Excellent clean room on second floor. Quiet and without order. Easy parking in front of hotel. Good morning breakfast with quick replenishment. No issues or problems. Will stay here again when visiting Lafayette.
Stopped here on my way from Atlanta to Houston. Check in was smooth, room was new and huge. Breakfast was awesome! Was worried about noise from the airport, but didn't hear a thing. Loved the huge swiveling tv and outdoor seating area.
I would like to begin saying the staff is wonderful over at that hotel rooms are okay breakfast was good need New Manager hate to say but her personal sucks she's don't make you feel welcome other then that amazing works beds could be more comfortable an need more lighting in bathroom area
A brief stay in Lafayette has left me.with an outstanding experience at the Residence Inn. The staff there was amazing. Miss Tara Falcon is Assistant General Manager and definitely knows what it takes to make everyone's stay pleasant. Always smiling and wanting to know if she can help in any way. Maria in breakfast is very sweet and attentive also. The hotel itself was very well kept and my experience was one I tell of often. This is definitely on my must return list. Thanks again to the residence I'm Lafayette.
Upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite which was nice. Didn't use more than microwave and fridge in kitchen area, but it's there if you need it. A few minor housekeeping issues (dirty under pullout, dusty vent fans in bathrooms) Well lit vanity areas but toliet/bath area only had dim light from vent fan. Pleasant front desk staff. Hotel was in slightly odd location set back from intersection, but that kept it very quiet.
We were there for 3 nights. The elevator floor really needs to be vacuumed, the door squeaks very loudly - it needs to be greased. The bed was hard as a rock. The sofa pull out bed was dirty and had old pop corn in it. The bathroom door was in a funky spot that required you to do a dance around the toilet to open and close it. Not a bad place to stay but we expect a little more from a Marriott property.
Stayed here for a month during a business relocation. The staff is super nice and very accommodating to any needs. The room was spacious and quiet which was nice. I really enjoyed the social hours they have throughout the week which offers different types of food and drinks. Location is relatively quiet and not much within walking distance.
I was booked into this hotel after my reservations at another property were cancelled due to flooding. The staffs at Fairfield and at Residence were both friendly and accommodating to make the change. A little mix-up left me in an "Oh No" situation as we were driving in, but Steve at the front desk handled everything in a professional manner and saved the day (night, weekend). And this is why I like my Marriott!
This is my place to live next 60 nights, GM and staff do a great job here every day! Close drive to lots of places and the airport, come and see this place, and enjoy the hot breakfast and nightly reception with drinks.
Deplorable! Checked in and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. Room looked clean, bed made, and everything as it should be when you first check into to your hotel room. Dropped off our luggage and left the room for the night and came back late. Put my infant son on the bed, pulled the sheets back to get in myself and there was a giant diarrhea poo stain on the sheets. Disgusting!!! Called the front desk and her first reaction was to bring me new sheets so I can change my self. Nope...No thank you. They put us in a new room at 2:30am and I was so paranoid with cleanliness of the new bed and room. We never slept that night and left as soon as we could. How can you trust the housekeeping, sanitation and general upkeep after seeing how vile they left the room for guests. This is a great example of shortcuts taken and no checks and balances in place. When you book at a name brand you expect that brand to reach a certain standard and not to take shortcuts but to insure an acceptable level of housekeeping and customer services. The GM has reached and apologized to us for the mishap.
