Please be aware of the conditions whennyou stay her. The noise level was horrible my next door neighbor played music up until 11:30 pm and the room I booked was supposed to be a non-smoking room but instead the smell was so bad and stale you can clearly see it was a smokers room with all the ash trays it had in it. Not to mentioned the roaches would not let me be they ran around all night and by day you barely saw them. I literally itched the entire night and told the staff that I’d be better off sleeping in my truck!!! The staff however was polite and just couldn’t help with the situation because they were booked. They really need an exterminator because that place is old even the main lobby area reeks of an old stale smoke scent!!!

My friend and I were visiting Sulphur for a race. We decided on the Motel 6, being that all of the pictures posted online looked as if it had been newly refurbished. It was also an inexpensive choice, and since we were in town for only one night, we simply needed a place to rest our head before race day. Upon arrival, things seemed relatively fine. We checked in at the front (where we were charged an alleged refundable $100 incidental fee). We made our way back outside and up the stairs to the second floor to our room, and that’s where the immediate regret set in. Upon unpacking, we noticed our microwave was open and had obviously, recently been used. The bathtub was stained with black mold and the towels in the bathroom were damp (I am hoping from not being dried well after washing, but who knows). There appeared to be remnants of vomit left in the sink, food stains on the bed sheets, and the main event was a brown splatter/smudge on the wall next to the bed, wherein I can assume landed there due to previous patrons getting a little too freaky deeky in the sheets. While I understand one must not expect too much from an establishment called a “motel”, I do believe it is not unreasonable to expect basic human decency and cleanliness. Maybe I can use the refunded $100 to go toward an STD panel after spending a night in such a questionable, unclean setting.

It was so dirty x and nasty that we didn’t even stay the night. There was dried dirt all over the floor like someone had work boots on in there. The bathroom was nasty. We work in the er as registered nurses and we live an hour away. We had a really rough night and wanted to get some sleep but this motel was so disgusting we had to drive home. I could let my children stay there. And the room was not as described. I’d really just like a refund.

If I was giving a rating just on the staff, it would be a 3 to 4 without a doubt. The room albeit was somewhat clean, what was alarming was the insane amount of pot smoking residence around me. All I could smell was pot from about 4 o’clock to probably one in the morning. I did not inform the front desk. I did not call the police. I just wanted to get the experience over with and be on my way. It’s not the safest of neighborhoods and I wasn’t looking for trouble. I was disappointed to say the least with my stay.
