LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. SHUMONT LAKE, LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

This deck includes a table with seating for 4. Composite decking on both offers a softer, smoother, more luxurious underfoot feel.

Let's stretch our legs and head outside! Professionally designed to enhance the outdoor experience, there are two first-rate seating areas. The upper seating area is a petite spot adorned by fragrant tea-olive bushes. This is the perfect spot to gain a few moments of reflection; you may find yourself remembering this spot and longing for more peaceful moments here. Ready to join the group? Meander over to the large scenic overlook, where you'll find plenty of seating and a fire pit. This is where memories are made! From here, you have easy access to the floating dock, which is so easy you'll be tempted to just lay flat on your back to rest. If you're up for a boat ride, take out one of the two tandem kayaks. The water off the dock is approximately 4 feet deep, making it perfect for swimming, so step right in - but don't jump in! This is a naturally wooded area, and there are tree limbs under the water, so jumping in is unsafe.
