It is a condo style place. Claustrophobic rooms, very old place , terrible beds, not clean. I was not aware that dogs are welcome at this place, so that was on a negative side for me (allergies and cleanness issue). Big dogs were not on their leashes, others guests let them just run around , jumping in front of you, which was very uncomfortable and frightening. We ended up leaving from Tahoe two hours after checking in. In addition, the receptionist staff (the girl who worked that day) was not friendly at all. She took our phone numbers and promised to call us as soon as the rooms were ready. That never happened . The only positive feature about this place - good location . We will never stay here again.

Great location for Northstar resort activities. My boys (7&12) loved it. Room can get warm in the late afternoon during the summer (no ac -- fan and vent-free evaporative cooler provided). Do be aware that there are a lot of yellow jackets in the Northstar/Truckee area. No stings on our family trip but there presence can be a bit of a nuisance. The resort is about 15-20 mins from Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe. We would return to the Northstar resorts.

First time to Tahoe and had the opportunity to enjoy this resort... Great accommodations and amenities! Had an unforgettable time...would go here again any second...a perfect place to enjoy nature and gorgeous views

Everything was excellent from the staff to the condo we stayed in. The whole trip was amazing!

Room needs updating all around, new furniture and decor. Everything was old and outdated. Bed was very soft.

Comfortable studio with a queen bed and sleep sofa, and a fully equipped kitchenette. We did not use the kitchen though as the Northstar village is a short walk, and there is even a shuttle service to get there in under 5 minutes.

We were charged a daily resort fee. This fee was not on our original confirmation email we paid for the stay in advance and no fee was indicated. We then saw the added fee on our charge card after our stay

These condos are owned by owners. This was not a hotel. No air conditioning at all. Dirty room, carpet needs to be replaced, overall place needs to be upgraded. Very outdated and dingy. Not a 3 star category. Very misleading pictures. This place was a dump, more like a motel 1 star or 2.

This hotel is beautiful. The one bedroom suite was perfect. The full kitchen was really a full kitchen. The views are incredible. The onsite shops and restaurants are centrally located and easily accessible. The gondola up the mountain is a great way to see the area and access the great hiking and bike trails. This location is some what central. It is easy to get to Kings Beach and to Squaw Valley. I would recommend this hotel. Kyle at the front desk did an awesome job of laying out the property and all it has to offer. We had a great stay at the Northstar resort.

Great stay, great price, lots of room for family and convenient to central area in northstar.

Traveled to Northstar to downhill mountain bike and stayed in one of the many condos near the base area. The room was very cozy and had everything you need to prepare your own meals. The only complaint I had was having to walk uphill each day to get my bike and get on the lifts. The description was vague as to how close the lodging was to the base and after having traveled there I would consider staying somewhere a little closer next time. Check-in/check-out was easy but the staff was not accommodating when we asked to stay 3 hours past check-out so my wife would have somewhere to relax while I finished my day on the bike trails. There was hardly anyone in the complex so I did not believe them when the reason was someone checking-in to our unit that same day.

Nice accommodations in fun environment. Unfortunately the wifi did not work in our condo.

Very nice ,great service very reasonable prices would stay again

Warm comfortable days with cool nights in natures beautiful mountain

very convenient location. room is a bit small for 4 no air conditioning has good club

My family and I LOVE coming up to Northstar in the summer! This was our second annual trip and we plan on coming up every year around this time. We just love the outdoor feel up here, and the amenities are awesome! Every year it's just a chance for my family and I to get away from the busyness of life in the city, to quiet all the noise, and just enjoy some great family time together.

The room was very nice. We had 4 in out group with 2 queen beds so it was a bit tight. There is no AC so the room was very stuffy. There was also no closet so we were stacking our bags on top of the armoire. It would have been great with just 2 people. All in all our stay was wonderful though. There is pleanty to do at Lake Tohoe and everywhere we are was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

The condo was cute & comfy. The location was good for our event that was only 1 mile away, but kind of far from other things like stores & places to eat.

We had the "economy" studio apt. Room. It was wonderful. Clean spacious for 2people. Balcony with BBQ and table and rocking chairs. Full kitchen. Hugh TV. 2 closest for clothes but no dressers. No air conditioning but ceiling fan and windows to open. Walking distance to village. Yes we would come here again

Liked the place, but i thought i was staying in Northstar Village! The village was only 5 min. walk from our unit. Very comfort but, it was hot up in Tahoe and the unit didn't have a/c or a fan. But over all nice place!!!!!
