We used a coupon, so we were happy that we saved $20 on two nights. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room, which we weren't used to, but we did alright without one. The casino had a nice restaurant with good breakfast and early bird dinner specials, and the casino had deals for joining their rewards program. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Great food and even better wait staff. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel was a great price. The hotel rooms are exactly as the picture showed. No elevator to 2ND floor and I have a bad knee and use a cane. But I was able to do the stairs everyday for 5 days. No I didn't ask to change rooms. The location is great because in on the main road you need ri get to activities at Lake Tahoe.

Just okay. Staff was great. Management was very poor. Especially in the casino. The bartenders were great but the casino hostesses were rude. I spent over $1000.00 gambling in one day with out a card and asked for a comp for breakfast and lunch and the hostess acted like I was trying to rip the casino off! I even should them proof of the atm withdrawals at there atm machine. The hostess was not polite and she acted like I was some kinda rip off artist.I stayed there for three days.I was there for my daughters wedding. Never again.

We thought we would be staying inside the casino on a separate floor, only to find out the rooms were outside behind parking lot. It had a motel vibe not a casino resort. Rooms were clean though. AC never shut off just ran all night.

Service nice people nice rooms great shower pressure kinda slow but it was better than the next hotel I'm staying at

Our ratings provide some review. Although not a new hotel, service, amenities price with pets etc could not be beat. Location is great as well. Timbers and Latin Soul eats are great. Timbers serve one not so good lunch but other offerings great and service great. Staff personnel want to help.

Parking was inadequate , had to park under a tree that dripped tree syrup on my car.. Internet connection was so weak that it was not worth even trying to navigate the Internet..

Had a great trip. Loved the restaurant and casino dealers. Especially the guy that looks like he's Jim Belushi's brother.

What a great place to stay. Located just a bit past the other major hotels. This is the spot where the locals go. Here are the pro's: Great Price. All you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse $30. Steak and Lobster $20. One deck blackjack with $5 minimum. Clean large outdoor spa. $2 drinks. Flat screen tv. Free in-room coffee. Large outdoor deck (other hotels do not let you open the windows due to Nevada Laws.) Pets aloud with a surcharge. The breakfast is awesome. Like wheat pancakes with caramel / condensed milk with eggs and bacon for $5, Excellent service and friendly staff. Season pass holders get a free drink 4-7 pm. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Cabin type décor. Rooms are separated from the casino so it's not necessary to breath in cigarette smoke to get to the room. Free Wi-Fi. Negatives: Can hear the people talking in the room next door a little bit. Only the suites have a spa in the room. No valet parking or bellhop. No dance club. Outdoor pool only.

Concierge staff were not very polite. Had to return to the front desk 3 times because key would not work for room and we had two different keys. hotel is very old and in certain areas run down

Was advertised a room with two queen size beds, they were not queen size, definitely just full size. The room, was on the second floor. It was very quiet, the casino was small, and they often didn't have specific games open. Luckily all the bigger casino's are only a ten minute walk or $5 cab ride. The overall experience was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly, and their in house restaurant, which offers $5 breakfast, And $20 steak and lobster dinner far exceeded our expectation. The dining area is beautiful, the food was fresh, and very well prepared! The pool and hot tub were a bonus. If your looking for something other than a big resort, and don't want to stay at a sketchy motel this is a good place for anyone.

The room was very cozy, the beds and the walls were designed to the forest environment

The room was clean and just fine for one night. Did not eat in restaurants as the smelled of smoke like caseno. Some crazy young people in rooms near by but we lived through it. Not for children.

small casino and not outside your room ... some rooms are not to the pool 150 to 166 lower level 2nd fl is only view of pool if looking for a nice room 275 is with hot tub but o view but better then 253... just will say it is the nice place but some room need flat screen

It was perfect, had a balcony and was quiet. Check in was quick and location was good.

The location is convenient forTahoe, the room was comfortable, a little pricy.

have styed here before; convenient location, good food

Room was huge, newly redone, good looking furnishings, great bed and steak and lobster for $15.99 with great service, would stay here again and recommend the Lakeside to anyone going to South Lake Tahoe.

Happy with visit and would recommend to others. Thanks
