Nestled just a stone's throw from the ocean, our newly renovated retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. Watch the waves crashing on the sand from one of the outdoor decks or from the comfort of your spacious living area. The enclosed yard ensures that kids and furry friends have somewhere secure to play. Take one of two paths directly out your front gate to the beach, and only 600 meters walk to the The Tavern & General Store.

From the unassuming entry, step inside to discover an ample living and dining area, full-sized kitchen, inside outside living, two bathrooms and four generously sized bedrooms, including a bunk room. The Dunes has a large well appointed kitchen, high speed satellite internet and number of decks and spaces for you to relax on - providing ample space for family and friends to unwind. With comfort in mind, there is reverse cycle air conditioning, solid fuel heating and ceiling fans provided. As night sets, gather around the fire pit in the front yard and enjoy the crackling fire under the stars. The Dunes promises a relaxing tranquil stay, nostalgic beach holiday memories and the soothing sounds of the sea and local birdlife.

Your host lives nearby and is available should you need anything during your stay. The Dunes is located in a quiet street with neighbours each side.

Ample parking off street parking, with access is via a short 40mtr gravel driveway.

There is a local town and VLine bus service just outside the door, interacting with Melbourne, Canberra and NSW South Coast services.
Please do not clean, wash, or cook crabs or shellfish inside. Outdoor cooking and eating facilitates are available. We also ask that you ventilate the house when cooking so that odours are minimised.

Quiet hours must be adhered to 2200hrs -0800hrs.

Please promptly pick up and dispose of any animal droppings in designated red waste bin to help maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Upon departure, guests with pets are kindly asked to ensure that no pet hair is left behind. As part of our pet policy, we request that guests thoroughly vacuum the property to remove any pet hair to ensure this. Please ensure that your fury friend is also vaccinated / protected against ticks due to the coastal setting and potential tick prone coastal area.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, please ensure that you bring their own bed. If applicable,
Breach of house rules may result in being asked to leave the property or additional charges / cleaning fees being incurred.

If you’ve enjoyed using the BBQ during your stay, please include in your clean-up prior to departure.

Please lock doors and turn off lights and air conditioning if you leave the premises and when checking out. Please return the keys to the lock-box.

Please report and breakages if they occur - including the use of any first aid equipment.

Guests are to leave the premises clean and tidy, and dishes are to be washed in the dishwasher. If required, please feel free to leave the dishwasher running as you depart.

Couldn't be any better!

We had a fantastic experience staying here, property was recently renovated and very new. Everything worked perfectly and the kitchen was stocked with a good range of cookware (the ninja blender a godsend).Mentioned to Grant we were interested in catching some prawns and they dropped off some buckets and nets for us. Any other requests were very quickly handled by Grant and his partner. Highly recommend!
