This is our 6th holiday at the Lanzarote Princess and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The staff are amazing, very attentive, helpful and friendly. From the reception desk to the cleaners and handy men, nothing is too much trouble! Our children love it, there is always something to do, the activities are varied daily. The Lanzarote princess and its staff are truly wonderful, we are never disappointed and always look forward to returning. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

We returned last Thursday after 2 wonderful weeks. Lovely warm welcome to the hotel by great reception staff with excellent English, lots of information given and a drink of Orange juice or bubbly. We had a family room which met all our needs including a curtain to separate us from our son. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed when necessary. The piano bar was our favourite area, lovely relaxed atmosphere with really friendly staff and nice cocktails. Food was plentiful with a huge variety, topped up regularly and food areas were always clean. The pool area was cleaned daily by some hard working pool staff who were always friendly and very efficient. Children's pool is very cold which is my only moan. The hotel clearly displays a policy of not reserving sunbeds, it's a shame some people ignore this and spoil the enjoyment of others. Beds are reserved as early as 7am and not sat on until 11am !!! Great holiday in a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff, would love to return

We booked a very last minute 4 night break on Weds eve and flew Thurs morning, and we weren't disappointed! From the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful. We traveled as a family of 3 with our 2 and half year old daughter, the hotel has a great balance of children/adult entertainment, a great variety of food and it's very clear as to how hard the staff work. The hotel room was great overlooking the pool, with 3 single beds - which we pushed altogether - was nice to have a bed rather than a sofa bed for our daughter. We can honestly say there wasn't one bad thing we had to say about this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It was great to see that the staff actually cared about making our stay an enjoyable one!

Just returned from a 10 night stay here as a family of 4 & my older daughter & her boyfriend came under a separate booking, had a lovely holiday. I have given a 'very good' rather than 'excellent because there were just 1 or 2 things that let the place down. The staff are excellent, from the reception staff, to the cleaners, entertainment staff, bar, waiters etc........they work so hard & really go out of their way to help you, so helpful & friendly - only experienced 1 or 2 grumpy ones but we all have a bad day now & again don't we? The rooms are cleaned & fresh towels every day - not 4/5 days a week like most places & they really do a great job, very clean. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable & the pillows are lovely. Plenty of wardrobes & drawers, can't fault it. The food is fantastic - best 4 * all inclusive food we have ever had, never expected to have langoustine, tuna steak & caviar included at a 4* - the meat & fish is fresh cooked in front of you, replenished frequently & a great variety every single day, always something for everyone. We used the pool snack bar most lunchtimes which was fine - plenty of salads, fries, hotdogs, nachos, go early or later to avoid a big queue! The sunbeds were pretty good quality - only came across 1 broken one our entire stay. They operate a 'no reserve' policy which they do enforce on some days - quite rightly so, we were usually down at the pool by 0830/9 ish & never had any problems finding beds, but there were always the ignorant & selfish people who reserve their beds at 8 in the morning & don't come back until 2 in the afternoon! Was quite nice to see their face when they came back to find their beds being used by someone else & their towels with the lifeguard! Hehehe We were surprised to find cocktails & good quality spirits included in the all-inclusive drinks, live singers in the piano bar every evening & childrens entertainment throughout every day & night. The closest beach is absolutely beautiful, we all had a great time snorkelling there & plenty of water sports available if you're into that! The slight negatives we found - the pool was always cloudy & you couldn't see the bottom of it once you got past waist height, I don't know if this was due to the chlorine levels but it was the same every day, just made me a bit nervous. Around the pool area was very clean & with a non-slip surface which I was very happy about. A funny little rule they have is no Lilo's in the pool - you can have inflatable rings, crocodiles, dolphins etc - anything else except a lilo which we found really odd, especially since they sell them in the hotel shop! Very strange 8-/ Could have done with more bar staff at busy times - the bar staff are constantly busy & really work flat out all the time - even during quieter periods, especially the guys in the pool bar, only 2 of them really isn't enough - but nevertheless, they were always friendly & happy. We booked the A La Carte restaurant for our last night - we had high hopes given how good the main restaurant is, but am sorry to say we were quite disappointed. The lights are really dim which makes it hard to read the menu, the food was ok but the service was really slow, one of the waiting staff was really trying his best to clear plates etc but we had been there 2 hours & were keen to go & meet up with friends we had met for our last night - so we ended up leaving before our dessert. I know a lot of people had been & said how amazing it was but we didn't really see what all the fuss was about, they were maybe short-staffed on the night we were there. Overall, a great hotel & would definitely return (only ever said that about 1 other place)! If they sorted out the pool & a few extra staff, I would have given this place 'excellent'. But thank you for a lovely stay!

Currently sat around the pool on our second to last day :-(. The holiday has been near perfect. We travelled with our 23 month old twins all inclusive in a family suite. The entrance hall on arrival is very impressive with a speedy check in and friendly staff, the holiday was off to a good start! The room was very spacious and clean. There was a curtain separating the babies and us which was good as other places have been sliding doors which I have not liked. The baby pool is freezing! When the mushroom fountain is on it does seem a little warmer, but there isn't a huge difference. Ours always seemed to be fine. The larger pools are warmer but we hardly ventured there. Only 1 slide was available - the large white one as the tube was boarded up, this didn't impact us as ours were too little but it's just for future travellers. The restaurant was great for us, the staff always happy to help with your first drink, trying to get a second was very difficult. The food was fine and always fresh, we always went for tea at 7-15-7-30 as it was easier with the children, any later and you'd be struggling for a high chair (never mind 2) the same goes for breakfast, the later it got the less high chairs there were. The pool bar was is always rather busy but I didn't mind waiting. The snack bar was horrendous, the food was lovely but the wait was just too long! Sometimes only 1 person rushed off their feet! Mikes coffee bar was a favourite of ours, serving everything from Irish coffee to mango smoothies. Cakes and biscuits available at an extra cost (well worth it) We were on the ground floor, the corridors were usually quiet after 11pm which is fine but as with all hotels your upstairs neighbours with high heels and flip flops kept us (not the babies luckily) awake a little some nights. The only HUGE down side and this is a very personal thing is people smoking by the pool. I know it accepted in Spain but we were sat round the baby pool and people (most of the time with no children) lit up cigarettes or cigars and started to smoke them. We did move on a number of occasions. Overall an extremely happy family and we would be very happy to return. Thanks for the memories

Impressive entrance ,welcome/booking in at reception took ages, 2 bars, various entertainment for kids and adults ,snack bar by pool serves large variety of foods 3 pools all interconnected Pleasant modern rooms, Dining room has large variety of hot and cold foods with specialty every day Coffee shop,Italian restaurant,10 mins walk from sandy beach Overall pleasant experience but with a few niggles ,the room had a broken floor lamp that reception replaced when reported,be sure to put the 'tidy room sign 'on your door to make sure you get fresh towels etc.

Just returned from a two week holiday here with best friends and what a brilliant time we all had. Check in was smooth and reception staff were lovely and friendly and we were given our champagne and orange as a welcome drink. Our rooms were a very good size and travelling as two families we had three rooms together which was brilliant too. The rooms are cleaned everyday and to a very high standard, cleaners are lovely and friendly too and always cheerful. Pool area is very good with lots going on every day, your blue team are all amazing and we loved joining in with the Daisy song every day which we managed to learn after a week lol. Matteo and Marta your photographers who are constantly working around the hotel and pools are such lovely people and are always so happy and professional (we purchased some fantastic pics from them), we miss you already Matteo 😁. Restaurant food was fab and so much to choose from, one waiter who stood out to us was Mustafa who was always very helpful and funny. Your staff all work so hard and are always full of information when needed. Bar staff upstairs were good but the bar got very busy some evenings but Jose was always there to take our order from our table. Pool bar was good also and plenty of drinks to choose from. From mikes coffee bar the cookies and cream milkshakes were delicious and we often went there for afternoon shakes and not forgetting tea before bed on some nights. Friday it's pool party, barbecue, inflatable bouncy Slide in the pool, a foam party and in the evening it's white party night where everyone wears white, a lovely day and night and one not to miss. The hotel is about a five minute walk to the shops and beach which are all good. As a group of 8 we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you all and will hopefully be back in the future.

We holidayed at this hotel for 12 yrs on the trot .....twenty years ago! Here at moment for fortnight's holiday this time with our now fully grown up son and his 6 yr old daughter ( our granddaughter). Well of course there are changes - the biggest being the hotel is now primarily all inclusive. That was a major concern for us. No need! Food on offer is still of a good standard and if anyone posts comments to the contrary they must be deluded. Gentlemen can wear shirts to dinner - a very welcome new rule given the extreme heat! For families of children up to age of 12 this hotel goes out of its way to ensure they have fun all day long and into the evening. The entertainment team work their socks off. Our granddaughter is having a whale of a time meeting up and playing with other children of all nationalities. Furthermore she is trying and tasting loads of different foods at lunchtime and at dinner. We also love the fact that there is now an outside dining room. Please note on arrival u will not get ur room until 3 pm) ! This was a bit of an issue for us and our arrival was not greeted with a welcome - rather we were ignored for some time - not good especially being tired and bedraggled as we were from our long journey. However Day 2 now - fully familiar with our surroundings and having a wonderful holiday! If ur a family and u choose this holiday -u will be assured of a fantastic holiday! Thank you H10! Great to c u r continuing the legacy of the late great manager Senor Javier Martinez!

Just back from a very relaxing and satisfying holiday in Lanzarote. This hotel is well run and staff are amazing. We went half board and food was good. Could swap between lunch and dinner. I booked privilege with pool and sea view. Had use of privilege room which was nice to use after day at pool, where we could have beer, wine, spirits (all free) and use of PC's. Kids (teenagers) loved it ;-) I'd stay there again.

I came with my Mum and two young kids, we did half board and had a great holiday. The resort and location is great for kids, loads to see and do, local markets, we also did a trip to Teguise to see the markets there which has a massive play area. We also did a trip to Rancho Texas booked via the Thompson rep in the hotel, it's over half completed but a good day out. The hotel itself is nice, we stayed near the pools and the corridors were a bit shabby, room ok, food good, lots of variety. The other guests were either really old or young families. The first day I put my daughter (4) in the kids club, she let herself out without anyone noticing and made her way back to the room I was mortified and pretty annoyed. I didn't put her in the following day but on the third day she asked to go back and I spoke to the staff about what happened previously, worryingly they hadn't even noticed. I agreed to leave her and I have to say they totally changed my opinion and won me round as my daughter loved it there! Lulu and the mini disco/kids club staff were great, she didn't want to leave and had a fantastic time. She still keeps asking when are we going back?!
