Bed sheets had rips in them and were never changed for the 4 days we were there. Room service would make the bed with the same dirty sheets every single day

The hotel check in was quick and easy. The rest of the stay at hotel was terrible!! the hallway to the room was dirty and looked as though the employees had not swept for weeks. The hallway to the rooms had serious odor smell of " Weed" The hot tub was not hot but cold. I would never stay at this hotel ever again.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Disgusting!!

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 25 years. We were there from July 23rd through July 28th 2017. The casino air conditioning went out the second night we were there and was still out when we left. The pool was closed three days in a row until noon or so because they couldn't keep it chlorinated. The room smelled like mold and the carpet was damp. The cable went out twice and we had to wait for maintenance to reprogram it each time. We ate one time at the Latin Soul restaurant, the food was cold and took forever to arrive. The Timbers restaurant was good. The staff couldn't have cared less about these issues. Unfortunately this will be our last visit to Lakeside Inn.

Have stayed here for yrs & the staff is very friendly. This year the grounds were dirty and full of weeds. Pool & patio area was dirty. Rooms smelled moldy and our shower had water leaking into the wall. The casino had no a/c for several days. We have always liked this place and location, it's a shame they have let it get in this condition. We won't go back.

we stayed during the week so it wasn't as crowed as i've seen it. Nice hotel close to the stateline so we walked down to the bigger casino areas. Our room view wasn't great (facing the back parking lot) but it was still great VERY nice staff and good food inside the casino. Pool was nice and rooms were clean.

Advertise non-smoking rooms! Allows smoking everywhere-else! Not Good for non-smokers! We did not get to sleep until 3:00 in the morning! The upstairs neighbors kept us awake, with their talking and sliding the glass door open & closed, so they could go outside to smoke cigarettes! AWG!

Arrived ahead of a blizzard, and had a wonderful 2 nights.

We used a coupon, so we were happy that we saved $20 on two nights. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room, which we weren't used to, but we did alright without one. The casino had a nice restaurant with good breakfast and early bird dinner specials, and the casino had deals for joining their rewards program. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Great food and even better wait staff. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel was a great price. The hotel rooms are exactly as the picture showed. No elevator to 2ND floor and I have a bad knee and use a cane. But I was able to do the stairs everyday for 5 days. No I didn't ask to change rooms. The location is great because in on the main road you need ri get to activities at Lake Tahoe.

Just okay. Staff was great. Management was very poor. Especially in the casino. The bartenders were great but the casino hostesses were rude. I spent over $1000.00 gambling in one day with out a card and asked for a comp for breakfast and lunch and the hostess acted like I was trying to rip the casino off! I even should them proof of the atm withdrawals at there atm machine. The hostess was not polite and she acted like I was some kinda rip off artist.I stayed there for three days.I was there for my daughters wedding. Never again.

We thought we would be staying inside the casino on a separate floor, only to find out the rooms were outside behind parking lot. It had a motel vibe not a casino resort. Rooms were clean though. AC never shut off just ran all night.

Service nice people nice rooms great shower pressure kinda slow but it was better than the next hotel I'm staying at

Our ratings provide some review. Although not a new hotel, service, amenities price with pets etc could not be beat. Location is great as well. Timbers and Latin Soul eats are great. Timbers serve one not so good lunch but other offerings great and service great. Staff personnel want to help.

Parking was inadequate , had to park under a tree that dripped tree syrup on my car.. Internet connection was so weak that it was not worth even trying to navigate the Internet..

Had a great trip. Loved the restaurant and casino dealers. Especially the guy that looks like he's Jim Belushi's brother.

What a great place to stay. Located just a bit past the other major hotels. This is the spot where the locals go. Here are the pro's: Great Price. All you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse $30. Steak and Lobster $20. One deck blackjack with $5 minimum. Clean large outdoor spa. $2 drinks. Flat screen tv. Free in-room coffee. Large outdoor deck (other hotels do not let you open the windows due to Nevada Laws.) Pets aloud with a surcharge. The breakfast is awesome. Like wheat pancakes with caramel / condensed milk with eggs and bacon for $5, Excellent service and friendly staff. Season pass holders get a free drink 4-7 pm. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Cabin type décor. Rooms are separated from the casino so it's not necessary to breath in cigarette smoke to get to the room. Free Wi-Fi. Negatives: Can hear the people talking in the room next door a little bit. Only the suites have a spa in the room. No valet parking or bellhop. No dance club. Outdoor pool only.

Concierge staff were not very polite. Had to return to the front desk 3 times because key would not work for room and we had two different keys. hotel is very old and in certain areas run down

Was advertised a room with two queen size beds, they were not queen size, definitely just full size. The room, was on the second floor. It was very quiet, the casino was small, and they often didn't have specific games open. Luckily all the bigger casino's are only a ten minute walk or $5 cab ride. The overall experience was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly, and their in house restaurant, which offers $5 breakfast, And $20 steak and lobster dinner far exceeded our expectation. The dining area is beautiful, the food was fresh, and very well prepared! The pool and hot tub were a bonus. If your looking for something other than a big resort, and don't want to stay at a sketchy motel this is a good place for anyone.

The room was very cozy, the beds and the walls were designed to the forest environment
