We wanted a winter sun holiday to chill out and relax. This hotel was in a great location, with easy access to a range of shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel had many very friendly staff from arriving to departing the reception staff helped with any queries we had. We had 2x large rooms which were clean and well situated. There was a wide selection of good food available. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly. We really enjoyed the week and would certainly visit again.
Reading back over the last couple of reviews and after just returning from this hotel I had to double take to make sure this was the same hotel! Good points about this hotel: - Location - Room was clean & spacious - Entertainment reasonable Bad points: - After paying €1750 (2 adults, 3 month old and 2 year old) for 5 nights at this hotel we expected a lot more then what we got. - Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner served in an underground school canteen type area. Breakfast finishes at 10am, staff start clearing food away at 9.40, refuse to make omelettes (at the omelettes hot plate) when asked, rude lady banging crockery and utensils around the place when we approached the fruit section at 9.45 and started giving out to myself and my child and waving her hands in the air like a mad woman! Rude beyond belief. - all sun beds taken by 8.30/9am - room not cleaned or towels replaced unless we mad e a call to reception at 5pm to request it (except for 1 day) This is a 2 star hotel at best!! Whilst we were there a protest was in place by staff who claim their wages have been cut dispite prices going up for staying in the hotel, fog horns and sirens blaring like something out of Beirut! The best thing about this hotel is the location, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars for a quick escape out of here!!!
Me and my friend booked this 3 weeks prior as we decided to go away last minute for a nice Easter getaway. We travelled on the 13th April and returned on the 20th. We didn't expect much but were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The waiters, reps and animation team really made the holiday. Our room was situated right next to the pool and was clean and spacious. I particularly liked how the beds were comfy and the shower and hairdryer were powerful as this isn't often the case. Going all inclusive in the past I have found the food quite 'samey' and so expected the same however, one of the highlights for us at this hotel was the food. There was so much choice and we never struggled for what to eat, quite the opposite In fact! I liked how they had different themes in the buffet on different nights such as Italian, Mexican etc. We also booked into the other restaurant near the pool which was lovely. The only negative I would make was that it would be nice if you could see out or have windows in the restaurant as it is in the basement and quite dark. The pool side bar also has a lot of choices however we found we didn't go there as much as was full from breakfast still! The pool area was kept clean and it was good to see lots of activities going on such as water polo, mini golf, volley ball. Although I'm more of a sunbathing person if you like that kind of thing you can definitely get involved and it was good to watch. On an evening we watched the entertainment which had a lot of variety and some good acts. We would then go down to the Brandy Well pub where you could get drinks until 12am under the all inclusive. This was a really good option if you weren't ready to finish the night. In terms of location the hotel is situated in a great area close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. You can walk out on a night and there is lots to see nearby. We also went to the beach a couple of times which is a 5 minute walk away and was beautifully clean. On the whole we had a great holiday and would definitely return again.
Good value, central accomadation . Staff are brilliant, all very friendly and hard working, especially in bars and restaurants. Room we had was large and in a briĺliant location near the pool and restaurant. As a mature couple !!! we felt the need to escape the music at the pool at 11 and 3 !!!!!!
The hotel is in a great location and we had a beautiful sea view, the rooms were cleaned everyday which was great apart from they kept taking the towels and not replacing them so we had to keep going to reception to get new towels, also having a kettle in the room would of been handy which apparently you could ask for but didn't find this out until last few days. The girls on reception were very warm and friendly especially Sharon who was extremely helpful. The food was disappointing so we did eat out most evenings. The pool area was very busy and unless you were up and out very early no chance of getting a decent sun bed but as so close to the beach we went there most days. The situation of the hotel is excellent as close to all amenities. Overall was a great holiday but wouldn't do all inclusive again as did not get our money's worth.
I enjoyed a week here over Easter. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Superior Sea View Twin room which I would highly recommend, fabulous views and a lovely balcony to sit out and relax on. I would definitely suggest going for this option. Great food and drinks, plenty of choice and fresh foods. There is a lovely beach right next to the hotel, it is close to the shops and only 15 minutes from Arrecife Airport. The hotel itself puts on a good variety of entertainment in the day & evenings. Good for all ages. My friend and I enjoyed a totally relaxing break, everything was done for us and we could just sit back and enjoy!
The hotel on the first sight was beautiful, after the second view you see the small mistakes (cleanliness, small damages) - especially in the room you can see it. Another disappointment - the wifi was paid (a lot). But the staff was great. I have to start from the reception - there is girl from Slovakia, very nice and helpful, but all the staff was amazing. I didnt understand how they can be all the time smiling - the waiters started at 7:30 at breakfast, continue in pool bar, after that lunch, pool bar, dinner and bars in the main building. And what we appreciate the most - the made no difference between nationalities, richness...In some hotels they kissed ass to Russians, Germans...but here everyone was equal for them. The food was great, various kinds, everybody could choose, also vegetarian. But like almost everywhere - juices and other drinks chemical. Main pool was heated to 25 degrees. The animation team great - many activities for kids.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel from 9th April until the 16th April! We arrived at the hotel about 7.30pm Sunday 9th April. First thoughts were that the hotel was lovely and clean and we were welcomed with smiles from the reception staff! Check in didn't take too long and we were asked if we would like drinks while being told about the hotel facilities! After being told about the hotel and where everything was, we went to our room which was lovely and clean and we had a nice view of the beach from our little balcony! As we arrived late, we decided to go down to have food before unpacking as we would miss food otherwise! We went down to the restaurant which was really busy! We walked in and didn't really know what to do as everyone was rushing around and staff were busy! We finally got put at a table and that was it. Food was okay, we had beef in sauce with potatoes and veg and then left! The pool area was lovely if you could get a sunbed, they say that they don't allow people to reserve sun beds but as soon as we got up in the mornings (around 8.00am) the subbeds would all be taken up which left you with nothing!!! so in the end, we got up early to put our towels down because it's a nightmare if you don't!! Breakfast was lovely and the pool bar was lovely too! Pool bar offer burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, pasta dish, salads etc! We went out for food in the evening just so that we weren't stuck in the hotel all the time! All staff were very polite and we would definitely stay again! Thank you for such a lovely stay!
Brilliant holiday in a brilliant hotel. Staff are so helpful and work very hard. We found the food to be excellent. We had a seaview superior room which was beautiful. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Hotel in a great location, good facilities and all inclusive. I got a bit tired of the food towards the end but that's just me. Staff helpful for booking trips etc. Room was big and clean and amazing sea view from balcony. Even in June there was a shortage of sun loungers round the pool, but isn't there always? 2 exits/entrances to hotel. One right down to beach front with loads of nice bars.. WiFi wasn't the best I think you had to pay but all the bars around had free WiFi anyway.. we found an incredible bar walking right down the beaches, as far as we could. It had bed type loungers and bean bags, it was very Boho, I only wish we had found it sooner. Beach nearby has fish you can snorkel with, they come right up to you and swim around you. Don't forget, there's no time difference in lanzarote, we only realised this on like the 2nd to last day after spending the whole time wondering why nothing was ever on time, how stupid! Good job we don't care. Oh and they do themed restaurant nights once a week, would recommend. Also nice views for a sunrise jog. Drinks and food in hotel nice, lovely staff, entertainment good for families but not my thing, would go again.
