My wife and I stayed here the first week of March, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly & helpful Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the pool which had sun until mid afternoon, there was a kettle in the room which was nice but the teas and coffees weren’t replaced but could pick them up in the dining room. There was also a fridge to keep some drinks cold. The food is plentiful and varied, and you would have to be very fussy not to find anything to eat. The indoor pool was a bonus as the outdoor pool was a bit cold Overall a wonderful stay.

We stayed here for a week in March, just. Were worried about getting away with all the snow. The hotel was lovely. Our room was 306 which I would suggest that you try to avoid as it looks out onto the recycling at the rear of the hotel and there were vehicles arriving from 0430 in the morning which woke us up. This only happened once at this time but the other days it could be from 0600. This room does get the sun in the late afternoon. We had a suite and it was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. There were 2 bottles of water and 2 packets of crisps on one of the tables and we actually thought this was free but it turned out that they were on the mini bar list. A bit confusing. Another thing that I find annoying is that there is a room safe and you have to pay to use it. If there is already a safe in the room it should be free. Another way of getting more money out of you. We were there on bed and breakfast and it was very good. Everything was replenished at regular intervals and the old stuff was taken away before the new food was put out. They even had an outside area where you could have your breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit, cold ham and cheeses, cooked breakfast, pastries, bread, fruit drinks, cereals (but no cornflakes) and tea and coffee machines. The pool area was nice with beds around the pool and quite a lot of beds away from the pool which were quieter (sometimes). There were plenty of beds as the hotel was not full. It did get annoying, especially in the afternoon when loud music was played from a speaker up by the pool, I had to ask/turn down the speaker as a lot of people away from the pool just wanted peace and quiet to read there books etc. There were lots of activities including, table tennis, darts, pétanque, archery, shooting, pilates, zumba, crazy golf and yoga. Something for everybody. There was a festival about 300 yards down the road on the weekend we were there and the loud music went on till 4 o clock in the morning. Bit annoying but not the hotels fault. Another annoying thing was that there was a lot of refurbishment going on inside the hotel and there was no notification that this was going on, not even at check in. Speaking of check in, it took over half an hour for my wife and I to check in, even although there was very little queue. To long in my view. They could do with getting people checked in quicker. The location of the hotel was very good. Only 5 minutes walk from the promenade where there are lots of restaurants and bars. There was a supermarket right across the road for any victuals that you needed. There is a side gate that you can get out of instead of going through the hotel reception which needs your room card to get in and out of. All in all, we enjoyed our holiday and we will probably go back to this hotel again.

Just back from another wonderful holiday in the Lanzarote Princess where the staff in reception are so helpful and attentive. The Animation Team so friendly and good fun. The ladies who clean the rooms (so well) are so polite, cheerful and hard working and even the builders/maintence men were polite and cheerful. The waiting staff and the folks in the shops are all very cheerful and helpful. Well done. Only another 33 weeks until we go back again.

We've stayed at a few 4* hotels in the canaries and this compares very favourably in terms of location, comfort and food quality. The location is in the centre of Playa Blanca with easy access, through a gate & across the road, to a sandy beach and several bars and restaurants. A coastal path takes you to the port with boat trips and ferries to Fuerteventura to the right. If you have a car Punta del Papagayo isn't far and you can drive through the wine region (La Geria) on the way to the airport. Food is good, highlights were fresh crepes in the evening and the omelettes, fresh bread, smoothies and coffee at breakfast. The room was a good size with good location, we had a large balcony which had sun most of the day, there's a kettle and fridge in the room. The pool area is nice with plenty of room and no shortage of sun-beds, there is a covered heated pool but this was quite crowded. The outdoor (freshwater) pool was great it wasn't used much as it was cool so plenty of room for swimming (in early March) WiFi is very good, free and easy to connect to. Entertainment was good and drinks (if not on AI) reasonably priced. A few minor negatives. There is a charge for the safety deposit box which is code operated, most hotels I've been to don't charge for this type of safe. When we checked in some people were offered welcome drinks, we weren't not sure if it was because they were repeat visitors or on AI. Also the cake selection at breakfast (cheesecake, apple sponge, etc) was better than in the evening. The vegetarian selection and food labelling could be improved. There was a large selection of pies one evening but I've no idea what was in any of them.

Just spent a wonderful week here in early March 2018 for some much needed warmth and relaxation. Stopped in a superior pool view room which was superb. Spacious, clean and very comfortable with a lovely double balcony with sun loungers. The facilties at the Hotel were excellent and breakfast was really good with a massive choice. Bars and lounges were OK if a little impersonal but the staff were always excellent from checking in to checking out couldn't fault the stay.

This is our 4th visit to the hotel and my husband and I love it. We hope to return Feb/March 2019, this time we had our 20 month old granddaughter with us which was no problem as the hotel is child friendly. The staff were very attentive, we joined in most of the activities from Archery, pistol shooting and air rifle practice. We hired bikes for the day from the town and cycled along the paved area to the lighthouse. The weather was beautiful, food lovely and we had a lovely bedroom. All in all a lovely holiday.

Just spent a week here on an AI basis. Good weather and Carnival week in Playa Blanca. This was our fourth visit. We had a pool view room which had good storage, well lit bathroom and good air-con. The room was clean with towels replaced daily when we had hung them to reuse. Very friendly chambermaids. Pool was generally quiet with plenty of beds and a heated pool now with cover which is a new addition since we were here last. The restaurant is disappointing. Breakfast: Scrambled egg that was more liquid than solid, mouldy bread, bacon a jumble of rashers. Good choice of fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheese. We are early risers so there was plenty of room. Lunch: this is the best meal, not so busy and not so much choice which is better. Very nice to sit outside when the weather is good, but not enough staff. The used tables don't seem to be cleared - almost to prevent any new diners from sitting at them. Dinner: I appreciate that buffet service is a bit chaotic but the number of staff can't cope with clearing tables and resetting them. There always used to be someone to lead you to a free table, this didn't happen while we were there and led to people milling around looking for somewhere to sit. On the white night in particular there was a singer and diners were staying to finish their wine and listen to the music. The food selection is very wide and varied in quality but not as many dishes are labelled as used to be, some things are unidentifiable, most of it is lukewarm at best. We were invited to dine in La Dolce Vita the a' la carte restaurant. Better than the Oriental we have visited in previous years, nice to be served at the table and a large choice of dishes but the portion sizes vary. You are not required to buy wine now if on AI. The food was at best okay. We would not pay to eat there. Entertainment was varied as expected, the animation team were friendly and worked hard day and night. Special mention to Argentine Fusion who were brilliant. The pool bar was as good as usual with friendly staff and not busy when we were there, I hope in the summer they have extra staff. The hotel bar depended on who served you - some better at mixing drinks than others. The table service wasn't very evident - again not enough staff. There is a temporary bar in the theatre, but no waiter service, another example of more staff required. When we were there the hotel didn't appear that busy, wouldn't like to be there when full, perhaps they will have more staff through summer. Some areas are shabby, the ceilings were being replaced in the hallway on our floor so perhaps the tired carpet will also be replaced when all work is done but I doubt it. If we ever do come back I think we would do B&B. On the whole the main attraction is the location, right opposite the beach and Playa Blanca a short walk away.

Have just returned from a 10 day holiday at this Hotel and after seeing the reviews before we went we were quite confident the Hotel would live up to its 4 star rating and it did. Some of the earlier reviews had negative comments about lots of things but we did not find fault. Excellent reception staff with a nice warm smile at check in, Lovely room with all we needed. Maid service was excellent. The place has plenty of space around the pool with plenty of sun beds. Pools were good albeit a little cold for my 70 year old body. Plenty to keep you occupied throughout the day with all sorts of organised activities put forward by well organised staff with good personalities. Evening entertainment was excellent with at least one show each night then off to the piano bar for a night cap. Some reviews we read about restaurant were a little critical about the standard of the food and the hectic setting but if you can not find something here to suite your palate then there is a problem !!!! We always found plenty to eat to a good standard. Yes the dinning area does get busy but with 450 place setting what do you expect. We could not fault anything about the Hotel. Well done to all the management and staff for making our stay memorable. THANK YOU.

Very enjoyable stay, easy walking distance to Playa Dorada beach, Calle Limones (shopping area). Indoor pool was a bonus, outdoor pools a bit chilly this time of year. Rooms IMHO, very good and well serviced by the maids who came in daily, food, again IMHO, very good and a varied menu to cater for all tastes, restaurant staff very friendly and courteous, as were receptionists. Entertainment was of a much higher standard than some resorts we've stayed at. We (two persons) were HB and were offered a 15% discount to upgrade to all Inclusive on arrival. For us, not wishing to be tied to the hotel decided against. Everything is billed to your room for settlement at the end of the holiday, that said eating and drinking in other establishments and with our final tab at the Lanzarote Princess, for us HB was still the cheaper end option than the all inclusive package offered. Would definitely stay there again... :-)

We have just returned from a fortnight here. This is our third visit and everything was perfect. A great location easy to walk to the beach and shops. We had a pool view room and a lovely bottle of cava and chocolates in our room for our anniversary, which was very thoughtful. The food was plentiful especially the breakfasts. The staff work very hard in the restaurant and in the snack bar. We will definitely be returning again hopefully later in the year.
