Wonderful location to anything you wanted to do. We love Lake Placid
BEWARE: HOST
We were charged $27.00 for some furniture repair stuff because we left a white spot on her table!!
We were very careful and used a towel but it happened anyway. She didn’t provide placemats!
We also had to buy toilet paper and paper towels, ran out of trash bags! We loved the house but a difficult Host to deal with. Be prepared if you rent this house!

Clean and comfortable, under equipped kitchen and charged me more than listed for
The house is nice and has nice comfortable furniture, but the kitchen is pretty poorly equipped for cooking (not much in the way of dishes, utensils, etc). I booked and paid for the house and then prior to our stay I was contacted by the owner saying she didn't know how I was able to get the price I did and then sent me another bill for more money.
