There should be 24hr coffee available and should be able to smoke on balconies

We love that Kaaanapali Alii is located on a beautiful stretch of beach. The pools and bbq area are great. Gardens are beautiful. Rental costs and parking are good. Right now the construction next door was distracting. They started before 8 each morning and worked 7 days a week.

We stayed at the Alii last year. This year,we had a mountain view and looked out over the golf course. Played 18 holes there, in the drizzle and wind of the preface of Hurricane Lane. Last 3 days of our 10 day stay, were "eventful" with the hurricane and fires. Still. will return here

Yes, our place was near the beach and we love the grilling opportunities.

quiet comfortable and lots of room. If you want less hectic, free of crowds, with all the amenities of a big resort. Then this it. Super friendly staff. having the kitchen and entertaining space was perfect for or family and friends. Gym was great. Grill master and beachside BBQs was a fun evening as well.

Overall, we are very happy with the property and the time we spent there. The only big issue I felt was that the floors were extremely slippery inside the rooms and my wife slipped and fell and thought that she had broken her foot. The hotel responded fast and helped us alleviate the situation. But they need to look into this.

Well equipped condo apartment with all amenities. May need to upgrade the TV to a bigger screen. Instructions to use the remote control were needed as it was set differently than usual.

We have stayed at Kaanapali Alii several times and love it. Feels like home.

Our spacious 2 bedroom, plus a den with 2 beds, and 2 bathrooms, was absolutely beautiful. We've never stayed at such a lovely place in Maui. The pool area is small compared to other places, but who cares with the beach right there, and so many other things to do! All the staff people were wonderful. You must stay at this place to believe it!

Excellent. Two Golf courses next to property. Property on beach, Shopping at Whaler's Village a Hotel away follow walk way on beach to Whaler's. Numerous restaurants very short walk, next to property and Whaler's Village.

While room was a garden view ocean could still be seen from 8th floor.

We, a family with two children, were pleasantly surpirised to find a spaciuos cosy condo with a separate bedroom for children. Really liked fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Since we were on the ground floor it was easy to walk out to the pool and the beach. The garden was really nice and well maintained. What lacked was a playground or a pool with slides/other playthings. With regard to comfort, beds/matresses were somewhat old or too soft - not really back-friendly;-(. Also, it would be nice to have stools in bathrooms to make tooth brushing and face washing easier for kids - sinks too high. Sofa in the living room was somewhat old and smelly. Overall, really liked staying there and would recommend it to friends.

Kaanapali Alii has full kitchen and living room along with bedroom. Bathroom is spectacular with 5 nozzle shower. Service is great, our DVD player was not working and they replaced it right away. They have collection of DVDs you can borrow. Nice pools, overall great experience.

A lovely condo, right on Kaanapali Beach beach. Although there are no restaurants in the resort, there are many within a short walking distance along the beach trail.

The Ka'anapali Ali'i is more like staying at a condominium resort as compared to a hotel resort. The staff was friendly, warm, courteous and not overly stuffy like at some resorts in Maui. There is outside grilling with a grill-master and pool area as well as some of the best swimming off the beach. Good snorkeling is about a 10 minute walk up the beach to Black Rock. Go in the morning for the best water and fewer people. Shopping is within walking distance and the historic town of Lahaina is only three miles away. Definitely will stay here again.

Our stay was great, nice apartment which was very spacious and comfortable but slightly outdated but I didn't care. Our 6th floor balcony ocean front was great. Pool was nice but no poolside bar or restaurant on the premises. Staff was very nice and parking was always available... Covered parking. The beachfront extends both ways to several hotels and there is a boardwalk. Beach was a little rough to just swim in though in front of the hotel but calmer walking down a couple of hotels. Shave ice is also a walk away near the Hyatt!

This condo was everything we wanted and more... location, location, location. We rented a 2 bedroom for a party of 5 [2 adults/ 3 kids] and had ample space. It is modern, central to the beach, shops, restaurants. We are already planning our return!

This place was beyond what I could imagine. Our room was so big, I literally got lost the first time I walked in there. Staff wanted to do anything to help out to make our stay great. Beautiful views. Can't wait to return.

We loved the condo complex. It was well worth the money. We were able to enjoy the beach right in front of the property and lounge by the pool. We had a ground floor garden view, and it was perfect for us. We hope to return soon.
