps they can think of a better way to serve the higher graded customers. The staff as usual were so friendly but couldn't speak too good English which was a little unfortunate. Other than that a really good holiday in a brilliant hotel.
I stayed in may, the hotel was amazing the staff so kind and helpful also the food was amazingly good and the restaurant staff was absolutely brilliant especially a member of staff that met us at the door and made sure we was looked after I think his name was fransico a brilliant member of your team I would recommend everyone to come to this hotel I am definitely coming back in may next year xx I could not fault this hotel and the staff in any way but men DONT forget to bring a pair of pants for the evening meal
We have stayed in over a dozen Iberostar Hotels throughout Spain and the Lanzarote Park has to be one of the best . Upon your arrival you are greeted with a welcome glass of cava and a warm smile. The check in takes a little longer than normal cue to strict passport control but the wait was well worth it. We had booked an all inclusive package holiday for ten days . We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a Prestige room and Restaurant by the hotel which was a very pleasant surprise to us both. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful sea view with a large balcony. large double bed with a walk in shower supplied with bath robes. Their is a fridge in the room stocked with beer and soft drinks upon your arrival and the water is replaced every day. A nice touch is every evening your bed is turned down and fresh chocolates left on the bed.The first night a bottle of wine The hotel has two restaurants of which one is for Prestige guests only but they can also take food from the other restaurant. Staff in the restaurant are always very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble for them which gives a real relaxed atmosphere .Thank you to all the staff excellent job. The Prestige Restaurant has its own chef;s who cook your food while you wait which is quite an experience. The food is unbelievable a small choice but tastes to suit everybody. In our opinion the best restaurant of any Iberostar that we have stayed. The hotel has I think four pools of which one is for children and a private pool for Prestige guests with plenty of sun beds. The staff around the pool are very pleasant and spoil you with drinks, fresh fruit and ice cream during the day.The area is also very quiet and peaceful. There is live entertainment every night for all guests which is varied and should suit all types of guest;s need,s for a pleasant evening. If not there are small bars throughout the hotel. The hotel is situated meters from the beach although it is a rocky beach but there is a public sandy beach a few hundred yards away. Also a very long walking path to the small village and shopping area,s which is a very pleasant walk during the cool mornings and evenings. There are so many nice and pleasant things to say about this beautiful hotel and our only advice is to book a holiday in the Lanzarote Park Hotel to experience the magic this hotel offers. The only negative point is that ten days was too short we wished it could have been longer. ** THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF WHO MADE AN UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAY** Steve & Rita
We stayed here for 10 nights half board and were meeting up with another 6 family members who were all inclusive. Hotel itself bright and airey, but for saying renovated only a few months ago there were a few maintenance issues arising, like toilet block door handle coming off meaning stuck inside (reception staff not that bothered other than "technician on his way"), pool steps coming away from the base, etc. Layout of main toilets near pool area not great, one soap dispenser and one dryer meaning you have to get in others way at the sinks to wash with soap and dry! Also the baby changing table is very near the hand dryer which meant that you couldn't dry your hands without upsetting our baby when changing her, and with no other baby changing table in either the men's or disabled toilets I had no choice. For half board the breakfast and evening meals were a great selection but think it's a bit mean that not even water is included with the evening meal, you had to pay for it. Our room was great and spacious, but our other family room for 2 adults and 2 children was very cramped. No kettle in the room though, luckily we had taken a travel kettle for the baby bottle. The replenishment of the toiletries was also a bit mean, only the shampoo and body wash not the other bits. Nothing else on arrival either, no water or glass of cava. Entertainment in the evening was ok, although is not on for long. Kids disco for half an hour and then nothing until show at 21.30 which only was on for 45 mins. After that you felt like the waiters wanted you out of the way in the main room to clear up. The shows were a good variety to cater for all though. The rest of the animation team were mixed - mini club for kids for the over 4s where they could disappear twice a day for an hour and half and a few activities for the adults round the pool but that was it. I was disgusted with the appalling reaction of Esther when our disabled child was crying during one of the wine tasting displays! It seems that this hotel is trying to be family friendly but also appeal to the Prestige All Inclusive market and I don't think it works. Even small points like to go down the ramps from the pool out to the promenade (different sides of pools) meant you had to wheel the pushchair through the adults sunbathing (slalom course through the sunbeds) which neither we or the adults appreciated but we weren't prepared to bounce our disabled daughter down the steps! The pools are not very warm (in fact the kids pool with the slides was freezing) and the pool area wasn't cleaned overnight. The sunbeds are put back in line but not wiped down (the same bird poo was on one bed for our whole stay) and the tiles area was also not swept or washed. Again debris (plate, cups, used plaster) was under the beds for days running around the shallow kids pool. Not that bothered if we don't return to this hotel.
