A fitting and contemporary 3 star hotel located in ajao estate close to the local and international airports. Major facilities include swimming pool, spa and gym. Wi-Fi is available and fast. Rooms are spacious enough though the rooms above ground floor need some airing when not occupied. Security is available and parking space is adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves quality local and continental dishes. Only snag is probably the accessibility due to traffic in ajao estate.
Even though this hotel wasn't the worst hotel, they can fix up a few things but in West Africa there is constant construction. The A/C is very cold, the refrigerator works, the water is hot in the shower
Lighting in bathroom didn't work, there were water on the floor, was not clean. Continuos noise over the night, like electrical warning bit, bit, bit, bit,bit... Bed sheet Broken... Fortunally was only one night
I was in Nigeria in the month of August, and I spent 1 week at D palms airport Hotel. it was an awesome experience, from the reception to the room service , to the pool section was professional services . I enjoyed my stay and will recommend here to everyone. an experience will convince you.
Dreadful service from most of the staff but not surprising considering they work 24 hour shifts without a break, the hotel is run down no water in the morning to wash /shower with .management lie to you telling you there has been a burst pipe when in fact they turn off the water pumps at night.. shocking just shocking !!!!!
I booked this hotel through Expedia.co.uk for a wedding in March. The hotel manager Mr. Korma refused the booking although I had confirmation of payment printed. He then proceeded to tell me that this my issue to resolve but they would not accept payment. He refused to let me use the hotel phone to contact Expedia. I had to call them myself to discuss a dispute that was between the Hotel and the service. Addtionally, he proceeded to blame the mismanagement of the Expedia accounts to a previous manager, discussing how the gentlemen did not know how to manage hotels and how he was better which was completely unprofessional. Once I refused to pay again and spoke to Expedia they confirmed that they sent a credit card for the room to be paid for. Mr. Korma insisted the card was not sent, when we went to his office the card details was printed on his desk. If they were not accepting expedia bookings then I would have expected a notice on the website or service upon arrival not a blatant disregard for the customer. Further more, during the weekend of the wedding, he kept trying to extort money from my husband trying to refute the room deposit of the hall which was paid for and following us around the hotel. On the morning of our wedding, he still was approaching my husband about money. During our stay the hotel was undergoing renovations. The ceiling plaster in the bathroom came crashing down on the bathroom floor along with leaks from the shower. I intended to stay during my entire time in Lagos but given the experience I was more than happy to checkout first thing Monday morning and move to more suitable accommodations. The standard was atrocious and the behaviour was extortionate. Find somewhere else to stay!
Had booked and paid for this hotel through Expedia.co.uk. When I arrived at 1800 the hotel refused my booking say that they were in dispute with Expedia. After trying to contact Expedia several times without success I had to pay cash for the room. It was awful! The room door lock did not work, the bed was as hard as the floor, the shower did not work properly. The room overlooked an adjacent depot and noisy work went on until 2300. In the morning the breakfast and service was awful.
Excellent customer service, crew were very helpful, treats you with respect and they always wants to make you feel comfy at all times, excellent security throughout, in fact I'll loved to recommend this place to anyone traveling to Nigeria on any vacay, this place is really for you, its actually a home sweet home and i would love to come back again anytime soon, please keep up with the good job done, God bless y'all.
It was definitely not our first time in Lagos, however, the experience we had at this hotel was mouthwatering. From the swift check-in, to pleasant room and a homely atmosphere, it was all together an awesome experience, an international standard indeed.
beautiful and warm ambience....close access to international airport...very affordable too for the business minded person...the property has conference and meeting room... the food is ok and its under a better management.
