Heaven on the lake

A warm and inviting house situated on the best part of Lake Rabun. The outdoor spaces are wonderful for those that need to relax but there are plenty of activities for the younger crowd as well. Perfect for any size gathering. The kitchen is fully appointed but there's a new restaurant just steps away in case you're not in the mood to cook. Hiking trails near by and along with shopping in nearby Clayton/Tallulah Falls.

Amazing property and location!

We had an incredibly stay at Lake Rabun! The house was beyond what we expected and our family had the best time we have had in years! Communicating with the owner and manager was very easy and we hope to be back!

Magical

This property was full of delightful surprises not mentioned in the original description. Completely on trend with a pickleball court and trampoline. And a path to the charming Lake Raybun Hotel and Restaurant ( currently celebrating 100 years on the Lake) was visited by our group at least 3 times. Waterfalls and hiking within a few minutes really worked for our group too! Our stay at StoneHedge was completely wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. Communication with Logan and Michael was immediate and always pleasant. It’s difficult to describe the spirit that abounds at Lakemont. I say, go experience it for yourself.

Our group of 10 had a great week at this beautiful property — one of a very few available for short term rental on Lake Rabun. The house was exactly as advertised, with plenty of room for our group, well equipped kitchen, peaceful views. The boathouse porch was perfect for morning yoga and cocktails at dusk. Communication with owner, check in and check out could not have gone smoother. Highly recommend.

Utter Perfection.

This had everything you could look for in a rental: beautiful location, clean, nice linens, tons of room to spread out, lots of toys, well appointed kitchen, great communication, etc etc etc. We had a multigenerational family reunion and somehow managed glowing feedback from each and every person. We very much hope to return!

Perfectly Splendid

Hard to put into words how incredible the view, property, house, lake, surrounding area all were. The in house activities were perfect with ping pong, guitar hero, wii bowling and pool table...entire group of 7 were fully entertained. The house was rather cozy considering it’s size. It was truly like having your own mini resort. Outdoor swing, fire pit, basketball hoop, multiple pathways, trampoline, boathouse, fishing, kayaks, etc....so much to occupy everyone! Even a fenced area along lake for little ones to play yet be safe. The family is very fortunate to have this property and we felt very fortunate they are willing to share it! We were too early in the season to even go in the water and seasonal places weren’t open but it was still amazing. Would return in a heartbeat! Thank you

Amazing Property for the Whole Family!

This property was exactly as described and more! Our family was gathering to celebrate my wife’s 72nd birthday. We wanted a house big enough to accommodate 6 adults and 5 children, ages 5-12, with a lake view and lots of things to do! The house is beautiful, with spacious outside seating on the porches, an incredible boathouse and dock area for swimming and fishing, a fire pit, and a sports court for basketball and tennis. The view of the lake is stunning and you are in a private cove. The grandkids had a blast! Inside, there was a pool table, ping pong and games galore! So comfortable and close to area activities. We picked apples and went on a scavenger hunt at nearby orchards, visited downtown Clayton and enjoyed dinners at nearby farm-to-table restaurants. This was the perfect place for a fun, family vacation! We will come back! A big thumbs up!

Special place!

We stayed at Stonehaven over Labor Day, and to say we were pleased is an understatement. The home and grounds are breathtaking. This is truly a special place and it was such a treat to get to experience it. The home, boathouse, and property are well- maintained, appointed, and equipped. The home has everything you need for a wonderful stay! Thank you for having us.

Great Pandemic Vacation!

We had a wonderful week with extended family at Stonehaven. It is a special property in a special place, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to be part of it. Our group ranged from 4-76 years old and everyone enjoyed. Tons of space and lots of lake and house entertainment. Hope to be back!

Magical Stay at Stonehaven

This is a first class property with gorgeous lake views and access. Perfect for a large family but intimate and charming at the same time! Every bedroom was spacious with adjoining bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen and gathering areas are truly amazing! Boat house with TV was perfect for a day of boating, swimming, and watching college football all at the same time! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Fantastic week at the lake

This property is top-notch in every sense and I highly recommend it. Beyond the fabulous setting and convenient location, Stonehaven had everything we needed both inside and outside for a fun and relaxing family vacation. The property manager was in regular communication and quite responsive if we needed anything. If you are looking for a spacious, high-end mountain-lake rental, look no further.
