Better wifi would be great, good central location to Main Street community and burger place next door

better wifi and better heat please yes it was fine, but still

This was the least expensive lodging I could find in the area. Room wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. I'd say everything was in the condition I expected given how much I paid for it. If I were to go back to that area again on a tight budget i'd stay there again, but if I wanted a more luxurious vacation I would probably spend a little more on a nicer place.

Just isn't what i expect from a hotel. Sheets were noticeably worn, can was filthy, microwave would work unless light switch was on, there is an uncovered window in the dressing area of the bathroom That if people are on the balcony behind us they could see us dress, the lighting was awful.... Dark even when lights are on, lights only on one side of the mirror and blinding when on... Very hard to apply make up with that lighting. Staff was really nice though.

It is very run down. If you enjoy being with nature you will love the bees and ants everywhere.

The motel was easy to find as it it right on hwy 28, it is in a good location we could walk to most everything we wanted to do. It has several restaurants near by "Char Pit" (burgers etc) is right next door, Mini Golf about 1 1/2 blocks up the street, the beach is about the same distance.

The motel was old and in need of renovation. The bed was very hard, even to my husband, who likes a hard bed. The manager was very kind and accommodating. He found me a coffee maker for the room when I asked for one. Our room didn't have an air conditioner, coffee maker or hair dryer. It did have an old microwave and a small old refrigerator. The tv did have good reception and lots of channels. It was only a few minutes walk to King's Beach. Their was a very good local hamburger joint/ ice cream shop, The Char Pit, next door.

It's a nice hotel with clean and quite rooms centrally located near shopping and the casinos in north Lake Tahoe.

Very limited contact with staff, location okay for planned outing, price within range. However the room was dirty and used food containers were left in the room. The old saying seems appropriate: "you get what you pay for." Next hotel price was about double this cost. Will probably use that option when we return.

Very disappointing especially for the 156% inflated price you got us to pay because it wasn't worth it. It was basic and sloppy and lacked lustre which detracted from our vacation experience.

Skiing Northstar by myself. Wanted close and low cost. Room large, clean as a hound's tooth, new carpet, table, desk, plenty of hot water, heat controlled via thermostat. Walk to restaurants, bakery, movie theater, even beach park on the lake if you wanted. Old motel by well maintained.Neal, the owner was very helpful.

Room was terrible. Bed was old, broken down and hard as rock. No air conditioning. Only stayed a few hours then left and went somewhere else.

Stayed here because it was the cheapest rate for the weekend. Basically, you get what you pay for. If you are just going up to Tahoe and need a place to sleep, there's nothing wrong with Stevenson's. A major plus is the well maintained hot tub, which feels amazing after a day on the slopes.

Really nice for the price. The rooms were old, but clean and pretty big. The staff was so friendly and laid back. I definitely recommend this hotel for young people who just need a cheap place to stay! If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you—but it's cute and comfortable. I loved staying at Stevenson's; I'll definitely be going back. :)

We went skiing in Squaw valley and stayed at Stevenson's Holiday Inn for one night and we were very pleased. We wanted something cheap and not too far away from the slopes. Since we were tired after a day of skiing we just arrived to our room in the evening, took a shower and went to bed. If that is what you are looking for, then Stevenson's is perfect. The manager is very nice and the rooms are simple but clean (so if you want something fancy, then this is not the right place). We will definitely go back!

The couple who runs this place were really nice, they said we got such a great deal on it because there's a storm the weekend we were there and there wouldn't be many people booking. The place itself isn't fancy or anything, but it was spacious, with a nice bathroom and a minifridge. I was definitely a little skeptical to go here at first based on the reviews and the low price, but we got more than we expected, and it was pretty nice.

Some steps were mission off stairs it was cry dirty and run down I want my money back!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! the pictures are all lies! Did I mention I want my money back!

I was looking for a cheap place to stay while I skied North Lake Tahoe. The owner is real nice. The price was cheap. The accomodations were okay for what I paid.

Obviously the night we arrived, there was a demand for two bed rooms and the hotel owner/operator had sold our reserved room to someone else, well at least he accommodated us for two rooms, we caught him peeping through our window that evening. I have to honestly say The place was the lowest level and dirtiest I have ever been to in my life and I have been to all of them all levels and I am 47. Very obvious old stain on the towels, the chairs, the walls... but the price was cheap for the area, and depending on the company sometimes I have a limited spending budget, and it doesn't stop me from going there again as long as I bring my own towels, soap and coffee.

Motel grounds were very, very, very dirty. I Could not I believe I book this place for my family and I. I was totally embarrassed. Office smelled awful of food being cooked by manager. Switched rooms only to find dirty carpets that smelled of urine. [...]
