We absolutely loved the hotel and would stay there again. I liked nice thick towels and having a bathrobe. Also there is a coffee shop in the reception area for those who like a custom made coffee.

Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful staff, amenities were what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Sara in concierge was wonderful at helping us organize our outings! Cons: A little dated, carpet in room was dirty, oddly, no patio lighting on outside units. Probably not a big deal for ‘interior-facing’ units but if you stay and face the outside of the complex, it’s really dark when sitting on the patio in the evening. The pool is open 24hrs yet last week, there were never any towels out after 4 so go grab some before then if you plan on using the pool or hot tub at night. Lastly, there’s a great shuffleboard outside the cafe...only problem is there was no ‘sand’ on it to play. When I asked the front desk is they could get more I was met with a deer in headlights stare. She didn’t know the game and asked ‘engineering’ to come take a look but no one ever came by as my kids and I sat waited while we drank our coffee’s. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and would stay here again but for the money, I expected a little more. Shop for deals outside the Ritz website.

The hotel overall was nothing spectacular. It was not worth the money you spent to stay there. The location on the island was away from most every activity and local attraction. The beach was only nice to look at not spend the day, and you had to walk a good distance from the hotel to get to it. The spa and their staff was really the main highlight. It was only $25 for a day pass to use the hot tubs, relaxation room, steam room, sauna and showers, you could come and go as you please, that I would suggest doing. The main lobby staff was nice and helpful but I cannot say the same for the concierge staff. After sending us 25 minutes from the hotel to a snorkeling trip that had been cancelled when I had called twice in the morning to check if it was still on, then complaining and being told I never asked if it was cancelled I just asked if my taxi was outside I realized there was no communication between staff. I also booked a luau with them and found out they had booked me the wrong seat I returned to the hotel and explained my frustration and was answered with "what do you want me to do about it?". Overall I believe the hotel is overpriced and out of the way location wise. If you do choose to stay there though, please be advised and just book your activities yourself.

Love the hotel. Our view was what we paid for. Hotel staff very attentive to every request. Only complaint— and it isn’t really one — wish there was more lightning in the rooms. But overall we would definitely stay again.

Felt a little trapped with only valet parking and a far walk from rooms to front of hotel. Would have been better if I could get out of the hotel easier to go eat or explore. Hard to go in and out a few times a day. Had an incident where a kid pooped in the family pool. One attendant told my wife and daughter that everyone could use the adult pool for the rest of the day while they cleaned it. Then they got kicked out of the adult pool by the pool manager. I spoke to someone at the front desk afterwards and they made it right. This was after my wife was in tears though and ruining her day.

Huge improvement over previous years. Before, although called a Ritz Carlton it dealt more like a standard Marriot. This visit it was the Ritz. Appears to have new leadership and they listened to the reviews. Night and day comparing prev visits and now.

The hotel is beautifully located and has so much to offer - with multiple pools, outdoor games, tennis courts and beach. The spa and fitness center are also great. Recommend planning activities like snorkeling or kids club ahead of your trip as these tended to book up. The concierge were amazing resources. Loved the restaurant Banyan Tree. All of the staff was super attentive. It’s paradise!

We spent 10 days here and it wasn’t enough, Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The resort was spotless and well maintained. The guest rooms were cleaned twice daily and very comfortable.

Positive experience all around. Would recommend to anyone.

The staff was excellent from the time I arrived to the time I checked out. Super friendly staff and always had a smile on their face!! I was in Maui for the Maui Invitational (College Basketball Tournament) rooting for Michigan. Go Blue!! A high end, top notch hotel! If anyone says this place is not top notch then they are picky, picky, picky people. Housekeeping was awesome, very very polite, and would always say aloha with a nice smile. Valet was nice. Like I said you can’t go wrong with this property. Loved it!!!
