Our condo is situated so close to the ocean that when you first open the door, it seems as though you could dive right in. So close in fact that your favorite pastime might just be kicking back on the lanai, relaxing to the soothing sound of the surf, and enjoying some of the most scenic vistas Hawaii has to offer!
Here you can view marine life right from our lanai, including humpback whales in season and sea turtles frolicking directly in front of the property year round. You can also enjoy easy access to swimming or snorkeling right in front of the property via the adjoining beach, or just relax by the oceanfront pool and revel in the scenic views of Molokai and Lanai right offshore.
Our remodeled condo brings the tropical ambiance indoors through the extensive use of bamboo materials, porcelain "travertine" tile floors, tropical themed ceiling fans and fixtures, and louvered doors. This second floor unit has expansive vaulted ceilings, which creates an abundance of natural light and ventilation, and privacy from its end unit location.
The remodeled kitchen features granite countertops, custom maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an ultra quiet dishwasher, and is fully equipped for when you would rather dine in.
Our living room and kitchen feature a direct view of the Ocean and the island of Molokai, which is all the more grand once you step out onto our balcony, or "lanai" as we say here in Hawaii.

Property was very nice and accommodating. Communication from the rental property was very lacking which is the only reason I am rating it 4 stars. The property was great just the lack of communication. This was also not the original listing I booked it was swapped to a different one.

Overall great location and the complex with the pool and beach access was phenomenal! Bedroom/bedding was nice. The upstairs obviously wasnt cleaned prior to our arrival. Their was a crumpled sanitary strip from a bathing suit on the floor upstairs and it obviously hadnt been vacuumed. The front door was broken with a missing glass slat so anyone could see in. The garbage disposal was broken on our arrival (although they did offer to fix mid stay, and we declined). They left us with a broken beach chair, 4 trashbags for a week and two rolls of toilet paper. All that is to say, we really enjoyed our stay, but they really embodied the idea of bare minimum/nickel and dime feel that is all too common with VRBOs these days.

This property was great. The location was wonderful! It was very clean. We loved being right on the ocean and being adjacent to a beach.
My only complaint would be it was noisy. It's an older complex so thing are not made like newer places. We could hear our neighbors and even the screaming kid in the other complex. So keep that in mind. We would stay here again.

Great location. Walking distance to coffee, food and grocery. Beautiful views and close beach/park access. Great for kids! Bonus loft in Unit 213 which is listed as "sleeps up to 4 adults" but can accommodate more if utilizing the loft space. However, I'm sure there is a cap on occupancy per unit. My 14 year old daughter was thrilled she didn't have to share a room with her younger brothers :) Happy family = happy vacation!

Needs repairs!
I'm not too picky when it comes to my vacation rentals. I just want a nice place to lounge and crash, have a view, and maybe a pool. This seemed to check all the boxes so decided to give it a go.
The good : Lots of walkable places and/or short drive for necessities. Unit had the basic things you need in terms of cookware, dishes and soap + some extra sanitizer and face masks. Bathroom seems to be newer and lots of hot water.
The bad : There were so many broken things that it made for an annoying experience. Not enough for me to call to have repairs made while on vacation but enough to be annoying. Light over the sink flickered when turned on, I had to hit the light pretty hard to get it to stop every single time. One sofa lamp light was dangling like a loose tooth so every time I turned it on, was super careful so as not to break it and/or electrocute myself. Screen door refused to stay on the glider so I was constantly fighting it. There was an unusable patio chair upside down on the lanai with a sign telling us not to use it. Curtains in the bedroom + blinds in the living room were either partially broken or really hard to open and close. Pool was cloudy, didn't feel clean so my kids only went in it once and my husband and I never did. I did laundry once in the laundromat. The laundry machines itself were fine but the change machine was broken so I called the front desk (it was after office hours) and the woman there was really helpful and nice, suggested I call the grounds person. So I did and he made change for me but was a bit gruff and could only give me $7 in quarters, which thankfully was enough for 2 loads + soap. Overall, outside noise is loud. The windows are slats of glass and don't make for any kind of worthwhile seal so the bedroom was noisy from traffic and the living room had the booming ocean. We love sleeping to the sounds of the ocean but because the condo is on a retaining wall, there was no natural, distanced sound, it was really loud in the living room with everything closed. Didn't have a problem sleeping through that for the most part but there were a few times I wished it was a just a little more quiet. Lastly, I wish there were some beach accessories like some others condos provide, like umbrellas and chairs.
Front desk woman made it sound like they may be doing some updates so hopefully that will happen sometime soon, in the meantime, renter beware.
