Very disappointed with the motel. Stayed here two years ago. Lovely couple made us so welcome BUT it has now changed hands. The room was ok ish. Bed clean. Needed a good vacuum. Decor old and out of date. No milk supplied or tea towel and wettex. Outside of the property was run down and messy. Gutters full of grass and lawn over grown. If we hadn’t paid we would not have stopped. We were the only guests. Don’t bother booking here.

Sorry but this accommodation was a let down, they have put a lot of effort into trying to make it homely but it just dropped the ball in a few places. The toilet was not clean and it was the worst bed ive slept on in years

Ideal room & nice touches

Perfect stay, rooms clean, tidy & bed comfy with great linen & duvet. The little touches of homemade cookies, welcome note and the weather for the next day with chocolates was a great touch. I have stayed in a number of places in Lakes, and this one is so far my favorite so will definitely be returning.

Easy to find in a good location with so many thoughtful finishing touches, including welcomes cookies and weather info for the following day. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us but we still managed to walk to the beach and we will return if we come back to Australia

Such a happy, welcoming motel! From the beaming friendly staff on reception to the home made cookies in our room and the chocolates on the bed! Lots of little homely touches around the room, I especially loved the native animal pictures. We also enjoyed sitting up in the comfy bed watching complimentary Netflix on the massive tv!
