The Space:
This is located in Lancefield, just an hour from Melbourne. Experience the charm of tiny house living as you explore nearby Romsey, just a 7-minute drive away, where you'll find beautiful architecture, scenic parks, and bustling local markets. Back at our farm stay, you'll be greeted by our four friendly sheep, adding to the peaceful countryside experience.
Discover scenic walking trails around Mount Macedon, enjoy wine tastings at Cleveland Winery or Hanging Rock Winery, and experience the natural beauty of the iconic Hanging Rock.
After a day of exploring, retreat to your snug 113-square-foot tiny home nestled among the trees. It features split-system air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette, cooking essentials, and a modern bathroom with an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that we are a self-catering accommodation and have two holiday homes. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and it's surroundings, but please ensure that you close any gates you pass through due to the presence of our sheep. Please note that access to the shed is restricted and is off-limits.
If you're interested, we offer the following items for pre-order:
- Gas BBQ is available by prior notice
- Firepit available for guest use. Firewood can also be provided for an additional $10.
- Breakfast is offered at an additional cost of $10 per person. We have coffee, tea, milk, bread, eggs, bacon, salt, pepper & tomato sauce. If you prefer to dine outdoors, we offer a small gazebo for shade equipped with a couple of chairs.
Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

This is a peaceful tiny house retreat in the tranquil town of Lancefield, just an hour's drive from Melbourne and close to the nearby towns of Romsey, Mount Macedon, and Kilmore.
While you're here, experience our farm stay and explore the natural beauty of the Macedon Ranges. Visit Mount Macedon for panoramic views and scenic walking trails, or discover the iconic Hanging Rock, renowned for its striking rock formations, breathtaking vistas, and fascinating history.
After exploring, enjoy a wine tasting and meal at Cleveland Winery or Hanging Rock Winery, both known for their cool-climate wines and picturesque vineyard settings. Before heading back, stop by Lancefield Bakery for freshly baked bread, pastries, and local treats.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1 hr drive from Melbourne
- 6 mins drive from Romsey
- 16 mins drive from Kilmore
- 25 mins drive from Kyneton
- 25 mins from Mount Macedon
By public transport: There is a bus that comes from Sunbury but having a car is essential as there is no taxi service or buses that run regularly
Other Things to Note:
- Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone has a good signal while the rest have no signal
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have recycling bins on the premises for use
- We advise guests to clean up their cigarette butts
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- We have a small dog on the premises within the fenced area
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Farm guidelines
- Please be advised that we have 4-sheep on our property
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban period
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
