Phenomenal Property
I would 100% recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to Lake Lure. The check in process was easy and the property manager was so responsive and helped us to be prepared. The home itself is stunning and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. I would come back in a heartbeat and honestly had the best stay!!

Perfect Week at the Lake
Mallard Cove exceeded or expectations. The home was in a private cove, conveniently located to Ingles and multiple lakeside dining options. Boathouse, dock and fire pit were a hit! —Kids enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The house was stocked with everything we needed to feel like home. The pontoon boat was spacious and clean. We will definitely be back next year!

Great week at Mallard Cove!
Our family stayed for a week at Mallard Cove. It was probably the nicest home that we have ever stayed in on Lake Lure. All of the beautiful pictures on the website could not begin to depict the beauty and detail in this great house. The house was well appropriated with all needs being met and many fine details to make the stay wonderful. Also, I have to give a shout out to Buffalo Junction Properties and Sue Gage. We had a few minor issues that were addressed immediately and efficiently by the property managers. They were helpful and easy to get a hold of. I would recommend the house at Mallard Cove and Buffalo Junction Properties with 7 stars if there was such a qualification.

The property was absolutely, amazingly beautiful! Everything we needed was right there!! The only time we left the house was to go get groceries, or to go on a little boat ride! By far one of the nicest places we have stayed!! The owners were super nice, and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a private, quite getaway!! Definitely will come back to this location!

Great 3 day getaway
We chose this house for our yearly get away. It was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well appointed. Use of the pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boards was one of the reasons that we chose this property. Lake Lure is beautiful and the house is located on a quiet cove with an amazing view. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for small family gathering in Lake Lure
Mallard Cove was absolutely wonderful! My two children and their spouses, my husband and I couldn’t have found a better place. The house has plenty of spaces fir everyone to gather or sit back and relax. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pontoon boat and sitting in the deck.
