Awesome condo!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 10 days. The location is perfect, close to many restaurants and shopping (especially the Maui Fish Market and Times Square). The complex is beautiful and quiet. The condo is fully stocked with everything you could need and was super clean. I would never tire of the view from the lanai, simply beautiful. We had morning coffee on the lanai and many dinners. The owner is very easy to work with and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this condo.

Pleasant trip

This listing is very accurate and we had a fun time here. Some of the activities/classes are on pause until covid's over so be aware of that. The place was very clean and Ray was very responsive. We used the beach chairs a few times and took advantage of the tennis courts. If you're looking for a day hike I'd suggest 13 crossings as it has a really pretty waterfall at the end and is about an hour away.

Unfortunately because of life circumstances I had extra time to stay in Maui and I found this lovely place to stay I would recommend it had a wonderful experience even though things were shutting down over the virus.

Awesome unit!

First of all, Ray was very easy to deal with. His unit is perfect. It has everything you need for a great beach day (towels, 2 body boards, beach chairs and lots more) or if it's raining the unit has regular tv and Netflix! The kitchen is stocked for all of your eating, cooking and food prep needs. The washer and dryer come in handy. The unit is clean, quiet and comfortable and has a great view. The resort is tucked nicely off the highway in the sense that there is minimal foot traffic on the ocean front. You will appreciate this once you walk the boardwalk towards Whaler's Village and beyond where it is much busier. Private oasis in a perfect location. We would not hesitate to book this unit again. Thanks Ray!

Great place to stay

Was just as pictured.The corner unit does catch the breeze , we had a unusual three day stint with calm winds,the brand new AC took care of it in minutes. Thank you Ray for the late check out ,it made our late flight way easy. By the way we have ben coming to Maui for over 25 years and love the Papakea property the best.

Stayed in Ray’s condo in the Papakea Resort on Maui May 8 - 16, 2019. Absolutely loved this condo. Was very very clean and comfortable. Had everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Fantastic view of the ocean and pool. Has two ceiling fans that kept the condo very comfortable. Has an air conditioner but never used it. The concierge‘s were very helpful when we had questions. The condo even had some beach chairs, several umbrellas, and beach towels. Ray takes great care of his condo. Will definitely be returning to this condo in the future.

Beautiful

Very nice and convenient property. Not in the Kaanapali Resort proper but might as well be. All the restaurants and beach are all well within comfortable walking distances. The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. Rays unit is nice and clean and the view is better than the pictures. We hope to be back since our stay was cut short by my wife falling ill. It’s a goal we hope to fulfill. David Gaddy

Immaculate condo in great location

This condo in the beautiful Papakea resort was wonderful! It is a third floor end unit with the stairs conveniently right outside our door. We had a view of the ocean, pool, and a putting green. The unit itself was super clean, and we had everything we needed from towels and beach chairs to a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked about half of our dinners while we were there and also used the BBQs by the pool. The bed was so comfortable and we had plenty of pillows and even a blanket although we didn’t need to use it. Didn’t use the AC either, although the condo does have one. Ray was so wonderful to work with, he was very responsive and provided clear communication every step of the way so we were well prepared for our visit. We appreciated the list of things to do on Maui, and the restaurant recommendations. There is a supermarket right across the street, very convenient, and also quick access to the boardwalk. We walked on the boardwalk almost every morning, and a couple of times walked all the way to Whalers Village. Great beaches were only a few minutes walk from our condo. We thought it was all perfect!

Very nice condo!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We were grateful for the trade winds. At one point, when it was very warm, we turned on the AC. Unfortunately the AC is very noisy, so we didn’t use it. Otherwise the condo was great! We were a little disappointed that there was no beach at the property, but we enjoyed laying by the pool.

Wonderful home away from home in Maui

Thank you, Ray, for providing your unit as a vacation rental! The unit was super clean and fully stocked with an incredible ocean view. We really felt at home here after. We had everything we needed and more--beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, fully-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels/pillows/blankets, AC when needed, and more. We enjoyed spending down time relaxing in the unit with an ocean view and ocean breeze right off the balcony, reading books or working on a few jigsaw puzzles (which we left behind for the next guests). The resort was extremely well-maintained with super friendly staff. We loved spending time at the pool, just steps away, as well as watching the sunset every night on the lawn chairs right on the ocean. And the location was great! Maui is easy to get around by car and we had fast, easy access to all the places we wanted to visit from this location. Thank you for an amazing place to spend our babymoon in Maui!

Awesome place to stay

We would recommend this as a place to stay 100 percent . Situated around Grocery store, eateries , beach access , get on boardwalk is a breeze . Quiet at night ,as well secure grounds and clean .Easy access to Hwy 30 which leads everywhere . short distance to Napili Beach and Kapalua Bay for snorkeling and great snorkeling right in front of resort .Owner is a pleasure to deal with and cannot say enough about information package he emailed to us prior to arriving .
