The owner very nicely helps on my questions. You can feel he takes his business very seriously. Good location. Will come here again next year.

The guy at the desk was friendly. Its walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. But unfortunately the place has not been maintained or updated in decades. The bathroom was dirty and the bed was really uncomfortable. It was probably the original bed from when the place opened, 30-40 years ago. Seems like they are just taking the money and not putting anything back into the place. Sad because it probably used to be a nice place to stay. I'll pay a few dollars more next time and stay at a cleaner and more comfortable place.

Room was big and clean but it is really outdated, tv isnt flat screen, shower handles falling apart, no wifi, heater doesnt work well lighting is bad, it is really old and it needs rework, i will not recommend this hotel at this condition

It's pretty basic but the owner is a really nice guy. Or at least he was with me. Great location.

Everything was smooth. Simple check in. Parking by room. Inside all what you need. Heater worked perfect. Beautiful place, close to the lake. Many stores and restaurants around. Just 20 min away from the Granlibakken Ski and Sledding Hill. I love our weekend vacation.

Close to everything in Kingsbeach. Neil Takes good care of everyone.

Better wifi would be great, good central location to Main Street community and burger place next door

better wifi and better heat please yes it was fine, but still

This was the least expensive lodging I could find in the area. Room wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. I'd say everything was in the condition I expected given how much I paid for it. If I were to go back to that area again on a tight budget i'd stay there again, but if I wanted a more luxurious vacation I would probably spend a little more on a nicer place.

Just isn't what i expect from a hotel. Sheets were noticeably worn, can was filthy, microwave would work unless light switch was on, there is an uncovered window in the dressing area of the bathroom That if people are on the balcony behind us they could see us dress, the lighting was awful.... Dark even when lights are on, lights only on one side of the mirror and blinding when on... Very hard to apply make up with that lighting. Staff was really nice though.

It is very run down. If you enjoy being with nature you will love the bees and ants everywhere.

The motel was easy to find as it it right on hwy 28, it is in a good location we could walk to most everything we wanted to do. It has several restaurants near by "Char Pit" (burgers etc) is right next door, Mini Golf about 1 1/2 blocks up the street, the beach is about the same distance.

The motel was old and in need of renovation. The bed was very hard, even to my husband, who likes a hard bed. The manager was very kind and accommodating. He found me a coffee maker for the room when I asked for one. Our room didn't have an air conditioner, coffee maker or hair dryer. It did have an old microwave and a small old refrigerator. The tv did have good reception and lots of channels. It was only a few minutes walk to King's Beach. Their was a very good local hamburger joint/ ice cream shop, The Char Pit, next door.

It's a nice hotel with clean and quite rooms centrally located near shopping and the casinos in north Lake Tahoe.

Very limited contact with staff, location okay for planned outing, price within range. However the room was dirty and used food containers were left in the room. The old saying seems appropriate: "you get what you pay for." Next hotel price was about double this cost. Will probably use that option when we return.

Very disappointing especially for the 156% inflated price you got us to pay because it wasn't worth it. It was basic and sloppy and lacked lustre which detracted from our vacation experience.

Skiing Northstar by myself. Wanted close and low cost. Room large, clean as a hound's tooth, new carpet, table, desk, plenty of hot water, heat controlled via thermostat. Walk to restaurants, bakery, movie theater, even beach park on the lake if you wanted. Old motel by well maintained.Neal, the owner was very helpful.

Room was terrible. Bed was old, broken down and hard as rock. No air conditioning. Only stayed a few hours then left and went somewhere else.

Stayed here because it was the cheapest rate for the weekend. Basically, you get what you pay for. If you are just going up to Tahoe and need a place to sleep, there's nothing wrong with Stevenson's. A major plus is the well maintained hot tub, which feels amazing after a day on the slopes.

Really nice for the price. The rooms were old, but clean and pretty big. The staff was so friendly and laid back. I definitely recommend this hotel for young people who just need a cheap place to stay! If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you—but it's cute and comfortable. I loved staying at Stevenson's; I'll definitely be going back. :)
