I reserved a room with a King size bed for me and my wife and was given a room with two single (yes, Single) beds and was rudely told by the front desk staff checking us in that it was all they had available. Unfortunately, it was quite late at night; otherwise, we would have found a different hotel. Sadly, my wife had to spend our anniversary on two separate single beds. The only redeeming thing about the room was the presence of an iron and ironing board.

This Sheraton is quite bad. I arrived on. Saturday and there must have been as event so the lobby was very crowded and extremely loud. Totally not ones idea of a relaxing hotel stay. Check in was easy enough and I proceeded to my room. As soon as I came out the lift, onto the hallways heading to my room, there was an overwhelming stale smell to the place. I could hardly breathe. The room smelt no better and it took a good few hours to get over the mouldy stale smell. I considered checking out and going to stay with friends, but by then it was quite late in the evening. I did not dare to dine here cos of this. The hotel is thoroughly in need of an update and I will not be using it again.

For the past 10 years I have traveled to Lagos and have stayed at almost every hotel in the City. The Sheraton is hands down the best. First it has a secure compound. It has a comfortable lounge and dinning with the best food in Lagos. The rooms are outstanding and the bed as comfortable as you would find anywhere in the world. congrats to management for keeping up the standards.
