This hotel is basic and the toilet was in the shower which was weird, but the hotel was perfect for our needs. 2 minutes from the train station and a 15 minute walk into town. The staff were very friendly and overall we were more than satisfied with our stay!

the hotel is situated very close to the train station just a 2 minute walk and a 10 minute walk down to the town of desenzano.the hotel is very outdated and could do with a revamp.the staff were very helpful and helped us to organize our days out to various locations around the lake.the breakfast was was a self service continental type which was fine, dont book this hotel if your expecting 5 stars -you get what you pay for.

The hotel is not expensive so you should not expect too much. It' s clean. Breakfasts are above the average Italian first meals. The staff is the best display of the hotel. I have never met so nice and helpful people at the reception desk. Thanks a lot !!!

We didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on that. The location is fab, right between the train station and the town centre, on a straight road. Don't come here if you are expecting luxury- I feel these other reviews are unfair and written by people with ridiculous expectations. The price was cheap (for Lake Garda), the room was clean, the air con worked, everyone we met on the desk couldn't have been any more lovely or attentive. Yes, the interior is a little dated but it's a non issue. Wifi in the lobby only but who cares? Who sits in their room on Facebook when one of the most beautiful lakes in the world is literally a kilometre away?

Really enjoyed our stay here in Hotel Primavera. The room was good, food was excellent, staff were so so lovely and incredibly helpful (especially Erica! - thank you!). It is in a good location, 3 minute walk from the train station and a 5-10 minute walk from the lake. Overall, a wonderful stay, would definitely go again, and recommend!

I think we got the maids quarters. The shower was over the bday. We had a fan and we slept ok. A good location just a short walk from the town centre but a shorter walk from the train station. Quite expensive for what you get, but I imagine that tourism is very seasonal here, warranting the higher prices. Reception and staff were helpful. I recommend hiring the bikes from the reception and cycling to Sempione for the day. Maybe more clockwise around the coast if your legs are up to it. The hotel does need renovating. Our room was half painted and the toilet was tiny. But for the price it was ok.

It is supposed to be a 3 star hotel; we give it 2 stars. Just a few houses from the train station, and close to the bus. The room was adequate, the a/c worked well; TV was interesting, but it worked! Bathroom was adequate, the shower and toilet worked ok. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was ok - continental - lots of white squishy bread items. Coffee was available, barely ok.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights...At first sight we were disappointed cos it looked a bit shabby. The staff are great, helpful and all speak English. The Hotel or better still a big house is perfectly clean but it really needs refurbishment. There are tattered carpets and old fashioned decor and furniture all over the place. It would be really great if things were to be replaced. Its lovation is just 3 minutes walk from the train station so it has a fantastic lovation. Even to the centre of the village it takes only 10mins of lazy walking to reach. Although our room had no nice furniture it was very clean and the airconditioning is great. The other missing thing is the poor buffet breakfast. Small bread rolls were always stale and some ham and salad would be great. All in all I would recommend it as it was not that expensive.

Five of us stayed for 5 nights, and we all had a great experience. Beautiful view of the mountains, close enough to Riva and the lake to walk there. On a quiet street. The rooms are spacious, sleek and modern, with balconies. The breakfast is one of the best we had in a month of traveling through Italy. The staff is very helpful and management is excellent--recommendations, directions, whatever you need they try to help.

Positives: - Large room, plenty of space. - Close to the rail station. - Acceptable breakfast. - Fan. - En suite. Negatives: - Poorly placed windows which made the room dingy and without any view. - No air conditioning. - Odd layout to the room. - The bath room was a sort of wet room set up but it didn't work as the shower was a very weak spray which went every where - all over the toilet, on the towel rack, etc. Not possible to leave anything in the bathroom that you don't want to get wet and had to wipe down everything afterwards. - Poor curtains which let in a lot of light. - No air conditioning which meant we had to have the windows open but eventually had to close them as it was too noisy. - Quite a long walk into the centre of Desenzano - worse on the way back as it is up hill all the way.
