Perfect location

We had a large group stay in several condos….it was the perfect place to accommodate us all. The location could not have been better, we walked everywhere with ease. The amenities were great as well with 3 pools and a large BBQ area, perfectly fit our needs!!!

Our Maui Paradise

We really enjoyed unit D108 at the Eldorado. We’ve stayed at the Eldorado dozens of times and have never been disappointed. For this trip, we rented two units to accommodate our entire family - kids and grandkids - and both units were excellent. Fully equipped and clean. Aloha for now. We will be back!

Even better than we expected

First of all, this property is even more beautiful than we expected. The view is amazing, and it's just a very short walk to the pool and hot tub. Location is great, in a really touristy part of the island (we stayed in a smaller area for the first half of our trip, so this was what we were looking for for the second half). Our host was very responsive and accommodating. My elderly dad was having a hard time keeping warm at night, so our host provided us with some extra blankets ASAP. We had a party of 7, ages 12-90, consisting of my family and my parents, and it was a great setup for us. It rained pretty hard our last couple days there, but even just sitting on the deck and watching the rain was beautiful here. I can't recommend it enough.

Nice, dated, quiet

The unit was clean with a well-appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. Showers were fine. Air conditioning worked fine but made this startling clank about every hour or so, sometimes waking us out of sleep. There can be ants/ tiny bugs if you aren’t extremely attentive to crumbs. Pools were nice. There is no view of ocean and it’s a bit of a walk to the beach but not bad (and you can easily grab a ride in the golf cart as the lobby is across the road). Walked often to Whaler’s Village too. Very nice beach and cabana. Decor dated, unit a bit worn but as I said comfortable in a good location and it suited us just fine.

Perfect location

We love staying at the Maui El Dorado! The perfect location- close enough to the beach with great pools and lots to do nearby! We love walking long the beach boardwalk, star gazing at night and always feel like we have plenty of room to relax!

We really enjoyed this property. The location was perfect for us! The walk to the beach and whalers village was just right! We also enjoyed the different pools and often would go to a different pool each day. The dryer takes forever so beware!!! Check in was a headache….don’t try to check in anytime before 4. I’m talking down to the minute. We got over it tho and had a great time!!!!

More walking required than expected!

Property itself very nice. However, due to golf course the paths to the beach and Whalers, much further than advertised. Check-in time at 4:00 and check-out at 10:00, but charged for a full day!

Family summer travels

This was our first time staying at the Maui Eldorado. We liked the location within Kanappali being able to walk to Whalers village or the beach, and yet having a quiet spot to call home. We would definitely consider staying here again. The condo itself served us well having adequate cookware, towels and bedding. One area that we needed help with was the AC. It had sensors that didn’t seem to be working correctly so it kept shutting down. After the third call to the front desk and someone coming to “fix” it, he just over rode the sensors so the AC stayed on. It was a couple hot first days, but it did cool down. Our stay was enjoyable!!

Fabulous stay

This was our first time in Maui and it was awesome. The condo was perfect big enough for our family and perfectly located. I highly recommend Maui El Dorado. Our next trip back we will be staying here again.

Great location. Near all that Kaanapali has to offer.

Great pool deck, pool and hot tub less than 50 yards from our patio. Short walk to The Golf Shop, restaurants at Whalers Village, and a private beach with great Snorkeling at Black Rock..

Nice amenities

We used the big pool, which goes only 4 1/2 feet, but is really enough, and the grandkids (ages 5-10) loved it. Condo was well appointed, and slept 8 of us.

A little piece of paradise

Late to be putting in the review, but catching up while stuck at home during this coronavirus pandemic. We stayed at the Maui Eldorado in July 2019, during my family's first trip to Maui. Vivian was incredible to deal with, both prior to our arrival in walking us through each step, this being our first use of VRBO, and during our stay. The property was clean, and as described. Perfectly suited to accommodate the eight of us in our group, the amenities and location were superb and reaffirmed our decision to choose to stay in this area rather than with our other relatives also visiting (there for a family reunion) who stayed elsewhere on Maui. We made good use of the washer and dryer, the clean and the clean, fully equipped kitchen. My only complaint is that there is so much to do and see in Maui, we would have loved to have more time to just relax and stay by the condo, which was in short supply. Although that does give us a reason to try to get back some day, and if we do, I hope we will again be able to stay at this property!

Communication deserves 10 Stars! Beautiful Condo too!

We came to Maui during a very unique time in our country, even our world. The effects of the coronavirus were just beginning to trickle down once we arrived on the island. Which makes for a unique stay in itself. First- Vivian is awesome. She went above and beyond what was necessary. Our last three days of our stay, they closed the pool and BBQ area- due to the virus. Luckily the beach stayed open and we could enjoy social distancing with the sun and waves. She even gave a partial refund for the inconvenience of it all. Thank you Vivian! Ok- now for the review of our condo. It has an incredible lay out for families. The master bedroom is on the opposite side of the other bedroom and living room. The bathrooms are updated and clean. We had continuous hot water and good water pressure. (That's always a huge bonus)! The kitchen is not huge but sufficed just fine... we got creative and used about every single bit of cupboard space for food. The dishes were outdated but that is never a deal breaker. They were clean and that's all that mattered! Pots, pans, utensils, etc. were all available. The beds were comfortable, with nice, clean bedding. I was nervous at first because the master bed was a little too soft, but it ended up being great. One of our sons slept on the pull out couch and said it was the most comfortable couch he's ever been on! Cable/WIFI worked great. My only criticism of the condo would be the location within the complex. It is right at the top, which is near the street and shops... I thought it was going to be noisy, but honestly the lanai is on the backside and you never heard noise at all. I was pleasantly surprised. (And had all the shops been open, that would have been a plus too!) The swimming pool is clean and kid friendly, the BBQ areas are also nice- I think it was too far of a walk to the beach-- especially if you wanted to carry anything down... 10-12 minute walk, but the golf cart was always available to pick us up! We were only able to utilize the beach cabana two times before they too had to close because of Covid 19... but it really is a nice set up. They give you towels, they have bathrooms, showers to rinse sand, tables and chairs, beach chairs, a kitchen to store food, etc. Overall, and for the price, this condo is definitely WORTH IT!

Great stay, great location

Our stay in unit D108 at Maui Eldorado was just as expected. The condo was clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved the easy access to the beach and the convenience of the beach cabana. My husband and I traveled with our two young girls , 1 and 4 years old, and being able to rent towels and chairs at the cabana makes it that more convenient. The less stuff we need to carry, the better! In addition, the cabana has a kitchen and an area to eat which was great to have when it was time for lunch. Maui Eldorado is also conveniently located near Whaler's Village (about a 15 minute walk with kids) and neighbors The Fairway Shops. The check-in process was easy and our host was very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Awesome experience

The staff was super friendly...we loved talking with Willie!! The rooms were clean and nice. The beach was great and we loved the kitchen area to store drinks/snacks. Next time we visit Maui we want to stay in the same unit D108. It was great!! Thanks team
