Autumn Ridge is one of the coziest, most relaxing homes we offer! Everyone who enters reports how comfortable and inviting Autumn Ridge makes them feel.

Log cabin offering three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms set within Rumbling Bald Resort, just 10 miles from Chimney Rock State Park. With two levels and 2,233 square feet (plus deck space), this cabin will sleep a total of eight guests and has parking for three vehicles.

Enjoy the rocking chair front porch, screened-in porch, and open grilling deck for a whole lot of nature watching.

Are you dreaming of cooking a proper country breakfast or the perfect family dinner? The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are numerous areas to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stovetop with oven, and cooking and eating utensils to stir up some delicious meals during your stay. The kitchen features abundant counter space!

Autumn Ridge's living room is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Gather around for a game of cards, watch a movie on the large flat screen, or cozy up next to the gas fireplace. We are sure you won't forget the good times and memories made here!

You will also find the first of three bedrooms on the main level. This master suite features a king-size bed, an electric fireplace, and a flat-screen TV.

Upstairs, you will find bedrooms two and three. One features a king-sized bed, an electric fireplace, and a flat-screen TV; the other has a queen bed and a daybed with a trundle in the corner. There is a lovely sun-soaked reading nook and a large full bathroom with a tub/shower combo between the two upstairs rooms.

Rumbling Bald Resort offers excellent lake beach access, indoor pool, outdoor pools, restaurants, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals, chair/umbrella rentals, boat tours, Putt-Putt golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, exercise facility, pro shop, and two championship golf courses.
You will not even have to leave the resort! The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area and surrounding communities offer additional activities if you do.

Wonderful Getaway!

We loved our stay - cabin was beautifully decorated and the bedding was comfortable. The only drawback - was not having simple kitchen supplies that one expects, even in a VRBO. (Sugar, cooking spray etc) we finally found some salt in the emergency cabinet 😁. We did not have running water / restroom facilities our first night until well after midnight due to a broken water main, but the contractors did their best to get this corrected as quickly as they could. We felt for them having to work so late!

Cozy cabin

We loved our stay. The cabin was cozy and had all the necessities we needed. We had an issue getting the correct door code. First email it was missing so I called and they sent me a new one with a code. When we got to the cabin and tried the code it didn’t work so had to call again. Erica was very helpful and gave us a new code and it finally worked. Other than that it was perfect and we enjoyed our stay!

The Cabin with owners who thought of everything

The owners of this property thought of everything when they designed it for you and your family to stay on vacation. There is plenty to do right at home without going anywhere. There are games to play. There are a wide array of genres of movies, music CDs, books, with the places to sit and play, read, or watch until your heart is content. Also, there is satellite TV and internet connection. There is a fire ring outside if you want to sit by a fire. There is a gas grill to cook on. The kitchen and dining area has plenty of places for a family of 8 to sit and eat as a family. The Cabin has 2 and a half baths so a family of 8 should be good to go with enough coverage for bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was only me and my husband. This is a place we would love to bring our grandkids to. They would have fun and would not be bored since there is so much to do. This did not even include the activities that were available at the resort. You have access to the resort too while you stay in this cabin. We highly recommend this cabin for your family or for your special couple getaway.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s loaded with books, DVDs and fun mountain decor. My 2 year old son loved all the pictures and animal decor. The master bedroom king bed was super comfortable and the screened in porch was great. Rumbling bald resort is a favorite that we come back to often.

Beautiful Location

This is a wonderful cabin, tucked away in the mountains. Cozy, clean, and very well stocked. It felt like home away from home. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely place!

My family of five had a wonderful stay. The cabin was probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The owners have really thought of all the details. We had everything we needed in the cabin. The community is fabulous. There is so much to do! We will most certainly be returning in the future!
