Property was very well located and with a beautiful beach. Most of pools were on construction though but still it was enjoyable

Beautiful Resort. Some of it was under construction but it was still lovely.

More restaurants around area and bigger pools extra bars and more choices of food

We did not appreciate the major reconstruction that was going on and the unwillingness of either Orbitz or Westin to let is cancel our reservation.

I picked the Westin because it seemed very kid friendly. I was with my 2 year old and 4 year old, so we needed a toddler friendly atmosphere. Pros: Staff is great! Very helpful, kind and accommodating Beach is beautiful and easy to access Kids 4 years old and under eat free with purchase of adult entrée Lots of kid foods available for picky eaters Mountain view room had a gorgeous view Cons: Construction!!!! -Only 4 of the 6 pools were open. There is a small water slide (not the big one is closed) and the small one doesn’t have all the jets on so kids have to push themselves down. -There was loud jack/impact hammering during weekday business hours -The main café sits next to the construction site so the view is obstructed and it’s noisy -There is no Beach Bar nor Colonade Café dining due to construction -Luau area is small in front of the hotel due to construction -People with ocean front views switched to mountain views due to the noise and also they ugly view of construction (I wish this was previously disclosed and from the looks/sounds of it, there will probably be construction through much of the summer of 2019) Only “wellness” kids menu is provided. Servers have to verbally tell you the other menu items of regular kids foods. Elevators were constantly broken often leaving only 1 for the whole floor working

place was under construction and not too many places open.

Beautiful location and facility; however, the construction and lack of availability of all of the hotel's amenities made it difficult to enjoy.

Wonderful service!!! Super clean and modern. There was construction, but it didn’t disrupt our room. Food was just fine, but not amazing.

The property was under construction when we were there.

I liked the pools, cleaniness, but i didnt like the construction on site.

Beach and beach access were great. Construction started the day after we arrived (we were not warned of this when making desert) with jackhammering from 9-5. Even going to the beach didn’t get us far enough from the noise. Our room was in the south building which was worn. Carpet in halls is stretched and our bathroom door squeaked loudly making getting ready we n the morning when others were sleeping tough. I appreciate they are trying to update the property I just wish I had been warned of this when reserving through orbitz...

Beautiful sunset view, nice restaurants. They were doing construction and it was quite noisy by the pool.

Ants in the first room that was assigned. Carpets in the halls are worn wrinkled and have odors. Most every decent spot to sit poolside requires reservations with fees as much as $250 per day! Basically they want you to walk around and pay to sit down. The fish pond waterfall has old water and seems to also have an odor.

The property is centrally located near whalers village with easy access to restaurants and shops. It’s a bit busier than the Ritz up the road, but as s young family that was great to have with our daughter. The sunset views are beautiful and direct as opposed to some other hotels. Monkey Pod restaurant was our go to throughout. Not all rooms have bathtubs so we needed to switch rooms. Dalton was the manager that helped us and he was great... the other manager was not as accommodating and left us with a bad impression. Also the bellhop staff is slow so I would recommend taking your own luggage to the room if you want it within an hour

location was great, Whalers Village with several fun places to eat just 2 minute walk. New lobby looks great. carpet in the hallways needs updates. room was very comfortable

Construction was horrible with one working elevator in the lobby that took us 15 minutes to get into our room after a long flight. Valet only available for parking that was $30/day that was never specified online. This Westin only has 1 jacuzzi that’s pretty smal and is always full with people so wasn’t able to enjoy it out of our 5 day stay at the hotel.
