This review is for the Festac town Golden tulip only and may not be applicable to the other locations. Just FYI for whoever is booking the Golden tulip Festac hotel from outside of Nigeria: this is an old hotel. Rugs, beds and showers are from the 70's so expect choking stale smell from the rugs in the rooms and corridors, 'unsleep-able" beds, and hard to operate showers. Plus even if u reserve a room for two guests, only one will get a complimentary breakfast, and the other guest will fast. I reserved several rooms and couldnt cancel them when I got to the hotel, so I had to go shopping for a new hotel with my money locked away at GoldenTulip. Plus you got to get a parking slip each time u drive in and out even if it's 2million times a day. Staff are cool though.

I enjoyed every bit of my stay! Staffs were nice, property was clean, secure and accessible. I recommend this hotel for anyone who has family and needs a peaceful holiday. They also have different activities in and around the facility for any age group. In nutshell, All you need is a visit and the saying goes, a visit will convince you period!

Out side the hotel was busy with human traffic. I was checked into rooms with old model TVs from the 80s. The hotel will not change the TVs or assign me to another room. The hotel manger was not on site so no one could address my concern. Same thing happen for the 2nd day so I have to leave the hotel and manger could not approve y refund. Orbtze could not refund my unused night either....Horrible.

Dear Nnena, We received your feedback during your last stay at the hotel. The management is currently putting in place new flat screen Tv in all the rooms. However, there is manager on duty 24/7 . Meanwhile, I would appeal that during your next visit do ask of the Front Office Manager if there is any issue bothering on refund that cant be resolved. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Your points are noted, and the management is gradually changing the Tvs to flat screen, So be rest assured that when next you come you will see a different picture.
