Horrible smelling room.

Awful. We checked in but got to the room and had to walk out. It stank like dogs had been washed there! We complained but they refused to move us. Left and drove 5hrs back home. No refund either.

Peaceful, relaxed hotel

2nd time in 2 years we've stayed here. Both occasions you cannot fault the staff. Friendly. Polite. Always happy to help. Another early departure and they made us up a breakfast bag to take for the journey. Really lovely people. Hotel is peaceful, tucked away from everything. Perfect to relax and unwind

This is not even a hotel! This is a house

This is not even a hotel! This is a house with a garage! I booked this hotel around 5pm. Arrived at 8pm and they were closed! My 20 month old baby and I ended up sleeping in our car. The next day I had Expedia call the "hotel" for a refund and they had the nervous to say that they waited there till 12am for me! I would never book that place again or refer it to a friend! Hen booking hotels in Europe make sure they're open 24 hours. A lot of hotels close early so if you need anything like extra towels..it ain't gonna happen!

Very quiet and peaceful

Really enjoyed the stay here, it was close to Assen circuit and it was in a very quiet and peaceful location which is picturesque although we couldn't see much of the view out of our dorma window. The room itself was adequate, clean and the bed was comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

perfect, secluded little hideaway

we stayed for a weekend, we arrived late but the staff were very helpful and polite, it was set in very tranquil surroundings, everyone was very relaxed and all nationalities were catered for, upon our very early morning departure the staff had left us a bag of drinks, sandwiches and fruit for our journey to the airport, that was a very nice gesture, we would definitely stay there again, it was a lovely little place, to just sit and relax in, even the resident cat was laid back

Prima verblijf in de buurt van Emmen

De kamer viel een beetje tegen. Op de hotels.com app leek de kamer heel erg groot en er stond bij dat je een terras had en openhaard. Dit was niet het geval. Personeel was heel erg aardig en klantvriendelijk! Mooi locatie. Goed eten in het restaurant, enkel het ontbijt weinig wisselends. Prima voor 2 nachtjes en mooie fietsomgeving. Je kan de fietsen kwijt in een schuur van het hotel, ideaal

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Inrichting keurig maar wat ouderwets. Goed voor bejaarde gasten. Zeer rustige ligging, afgelegen. We hadden 3-pers. kamer gereserveerd maar kregen 10 pers. familiekamer! Misschien overboekt? of moesten we wijken voor een bus vol bejaarden de laatste van de twee nachten? Fout van Expedia??

Huisdieren ? ! ?

In het hotel zijn huisdieren toegestaan. Helaas onze tweede avond van 19.00 tot 21.00 uur in gejank en geblaf van een hond gezeten. De volgende ochtend omstreeks 07.50 uur wakker geworden van gejank en geblaf van een hond. Huisdieren geen enkel probleem. Dat ze een keer een kik geven geen probleem, maar zo kun je het als hotelier niet maken. Dit bij het uitchecken in het hotel aangegeven. Sorry we hebben nog niet meer klachten ontvangen. Hiermee was de kous af ? ? ? ? Voor de rest simpel maar goed.

Reservering was niet ontvangen (zo zei men) en het hotel zat vol. Oude kamer gekregen, die eigenlijk niet meer werd gebruikt. Weinig begrip en coulance op basis van problemen en amper een tegemoetkoming. In de omgeving van het hotel is werkelijk niets te beleven.
