The cottage features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 bunks, modern kitchen, dining area, living room, satellite tv, front porch, back porch. 10 minutes from Hancock NY, 30 minutes from Honesdale, PA, many activities available on the Delaware River.

A fantastic little cottage on a very secluded little farm. The property owners, Jim and Tracy, were very friendly and accommodating. It was wonderful just sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

County Cottage, Cute Farm

The cabin was as good or better than described. Very comfortable, rustic with lots of wood, some interesting antiques, nice well-equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, great shower, relaxing front and rear porches. The site is the definition of quiet. The hosts are friendly, interesting and unobtrusive - as are their beautiful dogs. The farm animals also added a very nice element. Some interesting local "hole-in-the-wall" pubs and within an easy drive of the Delaware River and nearby towns including Hancock and Callicoon. We would definitely book the cabin again. It's a good value.

Overall a great experience, but there is always room for improvement

My wife and I checked in on Friday with Jim one of the owners. He walked us around the home and showed us the kitchen and where all the stuff was. Wi-Fi was sufficient for the stay. We stayed in the lower room, and there were cob webs around the lights and had a cabin/musty smell. This is not a Hilton or Marriott property, you are staying in a home that is off the beaten path. Would I stay there again? YES. If I addressed the issues with Jim and Tracy would have addressed it.

Perfect Quiet Cabin In the Woods

2 of us stayed and had a lovely time. The cabin is very cute and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen. Satellite TV (you can't plug anything into the TV so bring a laptop or tablet if you want to watch your own streaming services). We got to meet the mule, horses and goats.

We LOVED the cottage at Windy Pond Farm!

What an incredible stay at Tracy's adorable cottage at Windy Pond Farms. The space had everything we needed - a couple of bed rooms, kitchen stocked with necessary tools/pots/pans, a great front porch for sitting with coffee and staring into the middle distance, and all in the context of a very sweet farm (goats! chickens! ducks! horses! dogs! cat!). Tracy was such a kind, generous, personable host - both my friend and I managed to forget toothpaste and when we asked Tracy for the nearest place to get some, she brought us a tube from her own stock. She introduced us to some of her animals and was super approachable! Would absolutely stay again.
